C'mon you guys are besties and just don't want to admit it. A pastor called two women up to the front of the church. They were fighting for years everything from doctrine to cheese cake. With the body seated he had the two women stand face to face with each other and told them to say the Lord's Prayer each of them was doing wonderful. Then they came to the part "Father forgive" and they both broken crying, Its awful easy to think we are being faithful to our Lord only to find we might not be so spiritually mature. What you have done to the least of my followers we do unto the Lord. How many things we say to each other we would never say or never say that way if it was the Lord actually sitting there instead of the feud partner we see with eyes of sight and closing our eyes of Faith.

Doctrine has been the dirty "D" in the church and it will continue to be so but they will know we are His by our love one to another. If I have offended anyone in anyway whether you were in the right, I was in the right or neither us was right. I am here as part of His Body and to attack you is like a human body developing a foul disease in this case a misplaced idea of m y love for Him turned into they will know you are mine by your bickering. Please forgive and if I start heading that way, and it is so easy when do doctrine, please try and retore me with all gentleness and meekness and I will pray to go so if the leaven overtakes you as well. Thanks.
Problem is th doctrine being discussed by those two are the truth of god which leads to heaven

They can not both be right,, so there has to be a mark in the sand.

That is what the people who practice Judaism truly think.

It comes out sooner or later.

What was the reason the Jews crucified the Lord Jesus?

Because they hated what He was and What He represented. Pretty much the same as you.

That would have been the start of a playground fight if we were in 3rd grade...

And then we would probably be best friends after....

Yet the law was given for pre-salvation. Pre Christ

Yes you can read it to know more about god, (i love to read it from time to time,) but using it as a guide to help you walk with God, that is a fruitless endeavor, because it was not made for that purpose
Romans 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

Romans 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

Romans 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

It was only because they sought it not by faith, that they did not attain righteousness. If they had, then they would have. But lets skip the Law of Moses and go onto the things that are commanded of us in the New Testament.

I understand that if we walk in love, then the commands are naturally followed/fulfilled. How is "stating you follow them in love, different than "stating that you follow them, having been saved, with not only with your heart (love) but also your soul and mind (by stating you do and telling others you do)? Or is it the mere statement that you do considered "a work for salvation"?

Depends on why you are following, if so you will not lose salvation, then your working for, if just because you think it will make you a better person, your just a christian legalist.

Explain this

Thou shalt not bear false witness

Explain by the law itself every possible way you can disobey the law.

Going back to find the meanins of Yoke and burden, clears up any misconception, I hope. bondage or servitude and obligations.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find (not receive immediately) rest unto your souls.

Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light

2218 zugos
metaphorically, used of any burden or bondage as that of slavery

the name is so transferred to the commands of Christ as to contrast them with the commands of the Pharisees which were a veritable 'yoke'; yet even Christ's commands must be submitted to, though easier to be kept

From the root of zeugnumi (to join, especially by a "yoke"); a coupling, i.e. (figuratively) servitude (a law or obligation)

5413 phortion
of the obligations Christ lays upon his followers, and styles a 'burden' by way of contrast to the precepts of the Pharisees the observance of which was most oppressive

You are absolutely correct. Those who work at the law are unable to be His Bride.
And those who have been saved, their works follow them.

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them.

And those who have died "Rest" from their labours.

If your no longer under the schoolmaster, your work at trying to fulfill the commands to receive blessing from god is completed. Because you have stopped trying and repented and came to receive his grace
The schoolmaster lead us to Christ so that the school master would be the law of Moses, not the commands Jesus gave in the NT.

That is the verse I am looking for.

Its not a question of doctrine alone unless the Lord said its okay to say and do uklind things as long as you are in a chatroom. The times I have gotten to this point it was in retrospect I saw how far we had strayed, Then the leaven started to spread and all when we both knew neither person is going to change. I pray The Holy Spirit comes into every heart to show us the Lord isn't concerned for the other Guy even though He is He is more concerned at what I do and or say.

This is the day the Lord has made let us be glad in it. I've got 10 minutes before I have to leave I so enjoy seeing what His Body looks like. If there was anything that made me sure He is God would you have left us as the only physical proof that He is God. You are so awesome Lord help me to be quiet when I need to be and know you are God. No proof of His death or resurrection just us, amazing.

No pot shot, no mocking in what I said. No need to clarify either because it is you who missed the point not me.

Nothing unique about your belief system. I`ve heard everything you are indoctrinated with from long ago.
“Indoctrinated”

Wrong again. The Jews didn't crucify Jesus.

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

How is it the son of perdition is the only one named to the lake of fire? Do you really believe Gods own people killed Christ? WOW.

And for another witness the counting of the scribes none of them of the Levitical priesthood or even of Abraham and the Kenites are and their purpose, as it has been since the garden.

How could you lose salvation if you are working Gods Laws? NOT THAT I AM (which I am really starting to resent typing), it just strikes me as a very strange statement. Cause it would sound like this

"I am following all of Gods Laws so that I do not lose the free gift of salvation that God gave me" Then that person gets in front of God and God says " You gifted me with salvation yet I still followed your laws so you wouldn't take it back. And God says "I gifted you salvation, yet you followed all my laws, so you are out of here"

I don't know. I have mixed feelings here.

On the one hand, it was kind of provoking a fight. And wrong.

On the other, how do you go on a Christian site and say things like Jesus Christ is an abomination to God and not expect a fight?

I guess I'm not mature enough yet to ignore things like this... I try to be nice...

Nothing really unique about yours either.

All legalists and Judaizers think that the Lord Jesus Christ failed in one way or another. The only thing unique about them is the way they make up in their minds what the Lord has failed to do.

He either failed to fulfill the whole law, and so we are under some, or He failed in some other way and now we must still be under some jewish traditions.

You aren't the first one to come up with this. There have been MANY before you. I kind of miss some of them...

Its the necessary result of the carnal mind. Well, I can't see the kingdom so it must not be here yet. Therefore Christ must not have done what He said He would do.

Maybe it is your understanding that is at fault here and not the failure of the Lord Jesus Christ? Maybe the Lord DID fulfill what He said He came to fulfill but MAYBE you can't see it yet?

It's too difficult to receive this from people I think. Especially people that you think you are in some kind of competition with. I think you see things differently than I do. I think it is kind of cool when someone makes you take a stand for what you believe and back it up with scripture. It kind of strengthens your faith.

I think you could have some really important points in scripture to show people. I don't think I would agree with all of them but I could show you how I see some of them and kind of do agree with some of what you post. I think we would just have to agree to disagree on some things.

Just like EG and I agree to disagree on a few things. But major important things we agree.

I don't know yet if you and I fundamentally disagree on who Jesus Christ is and what He has given His People. It kind of seems like we might. But I still don't know for sure.
I find it hard to discuss things with you because you often seem impolite, If we were talking Bible face to face I don`t think you`d jump on me with the false accusation and name calling like you did here.

I keep getting called a legalist Judaizer by you and some of the others here. That isn`t having a conversation, it`s just dishonest.
