I do not know if this verse say not every thing Jesus teaching are not documented.

I believe not everything Jesus did was documented, for example, what time Jesus eat, drink, etc, but what is the principal of Jesus teaching was.

And the basic teaching of Jesus is well documented, it is more than enough to know how to save.

After that, yes Jesus talk to Paul on the way to persecute Christian, etc, in Muslim country, some time Jesus talk to Muslim to accept Him. But the basic teaching of salvation was done.
I think first John was written well after Jesus was done walking the Earth. It sounds to me that some things were talked about as heard, rather than written. Although of course, the writer might just be saying heard as in gaining information in some fashion, possibly from a written document.

But there was a long time when the church as a whole have not settled on what documents were scripture.

Generally speaking, what had Muslims heard about Jesus in 1964?
It doesn't matter if Muslim heard about Jesus or not but Muslim not worship abraham god.

Like I say you confuse between people that never heard about Jesus and whether Muslim worship abraham God or not,

Muslim regardless ever heard about Jesus or not, not worship abraham god

I'm not really sure if you're following my line of reasoning here or not, Jackson.

So let's recap.
We talked about whether Jews adore Abraham God. Serious religious observant Jews. I believe we agreed that yes, Jews do adore Abraham God.

Then we talked about whether the Abraham God is a trinity. I believe we agreed that yes, the Abraham God is a trinity.

Then we talked about whether Jews say God is a trinity or not. At this point, maybe it's good to clarify that we are talking about what the Jews themselves say, not what their scriptures say. And I believe we agreed that Jews say that Abraham God is not a trinity.

So we have a very interesting situation. Jews believe in Abraham God, but they deny very important things about Abraham God. But their denial of this important thing doesn't mean they are no longer adoring Abraham God. Would you agree with that?

This brings us to the Muslims. Would you say that day acknowledge the Creator? That is, that they say that there is a single God who created everything. I would say yes, that Muslims acknowledge the Creator God. Do they adore that Creator God? Again I would say yes. Would you agree with this so far?

Do they say that the Creator God is Abraham God? I think they do. Would you agree that they do?

Do Muslims say that the Creator God is a trinity? No, I think they say the Creator God is not a trinity.

And I think they say that the Abraham God, the Creator God, is not a trinity.

By the way, maybe it's a good thing to ask at this time
So you believe if Abraham God is a trinity?

So how is it that Jews deny Abraham God is a trinity, but people still say they worship the same God.

But when Muslims say that Abraham God is not a trinity, then people say that Muslims adore a different God?

John is talking about what the recipients of his letter had heard.

1 John 2: 24. Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.

Yes, it is easy to lie.
I'm thankful we have the holy Spirit!
John 16: 13. However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

Hindu worship what they think creator, I believe Hindu think they god is all people in the world god, include abraham.

Is that make Hindu worship abraham god?

Not all Hindus have the same belief about God. But if a Hindu believes there is just one God that sometimes displays himself as other gods, then yes I would say that is Abraham God.

Now of course, that Hindu is probably wrong about very many things about God.

If not why?
I don't think 1st John says it is written by someone named John.

Church Tradition says that it is written by the apostle John.

So you believe that teaching about purgatory is not lie, teaching about pray to Mary is not lie.

Than may be we have 2 different Holy Spirit

This came to mind after reading your post
Revelation 14: 6. I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
And?

Maybe that goes along with this

"Listen to my words, my son Seth. When God had created me out of the earth, along with Eve, your mother, I went about with her in a glory which she had seen in the aeon from which we had come forth. She taught me a word of knowledge of the eternal God. "

Only One source of faith as in all things written in the law and prophets(sola scriptura) Not the law of the Catholic father as oral tradition of sinful men Not some old testament queen of heaven that was named Mary.Faith comes by hearing God not mankind.

We need the faith of Christ as that which comes from hearing God .Not from men dead in their trespasses and sins

We are warned in 1 John 2:27 q and 28 of the many antichrists which were already there . We are infallibly informed by God not the Pope as the promised teacher comforter teaches us we are to abide in Him .Pull out the Pope the wild card or what the call Holy father violating another commandment made to no effect the whole deck folds. Catholicism as those who lord it over the pew Catholic faith as they must seek the approval of God..Therefore in the end of the mater usurping the faith that does come from our unseen Holy Father.

Earthly church fathers that you offered . . . blasphemy making the word of God with out effect. The revelation which Adam taught his son Seth in the seven hundreth year, saying: When God had created me out of the earth, along with Eve, your mother, I went about with her in a glory which she had seen in the aeon from which we had come forth. She taught me a word of knowledge of the eternal God. And we resembled the great eternal angels, for we were higher than the god who had created us and the powers with him, whom we did not know.

These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.! john2:26-27

Well, if we say "Abraham God display Himself as God the Father, or Holy Spirit or Jesus. Other than that is not abraham's God", Then that means that Jews do not adore Abraham God. But we agreed earlier that the Jews do adore Abraham God. So we either have to say that Jews do adore Abraham God, and saying that Abraham God is not a trinity doesn't affect that, or we have to say that the Jews do not adore Abraham God.

This is where my belief comes from, that some Hindus adore Abraham God.
Romans 1: 19. because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them. 20. For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse.

God's everlasting power and divinity can be seen in creation. It makes sense to me then, that some people in cultures that have not heard of Jesus would still be aware of God's divinity, and adore it.

Yes, the book is traditionally called first John. And that's what your Bible calls it. That's a Christian tradition, a church tradition.

Yes, it is in line with overall teaching. But the question I asked was why a person I would say it was written by the apostle John.

Shall we accept everything that is in line with Bible teaching as scripture?

I think it's probably just as humans different parts of our personalities and fleshly nature sometimes get in the way of what the holy spirit is leading us to.
