My experience is that I am more likely to hear someone out or want to listen when that one speaks in a manner that is gracious. When I perceive something a person says as harsh, I tend to speak defensively. In order to optimize conversations so that both parties are more likely to be heard and understood, sweetness of speech as described in Proverbs 16:21 is important.
Do you want to hear people out who say untrue things about you , and then when confronted deny saying them, even though words are placed right in front of them?

Same can be said of you

People do not take kindly to your lordship salvation, and you have said things in the past which could suggest you believe in works, and when people, ring those things up, it usually did not go well

Your attitude is the other things which rubs people wrong, it is why i stopped paying attention, i just opened up to see what lightskin was trying to say
What? You are not bought with a price? Someone Define Lord/Kurios for me.

My attitude is bad because I answered lightskins question?. My answer was true

Or is it because when someone accuses me of false gospel, I ask for a link where I taught a false gospel?

KJV1611 asked if regeneration means being saved again

GB9 said regeneration is a process

Someone said no such thing as being spiritually dead.

If things like regeneration and it’s correct meaning are not taught and learned, it creates a hole in one’s doctrine begin enough to drive a deisel truck through

Sorry you don’t like frank words

Because most of them don’t understand regeneration. This has been demonstrated by several people today

GB9, everyone who agreed with GB9, TMS. None knew about regeneration

Several said no such thing as being spiritually dead.

One said “what is regeneration, being saved again?”

Another said regeneration is a different conversation than salvation.

No excuse for continuing to be ignorant of regeneration it has been explained myself and others

If people don’t even understand the milk of the Word, yeah, it will be hard to understand my posts.

People do not know Bible these days. That’s why
Explain regeneration in the simplest way possible so that I and everyone else can understand. And don’t say that you’ve done it many times; forget the previous many times. Explain it to me right here, right now and in the simplest manner possible. Thank you.

NKJV Titus 3:5 study notes

3:5 not by works of righteousness: Since Paul has been exhorting Titus to emphasize good works in his ministry with the Cretans, he wants to make it clear that such works have no value in saving a person.

Rather, it is solely on the basis of God’s mercy that we are delivered from the penalty of our sin. washing of regeneration: This phrase refers to the work of the Holy Spirit, who in a moment makes a person new by the cleansing of regeneration (the new birth).
This new nature is the ground for living the Christian life and performing good deeds. renewing of the Holy Spirit: The continual process of Christian living is enabled by the Holy Spirit, resulting in growth in character and good works.

Word Study: washing of regeneration
(Gk. loutron palingenesias) (3:5) Strong’s #3067; 3824: The Greek word for washing can signify the receptacle of washing (the basin) or the act of washing itself.

In Eph. 5:26, the only other NT occurrence of this word, the natural meaning is washing. Here also the action of washing is presented. Quite simply, the text says that regeneration is characterized by or accompanied by the action of washing. The regenerative activity of the Holy Spirit is characterized elsewhere in Scripture as cleansing and purifying (see Ezek. 36:25–27; John 3:5).

The Greek term for regeneration literally means “being born again”—indicating a new birth effected by the Holy Spirit (see John 3:6; Rom. 8:16; Gal. 4:6). Thus God saved us through one process with two aspects: the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit.

If I could just raise this point concerning me.

I asked you what you meant by regeneration.
If memory serves me I asked was it akin to sanctification?

You responded with just "New birth"

So I was non the wiser.

I asked because I wasn't sure what you were trying to convey.
Was it works, growing in fruit.

So I asked not catch you out.

So a few posts back I see you posted "Read Titus 3:5"

It may have been helpful if you posted the verse.

Anyway I read said verse the looked into it.

As I said I'm taking for me and not others.

But and it's a good but.

Thanks, I have learned something and I cannot disagree with it.

And now I understand a bit more about you.

Sorry I did not go into more detail. I thought that new birth would be sufficient. I would have answered more in detail if you had asked me

I did define it numerous times in different ways to help people understand. I described it being raised to new life, raised to spiritual life, etc.

Even though the word regeneration is not specifically used except in Peter, it is also taught in Eph. 2:1-6, which I did mention several times

If people want to know what I have been affirming, read the study notes in Bill’s post. I agree 100 percent with what it said, and I can reconstruct almost exactly what it said from my posts on the subject

I grew up in a church that taught regeneration strongly. It seems like a lot of people emphasize justification here, but the new birth/regeneration aspect is not widely understood

I told people numerous times I was talking about regeneration. For those that did not know of it, I can understand why they misunderstood me. But eternally-grateful knows what regeneration means, and I told him that was what I was talking about. But I suspect he was replying without reading my posts.

Plus, you showed yourself diligent by looking the word up. If someone uses a word that I don’t know the meaning of, I look it up before I reply. Like you did

The notes in NKJV say it's only used in the following verse yet we don't see the word regeneration

Ephesians 5:26
26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.

Yet it's not the same Greek word.

Why is that?

Do they not go hand in hand?

Justified by faith as a result of the new birth, being born again from above?

Yes, but like your study notes said, two aspects. Sometimes people overemphasize one thing to the exclusion of the other or de-emphasis of the other.

I think it comes down to the words used in the Bible that you read.

Example being

Romans 8:8-9
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. NKJV

Romans 8:8-9
8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) NLT

NKJV = Flesh

NLT = Sinful Nature

The Greek is Sarx which is flesh.

Yet NLT says sinful nature.

Yet the Greek word for nature is not Sarx.

Now to me they are totally different.

So it can be easy to misunderstand based on the words used in the Bible translation you read.

I’m sorry. Meant to say Titus. The other place it’s mentioned is in Ephesians 2:1-6. It does not say regeneration, but that passage is talking about regeneration.
