If you had read my posts from yesterday, you wouldn’t have written this ludicrous post. I defended Security of the believer yesterday. You do nothing but pratfall over and over again. Ask @BillG what I said. As @mailmandan what I said. Ask @calibob what I said.

You are just another false accuser. I have enough of those already on my plate
You seem upset. Why are you so upset? I understand the fullness of God’s grace through faith; you on the other hand say you believe in the fullness of God’s grace through faith but you sure do get upset with others who don’t see your posts clearly. Why is it your posts cause confusion?

Why do my posts cause confusion? Because people like you and @UnderGrace dont have the ability to comprehend the difference between a descriptive and a prescriptive statement. You have to have basic interpretive rules to not get confused when reading

I listed a series of descriptive statements earlier. Did you read them

Yeah, and as I said in 107,257, it is Jesus who keeps us. But you keep accusing me of works salvation, lying. Does this “license to lie” you have mean you agree with the gnostic tenet that a Christian can sin all he wants, because it’s only his or her body doing it, and the new nature is not involved. That’s how some interpret “the one who is born of God does not (practice) sin. (Practice is based on the tense of the verb). This teaching that is promoted by some is a horrible mishandling of scripture
No you do not believe Jesus keeps us Justified and holds to His promises >>>>> notwithstanding whether we are dismissal failures or the truest most noble servant on the planet

His work is completely sufficient to pay the price for each and every sin ever committed or will be committed.

And I have yet to know one person that one confronted with this reality in both their hearts and minds makes them want to go out and sin more.

You teach sin confession keeps one saved ... because you teach sin confession keeps us regenerated... yet the bible teaches the sin issue was dealt with at the cross.

So you are not truly a OSAS believer because you want it both ways.

I am willing to accept that all sin has been covered by Grace and maybe you think that is a license to sin, but in reality people sin without a license everyday.

So move on away from this constant need to make sin the issue >>>>>> when really it is Grace which should be capturing our full attention each and everyday!!!!!

I’m not misrepresenting you or anyone else. I’m simply unable to decipher your views. If it was me alone then the responsibility and fault falls squarely on me, however you have admitted that you’re tired of people doing the same as I am doing, therefore the responsibility and fault of any confusion lies squarely on you. Understand I’m not a false accuser; I only want the best for you.

Would you please exegete 1 John 3:9 for me. How a person interprets this text reveals if they have gnostic tendencies or not.

Let me demonstrate that the problem is your reading comprehension. Where did I say sin confession keeps us regenerated.?If you give one, I will demonstrate that you did not read with comprehension. If you dont it will show that you misrepresent people.

Come on where did I say that. Because I want to show your misrepresentation to lightskin in answer to one of his questions

The fault of any misunderstanding does not fall on me. the fact that you do not recognize a descriptive statement, and confuse it for a prescriptive statement is on you, not on me

You can make things right by interpreting my words as descriptive, which is only reasonable, seeing I have pointed this out to you

And why do my words cause confusion. Because people read into them. UG just said that I said that sin confession keeps us regenerated. She totally read that into my words. If you show me where I said that, I will admit that I am an utter heretic, because I would be. So I challenge you to show me where I said what she claimed

So let me know when you find the phantom quote where I said sin confession keeps us regenerated. I will not let this go, because you have made ludicrous claims like this in the past, and when asked to show the post you didn’t.

Under grace said in her last post that I believe sin confession keeps us regenerate. Apparently, she doesn’t know the difference between sin confession maintaining fellowship, ( by removing our sense of guilt) and maintaining regeneration. It is blatant errors like this, her latest among many, is why you all get so confused

This is a clear example of how I have been misrepresented again and again. And you think the blame is on me. I’m to blame because people don’t know simple things like the difference between maintained fellowship and maintained regeneration.

Thank you @UnderGrace for making my point for me splendidly.

Waiting for @UnderGrace to show me where I said sin confession keeps us regenerate🤪

Gnosticism. My body sins all it wants and my new nature is still righteous. A guy named @Budman promoted this. It is totally Gnostic
Truth. Irenaeus wrote in his book "against heresies I" chapter 6 regarding gnostic teachings:

But as to themselves, they hold that they shall be entirely and undoubtedly saved, not by means of conduct, but because they are spiritual by nature. For, just as it is impossible that material substance should partake of salvation (since, indeed, they maintain that it is incapable of receiving it), so again it is impossible that spiritual substance (by which they mean themselves) should ever come under the power of corruption, whatever the sort of actions in which they indulged.

For even as gold, when submersed in filth, loses not on that account its beauty, but retains its own native qualities, the filth having no power to injure the gold, so they affirm that they cannot in any measure suffer hurt, or lose their spiritual substance, whatever the material actions in which they may be involved.
Wherefore also it comes to pass, that the “most perfect” among them addict themselves without fear to all those kinds of forbidden deeds of which the Scriptures assure us that “they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
And committing many other abominations and impieties, they run us down (who from the fear of God guard against sinning even in thought or word) as utterly contemptible and ignorant persons, while they highly exalt themselves, and claim to be perfect, and the elect seed.

This is almost textbook easy believism of today. Flesh is sinning but no harm is done to the soul. Many big names have said things similar to that. There is an article online where they compare gnostic teachings to what the pundits are saying today and the similarities are scary!

Why read them if I can’t understand them? According to you anyway.
