Obedience is righteousness, righteousness is salvation, salvation is not natural.

Neither is a talking donkey, or a whale swallowing a human, or an immaculate birth, or a voice coming from a burning bush, but they still happened.

Salvation IS natural. It's natural to want to be saved from our sins so we don't end up in hell. :)

If it is natural then Christ did not die for our sins.

What you deem within yourself as love, I see quite clearly as contempt. If I am wrong about this, others will let me know, as will God through prayer.
I wish I knew you truly to know how to feel towards you.
A very sarcastic big mouthed individual who loves to push others around.

And you deem to be able to see my heart over all your language and behaviour?
Do you know what a pure heart is?

I do not think so, based on your current stance.
Certainly you are showing me contempt, but God bless you, I do not see more than this
praise be to the Lord, or I would probably not respond appropriately or even know what
to say. Dear Lord, help this confused, aggressive individual find love and grounding in
your love and word, in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Whats not natural is thinking you can be saved and not need to do anything to pay for your own mistakes.

Thats why it is almost impossible for many to believe in grace through faith.

Right there you have it folks......and exactly why we believe you peddle that which is false Petey.....
Has he ever said what a baby needs to do to be born?? I mean does the baby get up and walk out of the womb?

Or does he agree, it is the mother who births the child?

Salvation is impossible, the last thing a human heart wants to do, and so rare, because it makes
a sinner into saint and the Kingdom starts to reign in their hearts.

I have never known anything harder in life than this, or more costly but also more precious than gold.
Amen

What He went through is what isn't natural. No human man could take that sort of treatment. But He did it, even though it wasn't natural..

So are you say it's UNnatural for us to not want to be saved?

I can deal with heat for my stance and what I dish out....but targeting my two lost children to disease, my handicapped son and calling me the following names is way out of bounds....

You remind me of others, OH,who were they😏 I remember! Nazis, communist, liberals,,pharisees, witch burners, ect.ect.
Is this directed to oncefallen?

I can share my acceptance of Christ
Again you miss the Gospel, namely the work of God and being born again, "accepting Christ" is a generic term and I have no idea what that means, it is God that adopts us and regenerates us.... we come to Him on His terms.

Still no actual moment of spiritual rebirth mentioned
Yes there was a moment of being born from above.... it happened when I stopped my effort and trusted in Jesus and His work for salvation.

And here is described my moment of a new life upon hearing the true Gospel for the first time.

“You received the Spirit of adoption. And by him we cry…Father” (Romans 8:15 – literal translation).

Natural things require no effort, salvation requires effort.

Heb 4:3....
And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world. 4For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.”b 5And again, as He says in the passage above: “They shall never enter My rest.”

6Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience, 7God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”c

8For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 10For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. 11Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.

You should have clicked reply so we could seen who or what you were responding to. Were you responding to Jesus deserves all of the credit for our salvation? Or the pannel that I posted that was a direct quote from 1 Corinthians 2:14 or that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is real and changes people?

Or are you attacking those of us that oppose Calvinism or works based Salvation? Your not comming against me only if, I am who you were responding to, but the Apostle Paul, the Lords disciple to the gentiles as well.

And Jesus carries that weight.
He always has; He always will.
It was never a command then.

If God commands and then keeps the command on our behalf, then Adam shouldn't have sinned by willfully disobeying God and there would be no salvation also if Christ disobeyed the Father.
You are indirectly claiming that God did not keep or help Adam keep His command, the reason sin/death entered the world.

Salvation requires only faith and belief in Jesus. Once we do that, and accept Him, we are saved by HIS grace through OUR faith. Good works follow that, they are a natural by-product of salvation..
