as long as the humour is not at the expense of someone's emotional welbeing,or causes hurtfulness, humour is good and healthy...i always appreciate it when someone can manage to make me laugh :)
 
God most definitely has a sense of humor

last Saturday I went to bed saying "God, I am NOT setting my alarm, if you want me to get to church, you wake me up early"
... I woke up at 5.30 the following morning and was unable to go back to sleep
 
I think you should be able to laugh at yourself, and know when a joke at your expense is understood to be humour you can throw back in a banterous social group :)
Jokes can be used for good and for bad.
 
it was nice :) the preacher talked about standing firm in faith, even when it looks like God is "Ignoring" you
 
I'm a bit of a class clown sometimes, all my teachers and most of my fellow students find me funny. I don't think its evil, if the humor is clean and doesn't offend anyone then why would it be.
 
no, but it can look like it

like the verse with the woman asking Jesus to heal her daughter, he dismisses her several times before healing the daughter
 
Having a sense of humor is a necessity! Laughter is the best medicine. Prov. 17:23 " A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." As others have said a clean, joyful, sense of humor, not negative, mean-spirited humor that breaks someone down.
