If Christ Doesn’t Know when He’s returning How Can The Church escape the 7 Year Great Tribulation?
 
God alone knows when He is sending His Son back to collect His bride. He also has a desire that none should perish but that all come to repentance. Jesus said that if the days weren't shortened even the elect might not make it. Also that there would be trials,persecutions and sufferings to purify us and make us fit for the kingdom. For NO sin shall inherit the kingdom of God. I do not know whether we,the bride will go through the tribulation or not. I DO know we will not go through God's wrath! That is the cup Jesus drank from at His death,for the sins of the world hung on Him at the cross. I pray for ALL of us to have His strength,His comfort,His love,and His power to overcome at ANY testing that we might face! Blessing!................. In case I haven't welcome to cc.

When he decides to remove the church from this Earth, then it begins. When ever he decides to do it.
I will give an example. I like to shoot black powder pistols. I know that that black powder will ignite, and the ball will go down range to the target, when I pull the trigger. What I don't know is when I will pull the trigger. I will do it when the time is right. I may even place my finger on the trigger and begin to squeeze, and back off. I may even lay the pistol down and walk away for a minute. I never know until I squeeze the trigger and hear the snap of the sear. Once that sear snaps there is only hold steady because all the rest is happening.

Not true. wishful thinking.
The whole world will suffer the tribulation and the consequences of nuclear war …
the chaff will burn [poor Joel Osteen and his mansion] and the wheat will survive.
Then when the last trump shall sound the dead in Christ shall rise up and we who are left alive shall be transformed in the
twinkling of an eye and forever be with the Lord (the bridegroom) - the marriage feast.
Then with the Lord Jesus and his holy angels we shall enter into what remains of Jerusalem.
 
What sign is given to the world that Great Tribulation has begun because scriptures confirm afterwards Christ then returns. Who or what initiates that 7 year period to say it has begun to rapture up the church?
 
[re: the OP] He said, "but of that day and hour knows [perfect tense] no man [not even Jesus]"... But "perfect tense" is not suggesting no one would EVER know (or CAN ever know)... Jesus (well after His ascension/exaltation) in 95ad (in "[The] Revelation") disclosed further information on THIS Subject.

IOW, He knows and has disclosed further info regarding this (the Subject of those particular statements). ;)

I was answering the question rhetorically. Not for accuracy with prophecy. I am no scholar on end time prophecy. I guess I should have made that clear first.

There is no 7 year period of the great tribulation.
We are in the last of days and anyone that pays some attention to what is happening in the world can see Bible prophecy
unfolding on the news.
Strait of Hormuz and Iran (Persia). Israel's continued belligerence against Persia.
The rise of powerful nuclear armed nations that God will use to punish and burn a wilfully wayward Christian West that has
departed from their God and Saviour.
Rumours of wars > but finally war > worldwide war wherein all the elements shall melt and the sky shall be on fire.
And then there is Yellowstone, the San Andreas fault and the pacific rim of fire …
