I disagree, here. :)

In both Ephesians 2:5 and 2:8, regarding the word "saved," these are in the "perfect tense":

Ephesians 2:5 [ylt] -

"even being dead in the trespasses, did make us to live together with the Christ, (by grace ye are having been saved [perfect participle],)"

Ephesians 2:5 [bsb] -

"made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved [perfect participle]!"

Ephesians 2:8 [ylt] -

"for by grace ye are having been saved [perfect participle], through faith, and this not of you -- of God the gift"

Ephesians 2:8 [bsb] -

"For it is by grace you have been saved [perfect participle] through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,"

Ephesians 2:5 V-RPM/P-NMP
GRK: χάριτί ἐστε σεσωσμένοι
NAS: (by grace you have been saved),
KJV: (by grace ye are saved;)
INT: by grace you are saved

Ephesians 2:8 V-RPM/P-NMP
GRK: χάριτί ἐστε σεσωσμένοι διὰ πίστεως
NAS: For by grace you have been saved through
KJV: by grace are ye saved through faith;
INT: by grace you are saved through faith

[(quoting from Greek grammar source) "Perfect - Completed, with Results - Time Element (In Indicative Mood): past, with present results"]
I agree.....it is biblically ignorant to say we are not saved yet when NUMEROUS VERSES GRAMMATICALLY state otherwise...even DAVID spoke of his salvation in the present tense!!

Ok,feelings get hurt.
It happens to everyone.

Look at the forum from a distance for a moment.
Take "the helicopter ride"
Ask yourself what is my relationship to this ministry/fellowship?

I see it 3 ways.
1) personal fellowship with others. Some here interact with each other, back slapping etc. (i have almost zero, but not concerned about it).
2) a voice. A voice in a unique opportunity to air out what you believe. (You will guide almost nobody because most participants are dead set in their beliefs. So,at that point,it becomes "proving", [where they prove your point valid unbeknownst to themselves],or seeing challenges change your own view).
3) ministry at the family or prayer section. Go help some hurting people and see miracles happen to them.
Just keep in mind cessationists are also stalking in there to undo any power God uses you in.

...but none of us are saved yet!...
In which case we should all throw up our hands and say "WE ARE OF ALL MEN MOST MISERABLE".

But Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners, and to give assurance to the children of God that they are saved purely by grace and not of themselves. The grace of God is a stumbling block to many.

"If only in this life we are having hope in Christ, we are more to be pitied than all men. " I guess is the verse you were thinking of....but how does that argue against what I said? I have hope of the resurrection, which is what this is talking about.

Those who have hope of the resurrection have present assurance of salvation.

Not for any merits of their own, put purely on the merits of Christ and the amazing grace of God.

Thank you! Time spent seeking the way of God and time in the word, led by the Holy Spirit has shown me my error in this thread! If God moves I will move also under the leadership of the Holy Spirit! 🙏🙏🙏

Many misunderstandings stem from a lack of knowledge in respect to ceremonial laws and their usage. It divides believers from those who believe not (no faith) those like in Hebrew 6. Those who taste and see, walking by sight, taste and taste,(filled) taste and taste see over and over as if one demonstration was not enough . . Holding on to ceremonial laws as shadows a false way to confirm . Not walking by the faith as a continual work of Christ in us working to both will and do his good pleasure .

Putting their hope as a faith coming from the things seen (cerinimoinal law = dead works )

John 4:48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

Hebrews 6 King James Version (KJV)Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Building a faith on what the eyes see, the temporal .

2 Corinthians 4:18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Interestingly right after we are given the tools to help understand the two groups in Hebrew 6 it is followed with better things accompany those who are not trusting in the things seen to confirm a hope not seen.

The confirmation of His Spirit witnesses to ours... the peace of God that surpasses our understanding.. One filling of His Spirit that works in us daily....at the first hearing of faith at our new birth . Not weekly.

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.Heberew 6:9-10

Once upon a time there was a man called John the baptist people thought he was just a voice crying in the wilderness...but it really got peoples attention. Some wolves came but he just told the pharisees that no they couldnt be baptised cos they hadnt repented, thats all. Everyone else who had repented was sloshed and saved cos they believed in Jesus. John the baptist then got beheaded, and jesus was crucified. But it all turned out good in the end if you look in the book of Revelation.

SPOILER And they lived happily ever after with Him ...for eternity.

Two things in their proper order. The baptism of John a Levi introduced when a new priest had a desire to become a member of the priesthood as a cerimoninil law using water (a shadow). And then as a priest preached the baptism of repentance. The preaching of the gospel (not a ceremonial law ) .

Some who believe in the idea of a "sign gift" they have made it all one thing

John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.Mark 1:4

I don't purport to speak for God.
Are you speaking for God?
If i am not, i should probably keep silent

1 Peter 4:10-11
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Well, all that ceased with the death of the apostles (God's appointees). They were specifically appointed by God to do that and those they appointed to help them.

Jer 31:
33“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.

34No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest
,”
