You come here and state "works have no part in salvation" and then you write this......so contradictory.

Like I stated you reveal your true beliefs ...before I thought you were trying to straddle the two lanes of grace and works but now I know you are actually only in the "my performance saves me" lane.
Look at the 3 people who don’t know the difference between stating biblical aspects of regeneration, which is a work of God, and is EXPERIENCED, not done by us, (which is what I’m talking about,) and works salvation (which is not what I’m talking about and is a strawman among a vast scarecrow army). The scarecrows are marching on, harrumph, haruumpg...

Tell the lion and tin man and Dorothy and Toto I send my greetings.

The only kind of works we are saved by is the ones God did and does. Oh did you know there is a past, present and future aspect to salvation

No understanding on this in them. TRAGEDY

And he claims he does not teach works. :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
So in other words you cannot DISCERN when someone is talking about human works and the Divine work and aspects of REGENERATION? Don’t laugh too hard, because your lack of ability to follow a line of argumentation is TRAGIC, but funny📉

@eternally-grateful

@dcontroversal @UnderGrace

No rational answers, just strawmen, red herrings, and conflation of the works of man with the works of God

I was talking about aspects of regeneration, not human effort or works.

These replies aren’t really for you, they are for those who have to read your fallacious posts. Not attacking you, but your position.

I do not endorse anyone that I know very little of what they believe. Nevertheless, read nothing that he said that said Christ must die again. Let me condition my earlier post

A. How shall we who are dead to sin, continue therein

B. A. Christian May fall into sin, even a serious prolonged lapse, but a true convert will return, God knows how to preserve them

C our preservation is not based on our works. It is based on the work of God preserving us, through the power of God which includes the present and continual mediation of Christ on our behalf

@TooFastTurtle. Do you agree with these? If not all, which do you disagree with?

Let’s see how he answers

I posted a list of scriptures in reply to you yesterday. Did you get them

Addendum. Do you not yet realize i am not talking about conditions of justification, not are we speaking of grounds of preservation, but we are talking about the aspects of regeneration, the results of it, and that regeneration is a work of God that we experience, not a meritorious work that we do?

And that I also hold that regeneration is not of our works l, just as justification is not. And we are.not kept/preserved by our works/efforts, but the power of God and the continual mediation of Christ?

After I explained it a thousand times, do you still not get it? You don’t seem to hear what I’m saying?

I seen right through his drivel the first day he started peddling his street organ playing gospel with a dancing monkey for coin.....and he cannot be engaged with any kind of cognitive reasoning......his skewed view permeates every waking thought....
Ad hominems is all you have, because you have no argument. You’re so confused, you and EG and UG and the rest of the G’s can’t tell if someone is talking about conditions for salvation, or aspects and effects of regeneration.

Aparrently you think regeneration is something you did, because every time I talk about the results of it, which are all GOD WROUGHT, you say I am teaching works salvation

A. I am talking about the effects, aspects, and design of regeneration, which is a work of God

B. You say that I am talking works salvation

C. So apparently, you think regeneration is a work of man

It is you who is utterly devoid of cognitive reaoning, not I.

The Spirit is born of GOD, does not sin, is eternally sealed, justified and sanctified in Christ

The above is still bound in a fallen dead body of sin that is not subject unto the law of God, is weak and contrary to the Spirit....
It is indicative that you used the word bound. The logical conclusion of your argument is that the new nature is not only bound in but also bound by the body of sin

And absolute abuse of the term “body of sin”. When Paul uses body of sin, he is speaking of that which is put to death by the death of Christ, sin in the flesh. He did not put to death our physical bodies, He put to death the sin in our members.

And He did away with the body of sin, that is He made it powerless Romans 6:6. . And you use the body of sin to say what now? That we are lawbreakers in the flesh because we after all live in sinful flesh. For this is what you said in response to 1 Cor 6:9-11. Don’t say I am embellishing, because I am putting your quote in its context

Putting a dichotomy where our spirits are righteous even though we are habitual lawbreakers in the flesh reeks of Gnosticism. We do not sin because we live in sinful bodies. CHRIST HAS DEALT WITH THAT. We sin because we choose to sin. No temptation has taken you but... fill in the rest, pastor

Addendum. Not teaching perfection, I am refuting the concept that Christ’s death lacks the power to do what it was designed to do. Because if we still live in a world where sin in the flesh rules over us because we have no choice, then Christ’s death did not accomplish what Paul said it did in Romans 6:6. But that is not the case. We do not have sin in the flesh to blame any more, and our spirit is not clean when we habitually sin. That’s why cleansing is needed for maintained fellowship. If our Spirit was clean no matter what we do, we would not need to be cleansed to maintain unbroken fellowship. Our spirit would need no cleansing if DCs argument were true

DCs argument is precisely what John was arguing against in his first epistle. If we say we have no sin, ie even though my body sins, I have no sin. John says that is self deceiving. He also said that which is born of God does not practice sin. But guys like DC and Budman limit that to the Spirit new nature, and say that is not speaking of the body. So the body, in DCs position DOES practice sin, without effect to the inner man. This reeks of Gnosticism

You are relentless. It`s just inspiring :D
Well when you dogpiled by several people, you have a lot of posts to answer. It’s good that they’re not responding anymore because I just keep repeating myself, and they keep burning strawman.

I’m winding down now, that is as long as the strawman army is done.

I prefer security of the believer, as the term osas is abused by SOME anti lordship people. The type of “belief” some people teach is An intellectual acknowledgement and is not regenerative

Notice I said “some” twice. But someone will probably still fly off the handle. Every good doctrine can be abused in the wrong hands, so it is not overly amazing that I said osas can sometimes be abused
Security in CHRIST and OSAS mean the exact SAME THING. Most Anti-OSAS, DO NOT KNOW WHAT WE TEACH, NOR that OBEDIENCE IS PART OF LOVE. So in their IGNORANCE, they spew forth all kinds of FALSE INFORMATION, about us, and insist that it is real, BECAUSE their Favorite Teacher said so. NEVER EVEN REALIZING their Favorite teacher who they look up to, like he is a guru, DOES NOT KNOW A HILL OF BEANS ABOUT WHAT WE TEACH, TOO.

So, just because someone says in their IGNORANCE, "Oh so you believe you can sin all you want after you are Saved."; I refuse to change my Terms and their TRUE MEANING of OSAS, which I LOVE BECAUSE HE IS FAITHFUL, just because someone makes that Ignorant Statement.

2 Tim 1:9 {CSB}
He has saved us
and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

John 10:27 {CSB}
“My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.
John 10:28
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.

Philippians 1:6 {HCSB}
6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

I know what osas teaches,but I also know that some abuse it. Even the Bible says so. And I have heard people teach it just like I said. Not denying the doctrine, but you know it can be abused. If not, then you have not had the experiences with certain people I’ve had
