The top 20 richest Americans have $962,000,000,000 in combined saved assets...According to http://www.getnetworth.com/ the poorest has $15,000,000,000. If they all gave half of what they have. They would all still be multi, multi billionaires. as well as the money wouldn't stop coming in.

There's a revolution in the making. It's happened before, many times. People get sick of it and heads roll. Can't we reason together? Take my word; History repeats itself! The poor and working class will rise against the rich if something that reduces the rich vs working class financial wave dosn't happen soon. This is not a threat, it's a warning! It usually turns out bad for all. Goodnight.

A song by the Beach Boys:

"A diamond necklace played the pawn
Hand in hand while some drummed along,
To a handsome man and baton.

A blind class aristocracy
Back through the opera glass you see
The pit and the pendulum draw.

Columnated ruins domino.

Canvass the town and brush the backdrop
Are you sleeping
Brother John?

Surf's Up
Aboard a tidal wave
Come about hard and join
The young and often spring you gave.
I heard the word
Wonderful thing
A children's song

A child is the father of the man."

Really? It was allowed to work in the USSR, Cuba, and Venezuela, and proved itself to be DISASTROUS.

All so-called *Socialism* does is put the wealth of a country into the hands of a handful of thugs. Russia is presently ruled by the Mafiya. China is no different and the Triads work hand-in-hand with the thugs in government.
USSR and Cuba both improved under socialism. russia before was a monarchy with peasants, and cuba was a cheap slave labor camp for US industry. and most all of eastern europe improved under socialism. socialism is only gonna help places like nigeria where 90% of everyone is literally starving to death. socialism wouldnt fix anything in the US, when all your leaders are corrupt nothing is going to work.
your right about russia being ran by criminals but communism ended there 30 years back

the rich keep passing more and more wealth to their kids while the poor pass on next to nothing. as of now debt ends with death, im guessing it wont be much longer they are gonns change that so the debt can be passed to the surviving family. we will be selling ourselves into slavery just to give our children a chance to break free just like they were doing in rome in its final years.

I had to take out a personal loan to hire a lawer help me to get through escrow and recieve my inheritance before I received it. Then mortgage the property to pay off the loan. On top of that pay off the medical bills and funeral expenses. Out of pocket.

It got worse. I had to sell the property to pay off the mortgage. and barely broke even. I wound up with a Car and about $20,000 and lost a $145,00 home that had been paid for in full and a $70,000 savings account in the process. $20,000 lasted about a year. I went into clinical depression. I sold the car and moved to Vegas to start over. That's all folks. Their home and life savings were gone. No will, estate planning, or insurance. My life goes on.

socialism hasn't worked because it never has been allowed to. Many countries around the world practice socialism and it works well. everyone should have access to free water, sewage, education, health and dental at the very least. And a strong welfare system to look after the sick , elderly and those that simply cannot get a job for various reasons. Capitalism has failed
What socialist countries around the world are you referring to that are doing so well? Please compare these countries with our economy, our schools, our crime rate and our healthcare. Please educate me on what advantages socialism has over capitalism and how has capitalism failed?

Socialism will only work as long as the government can steal from those who have to give to those who have not.
When there is no more to steal the whole society will collapse.

I think you mean socialism has failed... Capitalism has been the only system to raise the standard of living across the globe.
And nothing is free.

Philippines and Nigeria are both capitalist and have more mass poverty than anywhere on the planet.

capitalism never raised living standards in the US. we had pure 100% capitalism circa 1900. 16 hr work days 6 days a week no safety in workplace, lost an arm you got fired, kids had to work, things like meat and eggs were luxuries for the rich. and it got worse until there was a threat of socialism, the rulers gave in, implimented the social programs the people wanted and the country reached its hight in prosperity. these programs started getting rolled back in the 70s and we been getting worse ever since.

You are confusing industrialization with capitalism.

Which one do you want to talk about?

All countries seemingly advance or regress. I don't see this as a good example. Also, I still see no examples of righteous socialism anywhere in the world, or the history of the world. What's the initiative for innovation or hard work in a socialist society? What do socialist countries invent or revolutionize? Remember that the American's have invented the plane, the car, the telegraph and phonograph, learned to harness electricity, and Al Gore even created the internet, all in about a century. Why? Because of freedom of the mind, to be inventive, only happens when society is not living under the oppression of a socialist/communist society.

Exactly, what exactly did Cuba invent to benefit humanity, very little if anything.

Yes I would like to know as well.
If your putting money and possessions above people then you have a very serious question to answer. Greed is not good. Aspirational thinking is toxic. Here in Australia in the 70s we had excellent social programs. It was the capitalist party that destroyed it all later. It is easier to thread a camel through the eye of a needle than getting a rich man to heaven. I would have to write a 200 page essay on why capitalism has failed. The great American dream has become a nitemare

Just because a failed political party was called the capitalist party, doesn't mean that's what they stood for. Our Demorats party here have become socialist and least democratic of any party in power. This is an example of what I mean.
Wealth and greed are not synonymous. Wealthy people can be philanthropic and work for the kingdom of God. Greedy people can be poor.
Maybe the American dream doesn't work well down under, but it seems to doing fine here.
I would be eager listen to your essay and respond rationally as I'm still waiting for any responses to what initiatives or inventions the socialist have created.

one has nothing to do with the other. ones an economic system and the other is economic advancement. industrialization works the exact same if little kids are made to work in factories or not, just the same with long work hours and no safety.
Philippines today is 100% capatilism and it works the same as the US 1900, long days, long hours, no safety, young kids working, factory made for 100 has 500 workers crammed inside, no workers comp, no retirement, no holiday, just pay them enough to get food but not enough to get full and you will get richer and richer.

Exactly so which one are we talking about since you mentioned the Philippines, was it capitalism or the process of industrialization that was the problem?

See if you want to argue against captilaism then show where the theory is wrong and then I can show you on a theoretical level why socialism is faulty right from the get go.
