Surat 'Āli `Imrān (Family of Imran) - [FONT=&quot]سورة[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]آل[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]عمران[/FONT]
The Holy Qur'an - ?????? ??????
3:45
[And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the MESSIAH, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ]. Saying Jesus is Messiah that will bring people to God.
******** MESSIAH is much more than a prophet...
The word ((Messiah)) translated from the arabic word {Maseeh} which means {the Annointed}, the verse says ((whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary)), Does God have a mother?? , ((distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ].)) Qur'an 3:45, near to God, not God, that offcurse not according to your faith that Jesus sitting on the right hand of God and he is God and they both are God, does it make sense??
"He will speak to the people in the cradle" Qur'an 3:47
Jesus (peace be upon him) after his birth was a baby, was our lord who created us ababy ?

Mary was washing up jesus when he was ababy , our lord washed up ?
Mary was breast-feeding this baby , was mary breast-feeding our Creator? God ?
Jesus was going to the bathroom, was our lord going to the bathroom ?
3:47
She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah ; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.
CONFIRMS virgin birth from GOD, MORE than a prophet...
Are you saying that beeing Jesus (peace be upon him) have no father, came from virgin birth is an evidence that he is God, well, God created eve from aman and whithout a woman, Is Eve god, God created Adam whithout Man or Woman, Is Adam god, the answer is in the verse ((He (God) creates what He wills)), we believe because of Qur'an in the virgin birth of Jesus (peace be upon him) although there is no muslim in the world said that he is god, therefore no one of those was the Creator but God created them, they are from his creations.
3:48
And He will teach him writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel.
**** HERE the Gospel in mentioned as GOOD.
Muslims bilieve in the Gospel of God, the word of God, not the Gospel of john, louke, mark, etc, like we believe in every book God have rvealed to his messengers and prophets, so show me the Gospel of God which God have rvealed to jesus, what you have in your hands now is a words of men wrote thiere viows about jesus, I do not care about thiere viows I care only about the word of God himself, and you do not have even the originals of what these men said, you do not even know which language exactly they wrote thiere books, but what you have now is a copy of a copy of acopy, etc, of what they wrote, they can say what they want but anyone consedering thiere words as words of God, like the church did, is wrong.
3:49
And [make him: JESUS] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah . And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah . And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.
**** HERE Jesus breathes LIFE into clay and it is ALIVE.... MORE than a prophet
Qur'an states that all the miracles of Jesus (peace be upon him) was not from himself, was not by his own ability but Jesus (peacebe upon him) did it by the permission of God ((3:49 And [make him: JESUS] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah . And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah ….)), like all the messengers of God, did miracles by the permission of God, Moses, Jacop, Joseph, Abraham and all the prophets, God can do all things, therefore when they did miracles that did not mean that anyone of them is god, but that meant that they are messengers of God because nobody can do that but by the permission of God, and that does not mean that anyone of them is the lord himself.

ALL RELIGION IS EVIL... used to control and sinful men trying to justify their lives and not ask GOD FOR change, MOST OF TODAYS so called CHRISTIAN CHURCH FALLS UNDER THIS CATEGORY TOO.

NOBODY IS RIGHTEOUS NOT ONE! Romans 3:10..... Romans 10:3 warns - Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.

HERE is the deal, GOD wants to make YOU.. one with CHRIST..literally... to put YOUR SPIRIT into CHRISTS and to make you ONE with GOD .. hence, HEAVEN is within you and LIVING WATER will flow from within. BUT...

YOU MUST HATE THE WORLD AND ALL THAT IS IN IT AS JESUS SAID:

ASK, READ, REPENT and only seek heaven and do not love the world of anything in it, I promise you all.. that this is what the TRUE message of the Gospel IS because IF YOU JUST OPEN your eyes and heart and take these Scriptures for what they are and BOLDLY ASK GOD for heaven within you now, the Living Water, AND KEEP READING, fasting and pushing hard reading Matthew to Revelations and suffering like JESUS did with fasting and not sinning at ALL.. GOD will do IT!

WATCH my testimony - http://www.youtube.com/my_videos?feature=mhum
THIS IS THE REAL TRUTH OF CHRIST HE HAS SHOWN ME HIMSELF, I COME in the NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST RAISED THE 3rd day by the FATHER who sends the HOLY SPIRIT to those who TRULY REPENT AND ASK AND SEEK AND KEEP SEEKING BOLDLY UNTIL THEY FIND... AND ONLY THOSE WHO SEEK BOLDLY as JESUS SAID in the parable with the man asking for BREAD that was turned away BUT got the bread HE wanted due to HIS BOLD PERSISTENCE!

Luke 11:8 "I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs."
•John 17:21 - Jesus said: "That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be IN us."
John 8:31 - "IF you ABIDE in my word, you are TRULY my disciples."
• John 14:21: "He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
• Luke 14:26 - "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life--he cannot be my disciple." HATE in really "love less by comparison." In the Greek original.
• John 7:37 - For Jesus stood and cried, saying on the day of the Feast, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his BELLY shall flow rivers of Living Water!"
• Luke 17:21 "nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."
• John 7:38 - "Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."
• LUKE 12:2 - "... and all that is secret will be made known."
• John 12:25 - "Those who love their lives will destroy them, and those who hate their lives in this world will guard them for everlasting life."
• 1 John 2:15 - "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
• Rev 3:20 - "If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”
• Galatians 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me."
• 2 Corinthians 13:5 - "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?"
• Hebrews 12:14 - "Without holiness no one will see the Lord."
• 2 Peter 2:2 - "Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute."
• Ephesians 2:14 - For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

• Romans 8:9 -- "You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ."

• Galatians 5:20 -- "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires."

• Colossians 2:11 -- "In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ."

• John 17:24 "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world."

• 1 John 2:27 "...and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit."
• 1 John 3:9 - "No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God."

• 1 John 5:18 - "We know that the person who has been born from God does not go on sinning. Rather, the Son of God protects them, and the evil one cannot harm them."
• Luke 24:49 "I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

• John 4: 23 -- "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

• Hebrews 12:8 "If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons."

• John 8:34 - Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
• Hebrews 10:26 - If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
Laid down his life?? That mean that he was willing to lite the people to put him on the cross, what was that then, Matthew 27:46 ((Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,“ My God, My God, why have Thou forsaken me'' ))
Qur'an3:55
[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.
Jews was willing to kill him (Jesus), but, ((And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary A.S. ) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse); And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Īsā (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allâh," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Īsā (Jesus) was put overanother man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Īsā (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) A.S.]: But Allâh raised him ['Īsā (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he A.S. is in the heavens). And Allâh is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.)) Qur'an 4:156_158

There is a theory that the person who took Jesus pbuh place was Judas. The confusion in the bible on how Judas died points to this. Whether Judas replaced Jesus pbuh willingly or not is another question if that was the case.

It is the people in the religion who make it evil. Religion is an object. It can not be inherently evil or good. Those are qualities reserved for mankind and the actions of mankind.

Let's juxtapose the question to Christianity. Is Christianity evil? Women were not treated as equals until the Industrial Revolution. The Irish Republican Army bombed English buses and killed English hostages in order to defend Catholicism and the Irish state. The Protestants and Catholics brutally murdered the Anabaptists. I would say that it is the people who do those things in the name of religion is evil. There are evil Christians but Christianity is not evil. There are evil Muslims but Islam is not evil.
I think Islam is a religion. It is like fire. It can cause great destruction but it also can be used to cook your dinner. Nothing is "good" except for God in Heaven. Islam like Christainity has good and evil mixed into it. We have to shift the wheat from the thorns. All good things come from God. The real question should be if you think Islam is evil how do you think God wants you to treat those who are Muslims?

I think God wants us to love them as God loved us. To turn the other check, to live our lives as examples of the purity of God's Love. I'm not talking about a shallow love which allows others to beat you victimizing type of love. But with the strength to do what God asks us to do. To forgive people and treat them with love despite the fact they will spit in our faces and try to run back into the muddy waters of sin. Sin is an addiction. Have you ever seen a recovering addict? they just want their next shot, they go through withdraw, its not easy, its not pretty, but if we truly love those who we view as our enemy or "evil" then we will stand firm and help them. Hopefully there will be others who will help us give up our addictions/sins so that we all can move towards what God meant for us to be, so that we can shine the light of God to all around us and lead them back to God's love and will for the world.

Hi Amanda

A good considered response except everyone is addicted to sin.
Jesus isn't and He is alive and the light that will lead us towards the paths of righteousness. The Holy Spirit lives within us and we must cruxify the flesh and die to sin so that God's work may be done and our lives might be living testimonies to God. We are to love our neighbors, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, grieve with the widows and take the yoke off the oppressed. If we keep our eyes on Jesus we can walk over the waters of sin.

Jesus is the Lord of Host referred to in the Old Testament. The Jewish people worshiped this Lord of Host and believed Him to be God. However there is debate on that issue and whether Allah and the Christian God are the same being worshiped by Muslims, Christians and Jews.

Personally I don't know the answer to that. I'll pray and see if God answers one way or the other. I've prayed about it before and the only answer I've found when searching my heart and mind is that we should judge people by the fruit they bear if they are good or evil.

Galatians 5
Walking in the Spirit

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another."

Hi Amanda

Jesus pbuh stated that he will not change the law until the end of time.

What did he command ?

Matt 23:1-5 "Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men."

The pharisees were learned in the law but hypocrites. He said to follow the law taught by the Pharisees.

John 14:15-21 (New International Version, ©2011)
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Here Jesus pbuh is telling us to keep his commandments and he will love them. Jesus pbuh will pray to God to send another prophet like himself.

Most Christians make no effort to keep the laws Jesus pbuh was so passionate about his followers keeping. Even to the extent that he told then to do what the Pharisees say.

Then we have Paul from the dubious background of killing the followers of Jesus pbuh state you do not need to keep the commandments of Jesus anymore. You can ignore what the Pharisees say (the law) and just do what I tell you.

"True Christianity, which will last forever, comes from the gospel words of Christ not from the epistles of Paul. The writings of Paul have been a danger and a hidden rock, the causes of the principal defects of Christian theology." (Ernest Renan, Saint Paul)

"Jesus pbuh will pray to God to send another prophet like himself."

Most Christians would say that refers to the Holy Spirit that comes and resides in the hearts of true believers. I am still a student and do not have fancy words to comment on Ernest Renan's statement but the epistles of Paul are key to understanding the basis of the Christian church.

Paul does not tell us to ignore the commandments of Jesus or the law. Some people may twist his words to mean so but it is a lie and the teaching of false doctrine.

There is God's laws and man's laws. the Pharisees added laws that went against the teaching of God such as paying money to the church instead of honoring your parents and providing for them. the some modern churches have added the leaven of the pharisees and have added to God's words and laws. Paul talks about how we no longer have to do daily blood sacrifices and a new convenant between God and His people through the death of Jesus Christ.

Christians believe that Jesus died for our sins so that we may inherit the kingdom of God and no longer be bound by the laws of sin in our bodies and in the world. We are then given the Holy Spirit as a Counselor to guide our lives and actions. That is the basis of faith and grace.

I speak only for myself, what I personally believe and my testimony to the wonderful things God has done in my life. I try and keep the commandments of God and act in a Biblically based manner at all times.

there are sections where the Koran and the Bible agree but there are large sections that are at war with each other.

The question is what do we do about the conflicting views? Who do we believe and what is GOD"s truth?

True evil is a coldness and hardening of the heart were the person does not care who they harm or what they do as long as they get what they want and are satisfied. They have no ties to anyone and you can not appeal to their compassion because they have none. The demon possessed and truly evil hide it well. they are the serial killers and child molestors that walk the street every day unnoticed.

Muslims bilieve in the Gospel of God, the word of God, not the Gospel of john, louke, mark, etc, like we believe in every book God have rvealed to his messengers and prophets, so show me the Gospel of God which God have rvealed to jesus, what you have in your hands now is a words of men wrote thiere viows about jesus, I do not care about thiere viows I care only about the word of God himself, and you do not have even the originals of what these men said, you do not even know which language exactly they wrote thiere books, but what you have now is a copy of a copy of acopy, etc, of what they wrote, they can say what they want but anyone consedering thiere words as words of God, like the church did, is wrong..
This is interesting. I had always thought that the Quran was revealed to the Prophet by an Angel who was passing on the word from God. However, this can't possibly be true if you dont see how the Gospels and the rest of the Bible are not the word of God. The entire Bible from the Old Testament to the New Testament is God breathed and inspired through the Holy Spirit and this is stated within the scripture itself.

In light of what you've said here, it would imply that a message going through the line of God ->Angel->Man would also not be considered the word of God. Unless of course, you were ignoring the fact that the Christian Scripture says it is completely God breathed and inspired and not just a collage of personal pieces.

Also out of curiosity, would you say that all Hadith(s) are negligible because they are simply the words of man?

The church merely didn't consider something the word of God simply based on blind faith alone. Faith + action = results. The work of the Holy spirit is proof of that alone. I'm not sure what religion you follow or believe, or even if all denominations of Christianity believe this, but I believe that the Holy spirit lives within each person who has given themselves to Christ. The gift of discernment/distinguishing things which are of God is a spiritual gift, but even with that aside, the Spirit works and knows what is truth (what is from itself) and what is not. Not to mention that there is a lot to be said in defense of the authenticity of the Bible as well. But even with that aside, it's important to remember that when you talk about "legit" Christianity, such Christians are empowered by God. It's not merely a bluff. And this support from God is more of a confirmation that the word we read to learn more about God is true and authentic.

You misunderstand. The HOLY SPIRIT is eternal and that is the LORD, they refer to the birth of the material human BODY, the soul that resides in the Body is Eternal for it is the HOLY SPIRIT there at the beginning of creations. We too have souls that inhabits bodies that die. when we get resurrected we will get bodies that never die to live forever in Heaven as Jesus showed us by letting his PHYSICAL body die on the cross and being ressurrected after the third day.

Jesus (peace be upon him) after his birth was a baby, was our lord who created us ababy ?
This was already addressed by Anandahya but just to reiterate, the birth of Christ as a baby was not the beginning of Christ. For one, there's no reason to believe that the Lord cannot come down in the form of a man. God also has appeared in the form of a burning bush, which can be seen as the lesser thing, a burning bush or a human? Yet notice no one questions God's image as the burning bush not being God. Short answer, yes, our Lord who created us did come in the form of a baby, that baby also went on to say "before Abraham was, I am," so obviously, he's not your NORMAL baby.

Mary was washing up jesus when he was ababy , our lord washed up ?

Jesus was going to the bathroom, was our lord going to the bathroom ?
I guess the answer here is also yes, but the real question is what is the point of these question? They're irrelevant at BEST and lead to no conclusions. For example, according to these question, if God/Allah ever spoke about being washed up, would you instantly throw away your belief in that God? Since when has washing up or using a bathroom becomes criteria for whether or not someone is God. Such things are actually baseless speculation used to mislead people by sounding like they make sense.

Mary was breast-feeding this baby , was mary breast-feeding our Creator? God ?
For the record, I'd say this is also kinda pointless as this again is not something that would disprove that Jesus is God. People make wild assumptions when it comes to things that may make Jesus appear in a light where he is not God. However, just to bring it up, there are people who say that Jesus was actually NOT breastfed according to Isaiah 7:15. I'd post it but then I'd have to post the whole paragraph so it's probably best you just search it on google.

Actually, what you're talking about is not about making Adam or Eve come out as God but rather the son of God. Virgin birth is not the sign of being God but rather a specific prophecy for when God did come down in human form. However, in respect to what you're saying, it can be seen in Luke 3:38 that Adam is also called the Son of God. Also, 1 Corinthians 15:45 refers to Christ as the "last adam."

And as for Christ being just another Creation, it's more about Christ coming down in the form of one of his creation. Not that he was created when he was a baby. This goes back to my burning bush example. I know that Muslims also believe in the Torah, but do they throw away their belief in God because God appeared to Moses as a simple creation such as the burning bush? Of course not, and this is not that different.

Laid down his life?? That mean that he was willing to lite the people to put him on the cross, what was that then, Matthew 27:46 ((Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying,“ My God, My God, why have Thou forsaken me'' ))
If you were to continue reading that verse it would go on to say "but not my will but yours be done." Let's not forget that Christ laying down his life is a SACRIFICE. This means that there is some sort of loss associated with it. The entire divine plan of the crucifixion of Christ was God's way of stepping in personally and paying the price for all sins. It shouldn't be a surprise that this was not "enjoyable" for God seeing as to how he hates sin.

The Jewish people worshiped this Lord of Host and believed Him to be God. However there is debate on that issue and whether Allah and the Christian God are the same being worshiped by Muslims, Christians and Jews.
Personally I don't know the answer to that.
One thing that many non-Hebrew speaking Jews and Christians mistake about is the name of GOD Almighty in the Bible. ((Yahweh)) in Hebrew means ((The LORD)) or the ((The GOD)). It is not a name, look at the following quotations from Christian and Jewish resources:
"Judaism teaches that while God's name exists in written form, it is too holy to be pronounced. The result has been that, over the last 2000 years, the correct pronunciation has been lost." (Mankind's Search for GOD, p. 225).
The name of our Creator is not ((God)) or ((Yahweh)), you can see that the pronunciation for the original name for GOD Almighty had been lost, and the Jews have no idea what the exact pronunciation is from their Holy Scriptures and resources.
"About 3,500 years ago, God spoke to Moses, saying: 'Thus shall you speak to the Israelites: The LORD [Hebrew: YHWH], the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: This shall be My name forever, this My appellation for all eternity.' (Exodus 3:15; Psalm 135:13)" (Mankind's Search for GOD, p.225).
"....the four Hebrew consonants YHWH (Yahweh) that in their Latinized form have come to be known over the centuries in English as JEHOVAH." (Mankind's Search for GOD, p.225).
So the word ((YHWH)) or ((Yahweh)) or ((Jehovah)) is not the ORIGINAL name, but the appellation (title) for the Almighty GOD. This is perfectly fine, because Jews, Christians and Muslims call on to GOD Almighty as "The LORD" or "The GOD", which means "Yahweh" ((or)) "Jehovah" in Hebrew and {Al-Rab} in Arabic. {Al-Rab} in Arabic and ((Yahweh)) in Hebrew and the other translations in all other languages are indeed GOD Almighty's title. But they are NOT His original Name! What is the original name of our Creator then.
look at what Exodus 3:15 and Psalm 135:13 from the NIV Bible say: "God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, `The LORD [Notice that they didn't write Jehovah. "The LORD" in only a title], the God of your fathers--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob--has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation. (From the NIV Bible, Exodus 3:15)"
"Your name, O LORD, endures forever, your renown, O LORD, through all generations. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 135:13)"
So as we see from the above Verses from the NIV Bible, the original name for GOD Almighty is not ((Yahweh)). The title ((The LORD)) is only a title and a nick name (if you will) that we give to GOD Almighty, But ((Yahweh)) is definitely NOT THE ORIGINAL NAME for GOD Almighty, {Allah} on the other hand is a name, Jews and Christians do not know what is the original name of the Creator, Muslims bilieve that the original name of our lord is {Allah}.

So tell me the origins of the name Allah? I know the names of God in the Hebrew, Greek, Aramic, etc that are in the Bible. I was a religious studies major and learned obsure languages such as Tibetan, Sanskrit, and Ancient chinese. I'm not an expert just a student, so teach me what does Allah mean and why should I believe that Muslims are worshiping the same God as spoken of in the Bible? tell us what does Allah teach that would save the world? tell me how the Koran is not a book of laws, show me how it saves without the salvation of Jesus on the cross?

Note: i know many Muslims who are great people, kind compassionate, but I worry for their souls for they do not know the gift and salvation of Jesus through acceptance of the Holy Spirit.

therefore tell me something that will reassure me that Mohammhad was not a false prophet and leading God's children away from the salvation of Jesus, because right now I'm not so sure, but i am willing to learn.

What happens to muslims when they slip and fall into sin?

[/COLOR]

PS we speak God's name in our heart using the spiritual gift of tongues, His name is not lost to those who believe.

In the Bible there is the Hebrew word Elohim which is used to describe God Almighty and false gods.

Jesus speaks of it too. If you were Christian I would give you verses but since you are not and I haven't read all of the Koran yet I can not make too much comment. The One true God can not been seen and the person live.

just because you call a being GOD does not make that being GOD that created the world. Satan claims falsely to be the ruler of this world but GOD controls all. I just wanted to know what happens to Muslims if they fail to follow all the laws?

where is the salvation and grace found in believing in Jesus and redemption on the Cross?

so far Islam as I've heard of it reminds me of the Jews who refuse to accept Jesus as the answer, the Messiah, the savior of the world.

what new knowledge did Mohummad bring that are not found in the BIBLE?

Why did he add upon it and invoke the curse found at the end of Revelations

Revelations 23: 18 "for I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book: and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the BOOK of LIFE, from the holy city and from the things which are written in this book. "

tell me why Christians should believe that since he adds and denies Jesus as the Son of God, believers should not question his prophecy and message and its source?

Like i said I believe many Muslims are very good and devote people. I do not believe people are EVIL but sometimes the Enemy plants seeds in minds of people that lead to demonic worship and not worship of GOD. that is what I'm worried about.

Until I read the whole Koran I can not tell you if I think Islam is "evil" but right now I am not convinced it is holy of GOD either. but I will be in prayer about it.

May Allah reveal Himself as either God or not, we will see. the middle east is in turmoil will Truth and Justice prevail or will more corruption take its place??? It is all in God's hands and all we can do is pray for mercy and grace for those suffering.

Dear Lord I don't know the answers but YOU do, therefore help us to SEE the world as you see and help us to love those you love and rebuke those who you would have us speak against. LORD save and keep us, In Jesus name I pray.

Note on names: Jesus means "savior"
