Maybe you could help me with my particular dilemma PH.
What "is" it, when it is no longer "faith?"
When one "hears" the voice of God?
When one experiences a "love" so deep, strong and thorough, that it goes right through one? Making one know what is written concerning the "being as a dead man?" Which is a pretty "watered down" version (where one has trouble containing one's own bodily fluids, from just about every orifice), of that which actually transpires within one's own flesh body?
Is that still faith? Or? Is it something else?
If so?
What?
And, who would one be serving?
God?
The Father?
The Son?
All of the above?
None of the above?
Or? Would it be along lines something like this?
Revelation 20
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (?)
Or something like this?
John 3

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (?)

Is it STILL "Faith?"

Or, is it a curse?

1 Peter 2
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (?)

Isn't it odd, that some people will only answer questions they wish to answer, and simply "ignore" any questions the don't want to answer?
Yet, these same people DEMAND
an accounting for every SYLLABLE one states from someone who believes something different then they do?
Does this not SEEM odd?
To you?
To anyone?
IT SEEMS ODD AND NOT AT ALL CHRISTLIKE. DO YOU KNOW WHICH ONES THEY ARE? I THINK I MAY GO HUNT THEM DOWN THROUGH OUT THE THREAD. I THINK IF WE PUT THEM ALL TOGETHER WE WILL FIND OUT EXACTLY WHAT IS BEING KEPT IN THE DARK.

you know, you keep saying that I do not understand, don't see what you are saying , but I do.

you are just one of many judeaizers I have interacted with, you all teach Hebrew roots, none of you will admit it, but that is what it is.

you see, your whole theology is built on the false premise that the Law is in parts. it is not.

so, find me a translation that uses different greek words to separate these parts, not one word with a primary singular definition.

until then, keep blowing bubbles at the moon. because that is what Christians having to turn jewish to correctly severe God is.

This is where the deception, in my opinion, makes its mark. Its main effect is the stopping of Gods Works for fear of losing salvation. (AND who would want to stop those working for God????)

The very doctrine promotes oneself to question if "working" for God is ok or not. It becomes a paranoid "If I work, I don't believe in the gift as a gift, and if I am working for salvation and I am not letting God do it all (when if that is what He wanted we would just be robots that He filled with emotion and wisdom and knowledge, not our own entity free to love or not)

No matter what it serves to question WORKING for God and turns what is originally a love offering into something less precious and pure.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU NEED TO GO BY "THE LETTER" OF THE WORD, YOU DON'T SEEM TO UNDER STAND THE SPIRIT, OF ANY OF THE BOOK. HOW ALL THAT WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE OF GOD HAS NOT GIVEN YOU THE COMMON SENSE TO UNDERSTAND IS PUZZLING TO ME. IT IS ALL SO CRYSTAL CLEAR TO ME AND SO DARK AND CONFUSING FOR YOU, RIGHT?

Oh, that's right! It hasn't been abolished!
not one jot or tittle need be removed for the law to have no more authority over a dead man.
love as He loved; He laid down His life, to take it up again: no one takes it from Him. ;)

whoever loves others has fulfilled the law
(Romans 13:8)

When I get all your statements and my replies together and count them up, I will post them under this statement here. So we will bring a light to all that has been said and done and if it was indeed the leading of the Spirit of Christ or not.

Get yourself ready to say this 1000 times as they accuse in all their posts that you "can't have received the gift of salvation and still acknowledge the law' For some reason their brain just can't grasp such an out of this world concept.
How does keeping the law redeem you from your sins?

that is fine. the New Testament is written in greek. so, I will not toss out language in favor of opinions .

I have nothing against you, just the false premise you believe .

Better than on a foundation of NO LAW which I would think would make a man of lawlessness feel right at home. Might not even need to put any effort into his deception when he arrives as it may be already set. Prince of the power of the air. Man of lawlessness. NO LAW. He really, really must be thrilled at the progress. You know they still don't drink wine? Crazy loyal followers. Sorry, I digress What was it the judeaizers are doing wrong again?

this.

find anything in the Bible that ever, even once, talks about '
the law' as though there are bits of it to be separated from the rest as though they are different. find anywhere Paul ever talks about being under "part of the law but not all of it"

the closest you will come is Deuteronomy 4:13 --
He declared His covenant, even these ten commandments -- as tho the rest of Torah is different from this. but even if it is so, this is not the covenant Jeremiah 31 speaks of, because He speaks of a new covenant there. this is not the covenant Jesus speaks of at the last supper, because He speaks of a "new covenant" - and Hebrews 8 declares that by saying "new" He makes the old pass away. Deuteronomy 4:13 is what Galatians 4 and Genesis 16 call the covenant of slavery, and clearly teach that it is not the covenant the saints are grafted into, nor the Jews redeemed from.

does the scripture ever speak of '
partial obedience to the law' ?
yeah, i think it does. and i think it says, you are guilty as though breaking all of it, and whoever teaches to disobey the least of the law is called the least in the kingdom. what is lease? blood sacrifices? stoning the sabbath breaker to death? those are the things people call least; those are the jots and tittles first removed by the ones who think the law can be broken and simultaneously whole.

we died.
that is the escape and salvation: we have died, and our life is hid in Him. Colossians 3:3. so set your minds on things above, not earthly things -- the reality is a complete paradigm shift!!

Oh my God, have you not been following this post? The Blood of Christ was shed for the forgiveness of sins. I am sorry people just keep bringing us stuff that isn't said yet posing it as a question. Crazy huh?

1 Corinthians 9:20-21. not under 'the law' but not lawless, but under the law of Christ.

'no law' is untrue.
'under the law of Moses' is untrue.

the law found in Torah is not the only possible law; you know that: you know sacrifices are not required of you. you know that tithes to the Levites are not required of you. you know that your hand throwing stones at lawbreakers until they die is not required of you. so you know that the law you see there is not equal to the perfect law of God; you know that it is a shadow of the good thing to be revealed, which has been revealed, which is Christ.

you know God didn't make us lawless when He set us free -- you know He is perfect in all of His ways :)

So why don't you put your trust in Jesus? The law is not going to save you.

2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament not of the letter, but of the spirit for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Who follows the letter that killeth? Who follows the Spirit that gives life? You need that letter explanation. I don't.

What are you making such a vile accusation against me? Why do YOU INSINUATE I believe that? How can the spirit within you allow that when you know it is a lie? That is how your "spirit" is leading you? I am not feeling the love. I am feeling false accusations because I have defended this before with you so you OWN THE TRUTH. YOU CHOOSE TO do what you do right now.

Yes I absolutely do know that one old covenant went out and a new one came in. IF ONLY everyone could see that.

ah, but you do.

the fruits of the Sprit are the way . against such there is no Law.

in the Fruits , no Sabbath.

so, no Sabbath keeping required for Christ followers.

Way to give Christians a bad name. Wonder how many read these and think "I want to be just like them" Cant you just feel the fruit of their spirit. I tell you, yes we can. It isn't pretty, It isn't edible the way it is presented.
