Why I now believe that salvation can be lost.

Mostly what you are saying is that you were never born again. You had the opportunity. The word was planted in your heart but you allowed the cares of this world to come in and steal the word away.
I can say one thing that I know is for certain IF you have ever had the Holy Spirit speak straight to your heart you will NEVER cease in seeking out that voice in your life. Blessed are those who seek after righteous for they shall be filled. Having tasted the word of God one can NEVER be satisfied with anything less.
The issue with OSOS there is no such thing. The Holy Spirit will not speak to anyone who is merely curious about spiritual things.
Communication with God is most always begun as a result of desperation. Afterward it is always a matter of hunger. You never loose the desire in wanting more.
I have spoken to many people who have wanted this hunger in their lives but just could not confess they have it. God will grant hunger to all who truly desire hunger. If you do not have the hunger stay on your knees until you wear God down with your insistence. It can happen and it will always be rewarding.
I am not saying eternal security comes through works I am talking about salvation and the born again experience ,which by the way are two different things.
Being born again is an event in ones life. Being saved is something that happens each day. There is a reason a person is born again the reason is to be comforted to the image of Christ also called salvation , also called the resurrection unto life.
A child born into this world who becomes troublesome is not cast out on the street.The parents correct them and guide them in the right direction. How do we believe our heavily Father would do any less?

So you dont think we need to love so we can go to heaven? Because the reason we love others is to show love to God in keeping his commands. Because doing it simply out of doing it, if its not for God wouldn't really have a benefit in our spiritual walk, because many non Christian's show love to poor people. But when we show love to others its because we love God.

I think you have a good heart, in fact I think your heart is pure, but with all due respect and no malice whatsoever, I think your theological beliefs are misguided, and I worry about you.
My arms of friendship are open to you if you like and you have my word I will always be kind and respectful to you.
Light skin you dont need to worry about my theological beliefs. I have done my research on this subject and I believe I have found the truth even though others dont believe it's true. Thanks for your kind response.
I believe this is true christianity even though a multitude disagree with me. But the Lord is with me showing me the truth and I will listen to him.

1 john 3:

Lol. Thats alot of work,Yes we have to continue to the end to get saved. We need to remain with Jesus through our tests, sufferings and trials. Enduring to the end to get saved.... and keeping the our faith until the very end

OMG. These are sad people. Completely miss the Gospel. If they weren't spreading such heresy I could have much more compassion on them. But they are damaging immature Christians with this works that takes away Jesus' Glory blasphemy.
There no longer remains a Sacrifice.....
You said "Christ being a stumbling block for some" is the dumbest statement, the same statement is found in the bible bible.

Faith does not ask who ascends to heaven or who descends to hell. You need to literally emulate a child, they don't know hate and they don't do it thinking heaven or hell, it is their nature.
If someone came with a material need, you don't give them because you are going to heaven and you don't give having the mind that others who don't give are going to hell, but give out of compassion.If you give because of heaven and hell then it is no longer love but pride.
1 John 3:16By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?
Usually, there's no such thing as eternal security:
Ezek 18:
20The soul who sins is the one who will die. A son will not bear the iniquity of his father, and a father will not bear the iniquity of his son. The righteousness of the righteous man will fall upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked man will fall upon him.
21But if the wicked man turns from all the sins he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die. 22None of the transgressions he has committed will be held against him. And you took it out of context. I glorify God by thanking him every day and you said be careful Jesus can be a stumbling block. OK, the sentence is not the dumbest, taking it grossly out of context lacks good discernment.
But you have to interrogate why i said that.
I said:
1. The second commandment prohibits creating images of the invisible God and worshiping them
2. The new testament has Christ as the image of the invisible God.
As much as the old testament looked at things in the physical such that creating the image of the invisible God would amount to curving something physical, the new testament looks at the spiritual such that no one can claim to have God in their mind but you need to have the mind of Christ in you which is to love one another.
