I hope your deeds are fit for the light. Hopefully you are doing anything behind closed doors;)That we cant see;)
My deeds are not and cannot be hidden from Christ and it is He with whom I must give account. Until you know Jesus as your personal Savior what you do is of no consequence for all men have been condemned by sin. Jesus said we are judged already if we are not saved we are lost.

According to OSAS teachings I am still your sister. Once a seal, always a seal. So why are you preaching to me, when I was sealed with the holy spirit 7 years ago on that special day.

It’s not about love must be displayed in action in order to become saved but WILL be displayed in action if we truly are saved. (Romans 5:5; 1 John 4:7) Also, we are saved FOR good works and NOT BY good works. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
Remember loving God is a salvation issue. If we dont love him we won't keep his commandments. Hebrews 5:9 Eternal Salvation is for those who OBEY.

Have you changed your viewpoint since the other day, when you had said your bad behavior [ongoingly] followed that point in time? Just wondering... [I thought that was what eventually convinced you that NOSAS was the correct biblical stance to embrace (note to readers: I believe in eternal security)]

Time for me to go to go to bed soon, I think I stirred up enough trouble tonight:). But I want to lead people to the truth, even if they reject me. They might be trying to get me to salvation, but God has a plan for them. They may be led to the truth without knowing it. Good night;)

^ EDIT to add: ... perhaps it is not your "ongoing bad behavior" that you did years back (or whenever) that that other poster is addressing (or, as you put it, "preaching to [you]" [about] ;) )

Anyway, have a good night. :)

Was Judas saved? Luk 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Judas was included in those that had been sent out and returned unto Jesus. Jesus told them all that their names were written down in Heaven. Judas backslid; after the betrayal of Jesus he went out and hang himself. Did he have eternal security?
You err in your comments about Luke 10:20. This was NOT the Apostles. Start at verse one in the chapter and see the context and audience. Judas was never saved.

(1) The choosing of the 72 (10:1-16).
10:1-12. Jesus gave instructions to the 72. Some Greek manuscripts in verses 1 and 17 have “70” and others have “72.” Both readings have strong support. The 72 were people other than the Twelve, who apparently remained with Jesus on His journey. The 72 were to prepare the way so that when Jesus came into a town, it would be ready for Him. When Jesus stated, Ask the Lord… to send out workers, He implied that the ones asking were also to be workers (v. 2). Their mission was dangerous (v. 3) and required haste (v. 4). The 72 were supported by those who accepted their message (v. 7). Through hospitality people would show whether or not they believed the message of the kingdom. To the believing cities the message was to be, The kingdom of God is near you. The Messiah was coming, and He could bring in the kingdom. Even the cities that rejected the message were to be told that the kingdom was near.

No I haven't changed my mind. I will never follow OSAS Eternal security gospel ever again. I am 100% sure of that because it did nothing for my life. Nor did it free me from my sinful lifestyle. So I was looking for something else that would rescue me from my sinful state and I found the truth. We need to Obey God. Otherwise sin will destroy our lives. I have seen the affects of sin on my life and in the lives of other around me. "SIN" is not taken seriously in OSAS. It's taken lightly. But I have seen the destruction it causes. One sin leads to another, and continues like a domino effect.

One day you may see how bad sin can destroy your life and your familie's lives.

I believe the Bible is clear enough on this issue.

"If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us" 2 Timothy 2:12 KJV

What part of this Verse do you not understand? I myself am 100 %ly sure that salvation loss is possible.
I agree 100% .. how can one deny God and still be with Him in Heaven for eternity .. doesn't even make sense, does it .. God will not force anyone to come to Him or to stay with Him .. He allows us to choose to come to Him and hopes we shall choose that and He allows those with Him to choose to stay with Him or to leave Him and hopes all with Him will choose to stay .. if God forced people to come to Him and stay with Him, Heaven would be a prison in which all there would be locked in and not able to leave .. what kind of Heaven is that .. if we choose to live in unrepentant sin, we choose to die as sin brings death, and we choose the lake of fire for all eternity .. if we sin but choose to genuinely repent and God reads hearts so knows, we restore the life sin takes away and we choose to return to God and to doing His Will, not ours, for eternal happiness .. Christ died to grant us the "free" gift of salvation but as with any gift, the gift of salvation must be accepted and used not abused and kept not discarded or lost .. Christ offered the gift to ALL but each must choose what to do about His offer .. He will allow us our choice and our choice is our consequence as well ..

Correct. Verse 1 says as much. (y)

Remember loving God is a salvation issue. If we dont love him we won't keep his commandments. Hebrews 5:9 Eternal Salvation is for those who OBEY.
I often hear works-salvationists misinterpret these passages of scripture in order to support salvation by works. 1 John 4:7 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

1 John 2:3 - By this we know that we have come to know Him, (already know Him/demonstrative evidence) if we keep (Greek word “tereo” - guard, observe, watch over) His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Hebrews 5:9 is another favorite verse of works-salvationists who use it to teach "salvation by faith + obedience/works" by writing a blank check with the word "obey" then filling out whatever amount of works they feel are necessary to obtain eternal life.

In Hebrews 5:9, who obeys Him? The saved or the lost? *Only believers have obeyed Him by choosing to believe the gospel (Romans 1:16) in order to become saved, and only believers obey Him after they have been saved through faith by "keeping" (Greek word "tereo" - guarding, observing, watching over) His commandments and practicing righteousness and not sin (1 John 2:3; 3:9,10). *In either sense, only believers obey Him.

Unbelievers have not obeyed Him by refusing to believe the gospel (Romans 10:16; 1:16) and without faith its impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6), so unbelievers do not obey Him no matter how much "so called" obedience that they attempt to conjure up through the flesh in a vain effort to obtain salvation by works. *So in either sense, unbelievers do not obey Him.

The word used in the verse is "we [plural]" (and "us [plural]"). I think that is important to note, here.

At any given moment when you might commit a sin (I mean, when you do commit a sin), are you at that moment "obeying"?

I don't recall who sarcastically questioned "eternal life is not eternal life? - good to know" (paraphrased his/her wording) .. first: there is eternal life and eternal death .. both are choices each of us make .. God knows what He wants but will not choose for us .. if one lives according to God's Word and Will, one is choosing eternal life and will have it, so for that one "eternal life IS eternal life" .. if, however, one chooses to live in unrepentant sin, such brings death, not life, so one is choosing eternal death and will have it, so for that one eternal life IS NOT eternal life as that one chose to reject eternal life with God by choosing to sin and not repent aka turn back to God and to His Word and Will ..
