The body of sin is our flesh (not literal skin).
It was crucified with Christ.
We are now free to marry Christ because our husband is dead. This looses us from the law... The power of sin is in the law.
I'm not going into details because I will get ridiculed out of this thread in no time flat. The questions you asked are directly related to Romans 7. I hope this helps.
Rom 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Rom 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

The flesh of the Son of man must have been corrupted as that which could never profit. This was in order to do what the letter of the law (the killer) could not do Create a newborn again spirit
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
No corrupted body. . No way to perform the promised one-time "demonstration"of the father not seen and the Son of man seen working as one God.
HEB. 6:4.
For it is impossible(unable to be done) for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of The Heavenly Gift,
and were made partakers of The Holy Ghost,

And have tasted(partaken) the good Word of God, and The Powers of The World to come,

If they shall fall away(from the True Faith, from worshiping Jehovah)=strongs) to renew them again
unto repentance; seeing they (crucify)=raise up on a cross-again) to themselves The Son of God afresh,
and put Him to an open (shame)= to expose to public disgrace again).
HEB. 10:29.
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot
The Son of God, and has counted The Blood of the Covenant, wherewith He was sanctified,
(an unholy thing, and has done despite=(insult) unto The Spirit of Grace?)
