What do y'all think of Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA)? He is 40 yrs old, a Christian (Protestant), has an impressive military record, and just announced he's running for president.
None of those things matter when the person's chosen party (Democrat) is 100% amoral. The DNC supports illegal aliens, forced redistribution of wealth in the form of theft through taxes, abortion on demand at any time in the pregnancy, homosexuality, identity politics, the list is endless. A person who claims to be a Christian cannot support any person who runs on the Democrat ticket without supporting all of the above amoral positions by default.

Wifully blind. Why would a Christian be within the evil Democrat party?

I’m not from the US but you would be better to pray about it and ask
God who to vote for.

By the way God can use ungodly people to bring about his plans.
Look at Cyrus in the bible.
That’s what Christian leaders that are not only supporting Trump but discipling him, call him.

Voting "none of the above" is to rise to the heroic level of COMPLETE INACTION... while trying to make it sound virtuous.

But it's a free country.
People who don't vote are still free to have their own opinions... for now.

...
The USA is unfortunately a two-party state, if we are realistic. Not voting for either is a statement in and of itself. Unfortunately, it also has the side effect of allowing less people to dictate the direction the country goes in. IMO the USA needs to embrace independent candidates more, rather than voting either Democrat or Republican just because of not wanting the "other side" to get in power.

The elephants and donkeys have it locked up, only if there was a independent or third party that could get the 5% votes to get the funds needed to make a charge, that might shake up the stranglehold those two dem party’s have on elections but until then they have it locked up.

It will stop when people actually start voting for the independents and third party’s.

So in light of what the OP mentioned maybe it’s time to vote other than repub or democ just to get the ball rolling on more choices and put a little fear in the main party’s.

Any party or person running for pres office has to have at least 5% of the votes from previous elections to get that major funding needed to make a charge. So it’s really not all their fault we are to blame as well.

I say if you don’t like either democ or repub, vote for a party to give them a chance at that 5%. at least if they do get to 5%,, In 2024 there will be three who have access to public funding. But there’s hasn’t been a scenario like that since 1943

Public funding is not an issue because it is very little of the money needed.
Sad fact is that in most cases, the one with the most money wins.
The average voter relies on political adds and propaganda because they are to lazy to search for them self.

In my opinion, we have come to this point in our country because people continued to vote for the lesser of two evils time and time again instead of saying enough is enough.
It is time to stand up and say NO, none of these disgusting people will get my vote.
That's a good rational thought, unfortunately, whether you vote or not, one of those people on the ballot will come out the winner in the end. So pray a lot, study the facts, and figure out which is closer to what you want. I did vote for Trump, and will again. I have never been a fan of his, and was disgusted when I looked at our 2016 prospects. Of course he's corrupt, he's full of himself, he doesn't know when to shut his big yap, he's rude, crude, and a bully. But he has chosen some Godly people to counsel with him, he does allow daily prayer in the capital. He has taken a "Christian view" toward abortion, immigration, and many other "moral" issues. And in the past, he has shown that he really truly loves this country and wants the best for it. I don't see much of that in any of the others. PRAY and do what God would have you do.

a fact the one with the most money wins, that statement didn’t live up to a fact in the last election.
Clinton raised 700 mil while trump raised 400mil neither took public funding because if so they would have to limit what they spend in each state. here’s some of those limits.

Presidential candidates also must agree to:

Public funding for major party presidential nominees in the general election takes the form of a grant of $20 million plus the COLA. To be eligible to receive public funds, the presidential nominee of a major party must agree to limit spending to the amount of the grant and may not accept private contributions for the campaign. Candidates may spend an additional $50,000 from their own personal funds, which does not count against the expenditure limit. In 1976, each major party nominee received $21.8 million. By 2008 (the last year a major party candidate chose to accept a general election grant), that amount had grown to $84.1 million. (In 2016, the general election grant would have been $96.14 million.)

Minor party candidates and new party candidates may become eligible for partial public funding of their general election campaigns. A minor party candidate is the nominee of a party whose candidate received between five and 25 percent of the total popular vote in the preceding presidential election. The amount of public funding to which a minor party candidate is entitled is based on the ratio of the party's popular vote in the preceding presidential election to the average popular vote of the two major party candidates in that election. A new party candidate receives partial public funding after the election if he or she receives five percent or more of the vote. The entitlement is based on the ratio of the new party candidate's popular vote in the current election to the average popular vote of the two major party candidates in the election.

there are a few rules that hurt a third party chance at being pres.
Got to have at least 5,000 dollars contributors in at least 20 states, get at least 5% of the popular vote.

But the biggest hurdle isn’t much about money but it is the 15% mark to enter the national debate stage.

candidates face extra-high hurdles to being taken seriously by voters. They have to spend heavily in many states to simply get on the ballot, and the media rarely gives them any attention.

That’s why there’s only one number that matters: 15 percent. That’s the threshold set by the Commission on Presidential Debates. To participate in the debates, candidates need “support of at least 15 percent of the national electorate as determined by five selected national public opinion polling organizations, using the average of those organizations' most recently publicly reported results at the time of the determination.”

The thought of Clinton being president makes me sick. Who really knows what she would have accomplished in a negative sense.
While I will agree that Trump has done a few positive things, I believe that Trumps main love is for himself and all he does is for his benefit and if others benefit that is great but is not why he did it.

But from a positive view, if Trump would have lost, I believe that the Reps would be more selective in who they nominated in 2020.

I am so thankful Clinton lost, but still wish we had a better choice.

He has hood winked evangelicals, while I am not American for a short time I almost believed he was for real.

He panders for votes and he is not a miracle.

In 2016 I refused to vote for Hillary or Trump. Neither were worthy of my vote.
I am glad Hillary lost but do not see Trump as the "Christian" savior of our nation that many do.
While Trump has done a few, very few, things I approve of, I see him as a very vile, self centered man.
I see nothing to cause me to believe He is a Christian.

Don't see any one running yet that I deserves my vote. Hope that changes. Hope we have a better choice.
Check out Andrew Yang. If I could vote over there he would have my vote.
He is bringing to the table an unprecedented level of good Common Sense, a superpower these days, plus his Humanity First campaign it's a first in the last 50 Corporate First years.
If not him Bernie Sanders, both men have forgiveness at their core, be it of debt or of petty crimes that are keeping young people in jail for profit.
I like that a lot.

If you don't know how China's social media score works you NEED to investigate. Yang is actually one of the worst choices, although all dems are bad so it's hard to choose who is worse:

Democratic 2020 Candidate Wants Government-Sponsored ‘Social Credit’ System Comparable To China’s
New York entrepreneur and Democratic 2020 candidate Andrew Yang wants to implement a system in which a government-run mobile app rewards Americans with “digital social credits” (DSCs) for good behavior.

Americans would receive DSCs under Yang’s system for things such as “participating in a town fair,” “fixing a neighbor’s appliance” or “tutoring a student,” his presidential campaign website explains.

“As individuals rack up DSCs, they would have both a permanent balance they’ve earned over their lifetime and a current balance. They could cash the points in for experiences, purchases with participating vendors, support for causes, and transfer points to others for special occasions,” Yang states on his website. “As their permanent balance gets higher, they might qualify for various perks like throwing a pitch at a local ballgame, an audience with their local Congressperson or meeting their state’s most civic-minded athlete or celebrity.”

“The most socially detached would be the most likely to ignore all of this,” he added. “But many people love rewards and feeling valued.”

Yang’s social credit plan bears some similarities to the social credit system implemented by China’s authoritarian government.

Every citizen in China is assigned a social credit score that determines whether they can buy plane or train tickets.

Yeah... Now that I think about it, Bernie Sanders is at least just as big of a joke:

Study: Bernie Sanders’ ‘Medicare for All’ Plan Costs $32 Trillion
Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) “Medicare for all” government-run healthcare scheme will cost $32 trillion over the next 10 years and would require “historic” tax increases to pay for it, according to a new study released on Monday.
The Mercatus Center at George Mason University analyzed a proposal from Sanders’ socialized medicine plan and found that it will cost $32 trillion over the next ten years.

Charles Blahous, the study author, said, “Enacting something like ‘Medicare for all’ would be a transformative change in the size of the federal government.”

Bernie Sanders’s ‘Green New Deal’: A $16 Trillion Climate Plan
WASHINGTON — Senator Bernie Sanders on Thursday released a $16.3 trillion blueprint to fight climate change, the latest and most expensive proposal from the field of Democratic presidential candidates aimed at reining in planet-warming greenhouse gases.

Mr. Sanders unveiled his proposal one day after Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington, who made climate change the central focus of his campaign, announced he was dropping out of the 2020 race. Mr. Inslee’s absence could create an opening for another presidential aspirant to seize the mantle of “climate candidate.”

Mr. Sanders was an early supporter of the Green New Deal, an ambitious but nonbinding congressional plan for tackling global warming and economic inequality. He is bestowing that same name upon his new plan, which calls for the United States to eliminate fossil fuel use by 2050.
It declares climate change a national emergency; envisions building new solar, wind and geothermal power sources across the country; and commits $200 billion to help poor nations cope with climate change.

Thank God you do not see Trump as the "christian savior", we have only ONE SAVER, OUR LORD JESUS! And thanks beyond to Him He raises up both the saved and the saved and the unsaved to carry out His will and purpose. With that said, I know President Trump's as well as yours (or the heart of any human).... only God knows who is saved and not....

I have over 100,000 (not to many zeros) in student loan debt, I hate working; I would LOVE for YOUR TAX DOLLARS to pay off my debt and support me. Yet, I still want to be able to live the life I am accustomed to....

Since I know the "new" democratic party CAN NOT/ WILL NOT let me keep all the freedom I enjoy as an American, especially religious freedom (just look that up about Trump)...

I MUST VOTE FOR TRUMP 2020!!!!

It's the movie 'Live Free or Die Heard'....

I should Patton that for President Trump....LOL, LOL, LOL......

Probably FUNNY in my OWN MIND....LOL...LOL...
