Alby, that's not actually Adam is it, it's a painting
an impression by an artist, his idea of how Adam would look.
This is a bible discussion forum not an art museum. :)

Whipered, I did ask that people don't bring their old grievances against other in to this place.
With respect, we are not interested in old grievences, leave them at the door, forgive and move
on that is the Christian way.

As to replacement theology,
This what Saint Paul has to say about the Jew and Gentiles

Rom. 11:11-24 KJV
11 I say then, Have they stumbled [speaking of the Jews] that they should fall? God forbid:
but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches
of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles,
I magnify mine office:

14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might
save some of them.

15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving
of them be, but life from the dead?

16 For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted
in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.

20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not
highminded, but fear:

21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but
toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to
graft them in again.

24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary
to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches,
be grafted into their own olive tree?

Paul is clear, the Jew is cast off, and will not be restored until they accept Jesus as the Redeemer.
The God we worship is the Triune God, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. There are Christian groups
that worship the Father but reject the Son, (Mormons & JW's), and there are those that reject the
Holy Spirit is a person (Quakers & Mennonites). Jesus is clear when He tells the disciples in the
upper room that He and the Father are one. Also that He wills end the paraclate in His name
and He will teach in al things. Unless a man subscribes to the Triune God he is in danger of
damnation.

Remeber in Col. 2:9 it says: The fullness of God is found bodily in Him [Jesus Christ]

God is not a man as us. Three things make him God. God is light. God is love. God is Spirit.

I would offer no such thing as replacement theology . The Jewish flesh inherited from the Amorites and Hittites .Abraham's, as a new name came from mother and father. Abraham a metaphor was used to represent our father in heaven not seen. The holy place of faith. The flesh was set aside to be used in various parables to represent faith and unbelief (no faith) . You could say in the same way he used animals as metaphors ceremonially. Clean animals represent faith, unclean or unredeemed flesh... no faith.

One bride made up of all the nations of the world. We walk by faith the unseen eternal not by sight after the temporal.

Redemption Through the Blood of Christ
11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come,[e] then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) 12 he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify[f] for the purification of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our[g] conscience from dead works to serve the living God. the
life of the flesh is in the blood but is not literal blood. literal blood without the Spirit eseence of life has no spirit life to give. Jesus said; his flesh aside from the unseen Spirit profits for nothing zero zip. Both the Catholics and the JW's hope it can and does .

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:

We are saved by Christ' work of faith as a three day labor of his love. Dead corrupted flesh has nothing to offer as a living sacrifice .
We do not know Christ after the rudiments of this world .He who is not a man as us cannot be found under a microscope.

I admit I'm a bit perplexed. I didn't bring a grievance into this. I was responding to what you wrote that concerned me:
Remember your post below? What compelled you to say that when you weren't quoting a member?

I have not seen anything really bad between Whispered and others,

but look what I suggest when you don't agree is not to make it personal.
If you say, 'You ignored this or that', or 'Don't try to teach me.'
Those are personal statements,

try to make them impersonal, like, 'I see in Genesis this,'
or 'I wonder if you could consider the Masoretic text on this, I find it useful.'

That way is to avoid rage and accusations and counter accusations. :)

Magenta said she doubted we were all Christian in here.
Well, then we and they should behave as Christians. :)

it is funny, but, it's a painting of a wrong understanding, like the paintings of Christ on the cross looking confused & scared - and the sermons that portray Him that way.
when God asks Woman what is it she has done? she doesn't say anything about deceiving or enticing Adam - she confesses to having been deceived, and eating. God accepts her answer, covers her, and promises The Redeemer - and the same to Adam. so the "this" God is referring to isn't 'causing Adam to fall' -- which means if you think Adam blames her and blames God, that Adam is lying to God and refusing to confess his own sin, that either God doesn't care if she leads him into sin or that God doesn't care that Adam lies to Him & calls Him the tempter & the author of evil.

I know it looks funny to us ... but really when we think about it, what was Adam's choice in the situation? Leave his wife, who was part of him and who he loved? He left his Father to become one flesh with Eve ... Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh - Gen 2:24.

And then extrapolate that out to envision how Adam is a type ... a foreshadow ... of Christ, Who left His Father to come in the likeness of sinful flesh in order to condemn sin in the flesh.

There is only one Redeemer and it was not Adam, even though he did what he did in joining Eve. But Adam points to the one Redeemer of all mankind. Our Redeemer brings us back to the Father where we find fullness of joy.

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
