Nothing to ponder. God gives commands to 3 different groups. The Government, the Church and the individual. Do research on God's commands for government.
I have. I was in politics once upon a time.

I would need more evidence to believe the Jewish education system is teaching hate. Otherwise all this shows is two boys showing hate and one older man showing compassion. For all we know those little boys just lost a loved one in a missile strike that happens way too often over there.
I didn't say the Jewish education system was teaching hate.

I am not saying hate isnt found on both sides because actually many Jewish people have become atheists or atleast nonreligious. I'm just saying it is a stretch so far for me to believe that the Jewish education system teaches to hate filthy Arabs.
You may be confusing my post with someone elses. I never said the education system in Israel is doing this.

Even if they did it still wouldn't be with to give up on Israel as explained in the Friends of Israel ministry website.
I'll have to look at that site. The video below has to be viewed @ Vimeo.

That doesn't mean you understood governments role in the Bible.

The turn the other cheek scripture was directed to the individual. To the individual it could be debated does that mean complete pacifism or not. But for government. Its God designed role is to protect its people.

No I probably wasn't explaining enough. I meant in comparison to the Islamic nations that do train children up to hate the unbelievers. I was pointing out that there is a big difference between the culture promoting hate compared to one that isn't. I was saying I would need more evidence to believe Israel is doing the same.

That doesn't mean you understood governments role in the Bible.[/quote] It does mean I understood that when I was also a Christian in politics once upon a time. I carried two Bibles with me when I was active in the game. One just to give to someone if they were in need.

True save for many people think turn the other cheek means to stand and be assaulted on the left cheek. It doesn't. Unless you're into that. It means let it go, turn and walk away. God's salvation is written in our hearts. However, "DOORMAT" isn't tattooed on our forehead. If someone has the nerve to strike you once, if you stand and turn as if to wish to receive the abuse again they'll likely accommodate you being they had that kind of nerve the first time.

There I do agree. And the tragic thing is there are Madrasa's in America and in any western nation where Muslims have immigrated.

It is interesting that western nations allow something that the teachings are in contradiction to western law and western thought. May be a radical statement but as we see the results of Islamic ideologies mix into our Congress. It is quite evident that if we are not careful and better at assimilation then we will lose the Traditional American identity.

In my view neither the voter nor Congress can let themselves be ignorant of Islam's tenets.
I would never vote for a Muslim. Not because I'm "Islamophobic", which is a myth as currently applied in western nations, but because I know that Islam teaches the only oath a Muslim is bound to honor is that which makes them in service to Allah.

While they are able to take an oath otherwise , like that of public office, or when immigrating to a western nation, that's allowed under the tenets of Taqiyya.

If Ilhan Omar isn't a warning against Muslims being voted into our Congress or, GOD FORBID, the office of President, people just aren't paying attention.
Unfortunately, "Political Correctness", in my view rightly defined by the late, God rest him, George Carlin as, Fascism pretending to be manners, makes speaking the truth out to be intolerable and wrong. While putting one's head in the sand in order to tolerate what is otherwise intolerable, permissible.

It will all work out to teach us all a lesson. Whether we wake up or not. Get active and involved in the field of power and control that is the landscape of Politics. Or, if we allow ourselves to continually be distracted by programming on TV that implants dramatic emotions over nonsense, so that we carry that germ into our own lives and exchanges with one another, while abdicating personal privacy due to the ridiculous inducements of "social media", we won't wake up. Either way, we will ultimately have to face the lesson either fork in the road affords.

Career politicians exist because people vote for the name they're familiar with. How many actually review the record of that person before going to the polls? And who said it is carved in stone you have to vote your party only? But people do because partisan loyalty is often more important than the individual and national future those who pander to partisan loyalists will carve out if they're given one more chance. Again, and again, and again....
What really should make people think twice about being indifferent to politics, besides, the truism, the personal is political and the political is personal, is the fact that to install term limits Congress itself has to vote by 2/3rds majority to amend the Constitution to that effect.

I see that happening.
Yep. Nancy Pelosi, were she a younger woman, has to get a job after eight years. Chuck Schumer too. And then they have to live by the rules they passed while in office.
Yeah, any day now, that amendment is coming. I just know it.

But at least lets hope no one in NY's sixth Congressional district is blind enough to re-elect AOC.
SOBER UP PEOPLE! See what your hangover got you last time?
:p Seriously though.

Islamaphobic the fear of Islam. Sounds accurate to me. I fear Islam due to its destructive beliefs if actually carried out in action.

Homophobic? You best believe I fear the idealogy of the LGBT community.

They use these words to try and shut free speech down or opposing beliefs. But destructive beliefs should be feared as it can affect your life or the lives of your children.

Ilhan Omar is the perfect example of how Islam just isnt compatible to western law or beliefs.

It is very true and very sad that many people vote without even looking to see what the individual believes and their position on the issues. Or hear things like erasing the college debt and boom their mind stops right there and they begin to advocate for that individual.

Also unfortunately many dont care that these individuals have extreme unAmerican views because they have been taught to hate the foundation and traditional American beliefs. They see the current America as bad but promise their utopian dream can be achieved.

Term limits.... I wish lol but yes it would take the people to push this by forcing their congressional leaders to do so either by taking a vote in their homestate to remove the individual in less compliant or maybe some other legal way.

Dealing with AOC is just another example of how extreme idealogies if given power can cause so much confusion and destruction. The squad in general has done nothing but make noise and continually show us how far the progressives want to go.

I'm unwatching this thread now. I care more about the homeless, the insane and the wretched on the streets of the United States than All of the Muslims in the world. They call Christians infidels anyways. If we shake the dust off of our shoes at them. Perhaps they will do the world a favor and blow themselves to hell. Please forgive me but I really don't care much about them at all.

Does the economic prosperity of the few outweigh the physical needs and spiritual needs of so many? I say NO. But I've lived in the streets, slept on bus benches and in lifeguard towers. I've worked at rehab centers and rescue missions. Salvation and help for our lost sick and poor seems more valuable to me than of the tea in China, Gold in the Vatican or Oil in Arabia.

Patting text. Ephesians 2:14-15 (14) For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, (15) by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace.

If our hearts are truly circumcized, and this is a Christian nation; We would set aside the new idols of money and Oil. Take care of our own and help our neighbors first and let the dead bury each other. Stop the partisan politics!

The Gospel comes first and foremost, not any nation. John 13:34 34"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." Gospel before nation! Christians before Antichrists'!

It is much more than money or oil. It is about keeping evil at bay and not having a repeat like 9/11. Our CIA busts terrorists cells in this country all the time and foil the plans that are linked overseas to these middle eastern countries. I see this issue as a national security issue.

Of course we got many other issues too. But a wolf in the chicken house is very bad. A wolf at the door is threatening. A wolf in the pasture alarming. A wolf miles away is the preferred distance we want to keep the threat. Domestic issues like homelessness, starvation, diseases, etc are all important but if we cannot keep evil at bay then none of these issues will matter.

So it's OK to fight terrorism in Arabia but turn our backs on our neighbors that are South of the Border?

What do you think they are running away from? Do you think they are walking from Honduras to get on welfare?

The following is just Mexico. Not Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama or Columbia. The news is showing and telling you what's profitable, convent and far away. We've got more serious problems closer to home. Narco terrorism is the name.

What do you mean. We fight the Cartels every day and work with Mexico to crack down on the cartels. Some administrations have tried regime changes in other south American countries. Mexico isnt like these middle eastern countries that are majorly unstable. Atleast with Mexico money talks more loudly with Mexico than the Islamist who want us dead regardless if we pay them off or try a nuclear deal. This is how Trump has moved Mexico to enforce its border control and with trying to stop caravans. Mexico has its internal problems just like our internal problems also affects the world. The difference is if anyone believes we should invade Mexico as if their Government is purposely attacking us.

Islamic jihad is different than a war on drugs. And so far we haven't really ever seen a success in both areas. Islamic jihad will always be in less the world eliminates Islam. Drugs will always be in less we eradicate evil. So it just comes down to which methods of war in some way limits or controls the situation.

I mean we should ban Trade and immigration from Islamic countries. Execute domestics allied with them. Embargo from foreign Oil. Stop off shore banking and if importer wan to sell products in this country they should pay US income taxes.

We should With draw from the middle east declare war on terrorists in all of the Americas. We should see the new Latin American terrorist and their paid officials like James Monroe saw European invasion and Colonization 200 years ago and amend the Monroe Doctrine. We shoul send troops south of the border.

More people have died in the USA from adulterated narcotics, and illegal narcotics than from Islamic terrorism in the USA. Not to mention crimes comitted by addicts and the cost of incarcerations' there of.

The Curds align with us because we pretend to be the enemy of their enemies. (Oil is the prize we want.) But I think they will turn on us like Stalin, Castro and Ho Chi Minn did not so long ago.

This administration, and the Obama administration, is by far the worst administrations this country has seen in a very long time when it comes to strategical statesmanship abroad.

Firstly Obama was too weak to man up and take control in the Middle East, now Trump is doing the same thing, and now the Arabs, Russians and Chinese are moving in to collect. Good job, fellas, mighty fine job...you think they will stop now?

No, now they’ve seen how weak and divided the Western countries are. It’s time for them to seize the day...

I agree but not sure about embargoing foreign oil. Maybe from hostile countries but not all foreign oil.

I'm not sure how going to war with a whole continent would play out.

Difference is the addict often chose that path while the victim of terrorism did not. Drugs are a hard thing to war against because you destroy 1 lab while 2 more pop up. Drugs are a problem of human behavior. They want to get high. Unfortunately many get addicted. This is the consequences of sin. Sin destroys lives. But if you win the mind over to morality then people would be less to sin and less likely to fund or participate in the drug underworld. That is how you respond to the war on drugs. But at the same time uphold the laws and control the border.

The Curds align with us because we pretend to be the enemy of their enemies. (Oil is the prize we want.) But I think they will turn on us like Stalin, Castro and Ho Chi Minn did not so long ago.
I just dont believe the oil narrative people throw around. Because

The USA has 15,043,000
Oil Production
(bbl/day)[1] and is ranked number 1 in the world.

Syria is ranked 59 with 30,000

Also many believe America has more oil than alarmists admit.

The U.S. holds more oil reserves than anyone else in the world, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Venezuela.

That conclusion comes from a new independent estimate from Rystad Energy, a Norwegian consultancy. Rystad estimates that the U.S. holds 264 billion barrels of oil, more than half of which is located in shale. That total exceeds the 256 billion barrels found in Russia, and the 212 billion barrels located in Saudi Arabia.

For US, more than 50% of remaining recoverable oil reserves is unconventional shale oil. Texas alone holds more than 60 billion barrels of shale oil according to this new data.

And with the President's removal of many red tape environmental laws now more drilling is being done.

So it it just hard for me to believe much of our being in the middle east is about oil because we basically are getting to the point we dont depend on others oil. We have enough here to last 100s or more years.

Oil is the object greed is the problem. The truth is it's cheaper to by foreign oil and once we deplete their supplies the value and profitability of ours will rise. It's a commodity's market tactic.

Part of the drug problem is prohibition is what makes it so profitable. Greed is the enemy here too. When Havana harbor was a freeport, before, Castro, it was the drug smuggling hub for the East coast and the Gulf of Mexico. Communism put a temporary stop to it. Castro decided to be the top gangster of Cuba but Ike wouldn't play ball with him. It didn't take long for the smugglers to find other Governments willing to turn and look away or join the enemy. Panama, and Viet Nam for example with the help of the CIA. Kennedy wanted to shut down the Viet Nam scam and dismantle the CIA. That was his undoing. Hoffa embezzled Teamster retirement funds to help The CIA retake Cuba. It was illegal to use taxpayer money at the time to do it.

JFK & RFK found out about it and RFK got Hoffa sent to prison. Nixon had been the Vice president under Ike and was quite aware of the Bay of Pigs maneuver when he ran against Kennedy but made the mistake pf engaging Jack in public debates. JFK had a better poker face. It cost Nixon the election, that time the election that time.

LBJ was scared of Nixon and decided not to run against him. But RFK wanted vengeance. Ford and Bush were well vested in the CIA by then. Nixon agreed to pardon Hoffa if Hoffa could swing the union vote his way and help him get elected. Bobby Kennedy was the greatest obstacle. The Opium war had changed into a War for profit. The Military Industrial Was the true enemy and Ike said so before he retired.

Bobby got assinated just like his brother. Dick Nixon and henry Kissinger colluded with President Nguyen Van Thieu of South Vietnam to boycott the Peace talks till after the election. Humphreys peace got stalled and Nixon and Agnew won. Agnew was convicted of tax evasion and political Corruption in the state of Maryland and received 3 yeas probation a $10,000 fine and resigned in disgrace. Enter Gerald Ford. He was a well vested member of the illegal to operate in the USA, CIA and was on the Warren Commission which White washed the JFK assination. Daniel Ellsberg leaked that the Viet Nam war was a scam in and implicated Henry Kissinger. So Nixon created the Plumbers group with former CIA member that were involved with the Bay of Pigs as well as the JFK assination. In fact E. Howard Hunt made a deathbed confession. The plumbers got arrested and imprisoned for Watergate and led to R.M. Nixon's resignation in 1974. Ford pardoned Nixon, Hoffa and Hunt.

Do in need to keep going? I could but I'm bored. I believe the USA has been the victim of a hostile takeover since 1963 and only the good guys were executed.

When JFK forced school inergration and LBJ was trying to win the Black vote he signed the Civil Rights Act of 1965 (I think it was the only good thing he did) The Dixiecrats felt betrayed so the RNC developed the southern strategy. For over 100 years the south traditionally voted DEM. Lincoln was a Republican.

Update: As new information was released by the President I have changed my opinion. It was a good call to move our troops out. Sometimes only time can tell if something was good or bad.

Do you think the Middle East can be controlled outside the context of direct rule?

I'm starting to think the Ottoman Empire had its uses.

Winston Churchill, come back from wherever you are! We need you more than ever!
