Then I suggest they are still living a worldly life and have not got their eyes fully fixed on the Lord
That reminds me of a girl fresh out of bible college that told me she is perfectly walking in the spirit 100% of the time.

I said hey that's great. I hope to some day attain what you perfect ones have attained.

Nicely said...

I do not consider myself a legalist...truly, as you said the knowledge of sin through the Law brought me to a "Godly Sorrow" which brought me to repentance which brought me to Christ, which brought me to salvation.

As the years pass the relationship "in Christ" deepens, an new relationship begins to mature, the nature of His order begins to shine brighter. It was the Law that convicted, and grace with His sin offering that ushered me back into the presence of the Heavelny Father and then a prolonged presence allowed me to see His ways/requirements not from the old position of sin where the legalists hammer from, but from a position of awe and appreciation for His loving requirements. Requirements that dispel darkness and evil. Requirements that insure peace and stability, that establish honoring of Him and one another. This is the beauty of the Law that one Grace is utilized for repentance and fellowship with the Holy Spirit is focused on Knowing God and His ways, this is the new relationship with the law than no longer strikes fear and death, but brings forward life and joy! The Law never changes! Only we change relative to it! God Is His Laws, He never changes, we change in order to fellowship with Him anew!
Loving requirements?

Don't you know He gives you rest from those "loving requirements"? You don't want to rest from them because you see them as your obligation. But you must rest from them because you can't fulfill them. Only The Lord Jesus Christ can and has fulfilled them.

Don't you know that the Lord has said without Me you can do nothing? How are you going to fulfill "requirements" that only the Lord can fulfill?

That's the problem with legalists and Judaizers is the law is ALWAYS the lens they look through. It is only after coming to Christ that this vail is removed and people can begin to see. I could post more scripture but if you didn't understand what I've already posted I don't see the point... See Matthew 11:28 and Galatians 3:24-25...

1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

How are you bearing any fruit,(ACTION ON YOUR PART) if all you do is say "He does it all"? Do your really believe those WHO were under the law couldn't do any of it? You think God gave laws that are impossible to follow? No, the problem was it had to be done 100%. 99.9% and you missed the mark. Jesus allowed us to miss the mark, and still make it, NOT to quit trying completely because it couldn't be done perfect. Are you Gods servant or are you trying to make Him yours? You have faith and live under Grace? Those are gifts from God also. What is it you give? What is it you do? He is looking for people who will be priests and reign with Him 1000 yrs.

PLease, I have asked before, could you enlighten me?

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? HOW DO WE ATTAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS, NOT FOR SALVATION, BUT TO BE BLESSED?

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. WHAT ARE THE GOOD WORKS that men may see?

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. HOW WAS THE LAW NOT DESTROYED?

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. WHAT DOES IT MEAN IN NO WISE PASS?

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. WHAT IS A LEAST COMMANDMENT? WHAT IS A MOST COMMANDMENT?

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. HOW DO WE MAKE SURE OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS EXCEEDS THE SCRIBES?

Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God
Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.

Did Jesus come to free us from sin or the Law? When the law was on the outside of us (on tablets of stone) it did not give us the power to cease from sin. The law written within our hearts and the spirit of the Lord dwelling inside us, however does give us that power and so we are no longer slaves of sin.

It appears that you are using a King James version (KJV) of the Bible. Given your questions, you might find a modern translation such as the NIV easier to understand.

To your questions...

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? HOW DO WE ATTAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS, NOT FOR SALVATION, BUT TO BE BLESSED?
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, those whose deepest desire is to be righteous in God's sight. In turn, those who are righteous in God's sight are saved. We attain it either by following the Law perfectly which nobody is able to do, or by trusting in the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. WHAT ARE THE GOOD WORKS that men may see?
The good works we are to do are to believe in the One He has sent (John 6:29) and to do the works which He prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). The latter is different for each believer, and you will need to as the Father what His will for you is.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. HOW WAS THE LAW NOT DESTROYED?
That's an awkwardly-worded question, and is difficult to answer as asked. The Law was fulfilled in Christ; it was not destroyed in Christ.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. WHAT DOES IT MEAN IN NO WISE PASS?
Here's where a modern translation makes it clear: For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. (NIV)

HOW DO WE MAKE SURE OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS EXCEEDS THE SCRIBES?

The least commandment is the one with the least importance and impact. The "most" (a better word would be "greatest") is identified by Jesus in Matthew 22:37.
The Pharisees and scribes followed the Law (as they understood it) to the letter, and were considered the most righteous in Jewish society. Jesus was making clear that even their "righteousness" fell far short of God's standard, which is perfection. Only by believing in Jesus for salvation can we ensure that our righteousness (actually, that of Jesus imparted to us) exceeds that of the scribes.

Did Jesus come to free us from sin or the Law?
Both.

I can't stop, EG!
Because, from all the posts I read from you? I haven't ascertained what exactly it is you do believe! Nor, do I think you even know what you believe! And, not even certain that you believe what you believe.

What I do see, is an "agitator and insitgator", in a "shifting sands" on stony ground, constantly stating some efforts in only coming partially TO Christ! And, any further "growings" TOWARDS the Father? As being "strictly verboten", and thus not necessary! Nor as required as things the Father, and Christ sees as "prerequisites" for ones' "being chosen", into the Holy Priesthood!
I am under the impression that you, and many like yourself, see the Order of Melchizedek, as "an order of ONE!" That being Christ ALONE! You couldn't be more wrong!
Psalm 45
7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

And, like I have stated before, at least several times? For you? If that's alright with you? It doesn't mean you are not saved!
But please stop in the condemnation of other's who see more, and want to see more!

You are not denying Christ, AT ALL!
You are however, denying the Holy Priesthood, from where Christ came! And condemning all who strive in going the "extra miles" it takes in achieving it!

Ya see, EG? I not only view Christ as Lord and Savior. The forgiver of the "sins of the world!"
I also, as I keep growing
(in the Shepherds "preparing a table before me" In the PRESCENCE of mine enemy), as a BROTHER! Not merely, "a brother/sister in Christ", as to other believers. But, as a fellow Priest of the MOST HIGH GOD!
The "best" way to view this? The "other son" in the parable of the prodigal son (who got over his anger issues). Or? Those "workers in the fields", at the end of the days labors. That felt they were "entitled" to an higher wage, as they had been working the fields "longer!"

Psalm 110
The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

We're ALL "working" for and TOWARDS that GREAT Day!

All I'm asking from you, is that you stop limiting, God's eyes, and plan/s of salvation, to that which only you can see, or understand.

When one limits one's knowledge of God, to that which is only in the written text?
One is missing the whole point of the why the Bible had to be in a "written venue" to begin with!
It's more like God is saying a "Hello", in the written text!
(because)
There's MORE to God, then between the covers of the Bible!
Greetings NayBorBear,

Remember when we were in grade school...remember the name callers and the haughty instigators? Sadly many of them are the same only they are using false doctrine to bludgeon people. No matter how much you declare that you understand how you are saved not by works but that you love Gods Laws they will insist that you think you are saved by works! They have rejected Gods commandments and won't be satisfied until everyone else does too!

Your example of someone who is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirits guidance into all truth will have to suffice. If they refuse to follow then let them go. Kick the dust off your feet concerning them as a testimony against them. We need a little dust kicking off feet emoji. :)

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. What is the problem with Works? Faith is a gift from God. Salvation is a gift from God.
And works are a gift from GOD. Works are part of GOD's Grace, unmerited gift.

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Phil 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Can't have Faith without works. Faith is a byproduct of Christ working in us.

For Christ ( the word In our heart and mouth) is the end of the law ( the word, the Book of the Law, that on parchment and tables of stone) for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ (the word) down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ (the word) again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word (Christ) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Christ in you the HOPE OF GLORY. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

No preconceived answers, but a true heart seeking truth through Prayer and fasting from this world through GOD's Spirit, is the only root to true discernment.

Thats your problem.

You think you have all the answers, but even after you have been shown, You still do not understand what others are saying.

So lets see.

I say all people who have faith, WILL have works. And these are good works. And a glory to God

People who claim works are required to maintain salvation. Those works are self righteous works, and not of god.

That is hard for you to understand?

Come now. Not even I think you are that bad off that you can not understand these things.

So since you can not understand the above, I am an agitator?

Dude you have serious issues. You can not understand what I am saying because you know if you do, you will have to honestly declair I am right. But you can not do that. Because YOU are one who believe works are REQUIRED to maintain salvation. Not a RESULT of salvation.

When your ready to have a normal conversation and stop this stuff come talk to me, I would love to converse with you. Until then, You are the agitoator. And slanderer.
[/QUOTE]

That's just the thing, EG! I don't have ANY answers! On the other hand? I also am not scared in asking the questions! Nor am fearful of the answer/s! Which, in the eyes of some are seen as "works" for salvation, or "works" in maintaining salvation!
Take fr'instance, the statement "Love covers a multitude of sin/s." Have you for even one moment asked, or ever wondered. "If love covers a multitude?" "What, or which sin/s does love NOT cover?"

Consider also, the nation of Israel, when it came to God divying up the land to the different tribes. Yet? when it came to the tribe of Levi? They get NO land! For God said: "I AM their inheritance!"

Or even why Jesus told the rich man to SELL ALL his riches? "THEN, you'll be worthy of following me!"

I never actually knew the why I never wished, nor even wanted to own land, or buy a house. Perhaps, it was because, I seen how indebted my Dad was. How he had to work almost 24/7, and about the only time us kids (5 kids in 6 years...the "horny rascal" that he was :p), was when it came to metering out punishment/s.

Or? Perhaps it was God showing me what it was like for an honest farmer to fall prey in "the usery trap!"

Me? I'll choose God! EVERY time!

YES PS, And if you look at all of my words that is what I have been saying!

We once kept the law with our minds and from fear, now those of who Love His Laws do so because they have been written in our hearts and we find them lovely. Perhaps those who fight the notion of good works are those who have yet to have them written on their hearts.

Do you agree?

Col 4:6 KJV Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Tit 3:1-2 KJV Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, (2) To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

No it is Faith that is of HIM which when acted upon through HIM reveals faith in HIM.

Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, ( a New creation in Christ Jesus, the Body of Christ, the Temple of GOD) that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness THE ENGRAFTED WORD (Christ, His Law, the Word in our hearts, mouths and minds), which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word (in the heart, mind and mouth), and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word (engrafted word, through Christ in the heart, mind and mouth), and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face (first fruits of HIS creatures begotten through the word of truth) in a glass: For he beholdeth himself ( the new man in Christ Jesus), and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty (the ENGRAFTED WORD through Christ in the heart, mind and mouth), and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
(Jas 1:16-25 KJV)

For Christ ( the word In our heart and mouth) is the end of the law ( the word, the Book of the Law, that on parchment and tables of stone) for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ (the word) down from above: ) Or, Who shall descend into the deep?

(Rom 10:4-8; Col 1:27; Heb 8:10-12 KJV)

The engrafted word, the law through Christ in the heart is the faith in which we speak.

I take it you mean "love your neighbour" and the other commandments Jesus gave us in the Sermon on the Mount and not the 613 Mitzvot Laws?

EG you have a sharp tongue.

Peoples eternity is at stake, so yes, I am going to tell it how it is.

I am not like the movement that everyone is saved. Lets all be happy people. Thats a lie.

I am sorry, But as scrtipture says, the truth hurts, it cuts deep. And I am not ashamed of it.

Good point, many of the Mitzvot laws were written down from observations of men who had surrendered to God and had become Loving dedicated to God and their fellow man and so they, the religious leaders, thinking so much of their good works "legislated" their works into what became the Mitzvot! Not the right way to go about it!

Just like the quote where John Adams said our Constitutional form of a Republic govornment can only be sustained by God fearing Christian people whose hearts are dominated by the love of God and Neighbor! Otherwise, like the Mitzvot, we have to legislate our people into morality which is as we are seeing; impossible.

Here are a few scriptures that tell us WE are the ones who need to have faith in God.

”And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.” Mark 11:22

Jesus answered, "The work God wants you to do is this: to believe in the one he sent."
(Joh 6:29)

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mar 16:16)

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mar 1:15)

Now, have you got any scriptures that say God imparts this necessary faith on the unbeliever?

Banned Serpent Seed Heresy

Instead of kicking the dust off the feet and letting them go? For it is not the soul/s themselves, I am kicking! It is the adversary/ies themselves, I am kicking! What this does is cause a soul, or should cause a soul in recognizing how infiltrated, to the point of unrecognizabilty they have become!
For some? It is a "thing" they haven't come to grips with. And that's ok! But, to the ones' that willingly turn a blind eye to it? And, teach that's it alright if they WILLINGLY turn a blind eye to it?
NAH! NOPE! Homey don't play that crap! Neither does God!
I been fighting this "unseen" war, long before I ever realized their was "such a critter" as an "unseen war!"

And, this is the "perfect venue" (cheaper too, then plane tickets :p) in waging such unseen warfare!
In essence? Using the "beast's" attributes such as this thing called internet, in "getting the word out!"

It is not so much the "deluded" ones! It's the ones' that are not yet deluded! Showing by my witness and testimony, that: "If one is, or has been discouraged, or endured persecution, or been chastised, or pummeled, by their peers, because they have come to a point in their spiritual growth/perfection/maturation, where they start asking: Is that ALL there is, TO this Spiritual pilgrimage?"

The simple answer is no!
Yet? Being simple does not mean easy!
