So your point is that following the law of Moses was not even required in the OT? Just believe in God is sufficient?
Following the perfect law of God is believing God .

The law is perfect converting our soul giving us understanding of Him not seen.

The law of Moses was needed for every day life, but it never saved the soul. Just a simple faith was sufficient.

(Lights out)
Okay so you believe a Jew in the ot need not follow the law to be saved.

Just that his “every day life” will be affected (whatever that means)

Revelation 22:14-15, " 14 Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

So unlike PS and posthuman, you believe keeping the law is absolutely essential, to have a right to the tree of life?

Hmm, seems all I did was post a verse?

Revelation 22:14-15, " 14 Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Is Jesus a liar to you?

Are you looking for a reason to accuse me because I post Jesus words?

Revelation 1:1-3, " 1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

I am not the judge, but this I can say 100%

The people that are called "saints" do honor His Commands:

Revelation 14:12-13, " 12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

Satan fights against people that honor His COmmands:

Rev 12: 17 Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

and yes apparently it does matter:

1 John 3:24, “And the one guarding His commands stays in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He stays in us, by the Spirit which He gave us.”

John 12:48, “He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day.”

So are you suggesting that God's people are disobedient, live lives full of sin and reject His laws? and those who honor them are fallen and lost?

I was just asking you a question so that I can understand where you are at. Don't you realize people here rarely state what they believe in clearly? Why you get so agitated?

A simple yes would suffice.

A simple yes would suffice.
So when I reply and ask question Im agitated, but when you do it no problem? and always with the emojis!!!! Aww!!!

It is my assumption you are looking for a reason to accuse when you isolate one thing and donlt state your own view. If you would have stated your view I would not think that.

You rarely answer my question straight if at all.

Yes I believe thise in the kingdom honor God's law,

in what exact fashion I can not say because I do not have His viewpoint and I am not the righteous judge, I have a human mind that is not capable of what His mind is capable of.

I answered clearly and expanded on details of my view, now DO you believe Jesus words in this verse?

If you deem this as "asking questions without being agitated", I rest my case then.

Well this is a forum and you can only read text, maybe you are telepathic and can read my emotions? IDK Or maybe you think you can. Some men have been though great trials, some men have had to live hard lives even as children and then to adulthood, these men do not get agitated easily. Possibly you come from the outrage generation and assume everyone gets agitated at everything IDK.

What I do know is I asked you aquestion after I answered your question clearly.

So you will answer my question?

I am just keen to understand why you think the way you do.
because i believe what i read in the scripture.

Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when He predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven.
(1 Peter 1:10-12)

Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
(John 1:29)

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God:
As it is written

(Mark 1:1-2)

τοῦ εὐαγγελίου
evangelii
the gospel

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.
Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.
(Luke 5:13-14)
when Jesus heals a leper and tells him to go show himself to the priests,
is it because the leper is not actually clean until he has performed the things required by the law?

He said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests."
And as they went, they were cleansed.

this isn't about you. it's about the truth.
PS and you believe salvation has always been by grace thru faith, apart from works, since OT and NT.

FTS believes that salvation has always required works, since OT and NT.

I will now step aside and let both groups decide which is the truth among yourselves. :)

There's an enormous thread about that already. Largest in the whole forum.

This thread is about whether there is more than one gospel.

Apollos only knew the scripture and the message of John. Aquilla & Priscilla, two witnesses of the truth that Paul testified of, calling it the 'things of the kingdom of God,' explained to Apollos the gospel more accurately. The scripture does not say Apollos learned a 'different' gospel through them, but that he already taught the gospel accurately, and learned it more accurately.

Apollos heard the gospel John proclaimed.

What gospel did John the Baptist preach?

If you are willing to accept the popular doctrine that everyone in the OT was "looking forward to the cross", then you are going to believe in only one gospel, no matter what others say.

The work of salvation has been completed from foundation of the world .He rested from all his unseen work on the 7th, our sabbath rest .

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

It a common mistake to try and fit the actual work into the outward promised demonstration of the finished work of pouring out His Spirit not seen promised thousands of years latter.

The gospel of Christ. . . it is all one gospel. . not attributed to any man .

Confussion sets in when we attribute the work of God to men .

Christ is not divided. He alone was crucified for the sin of the world.

I wonder where that tradition of men came in to name it after men?
