Now, this is a sensitive position for me applying likely for dual citizenship, having Canadian birth rights. But, I am an American citizen by nature of having lived in an American state, even though Alaska is in a bit of a neutral position.

But, it is not helpful for a "sister country" citizen, if that's a good term, or anyone else to dishonor an American president considering this country's mutual defense of our Ally to the north, or to say a national leader is not honoring the Bible when he and the First Lady are both Christians.
I'm not here to sit in judgement on Trump, just expressing an opinion...many Americans share their views on Canada's Prime Minister Trudeau, often negative. FWIW I grew up in NY, NJ and OR however I was born in Canada...we moved to NYC before I turned 1 year old. My brother though was born in NJ and has dual status....he only voted once, in 2008 for Obama because he wanted to be able to say he voted for him. I didn't always agree with Obama's politics, but I did like the manner in which he conducted himself when people protested at his rallies...

One thing I learned about socialists is that the only border they recognize is their own. They are incessant in spreading their socialist ideology to any and every Nation, but they don't want anyone spreading democracy or Christanity into their country.

Well, I haven't heard anything about Prime Minister Trudeau that would be grounds for impeachment, but I do know that Canadian geese have been crossing the border illegally for decades and creating emergencies for American parks and recreation, and lost revenues for overtime hours for park employees.

It is possible that some of those geese could be carrying sophisticated Russian spy camera's that look like goose tags, which could be effecting American elections.
And Canadian geese can not be indicted, so they may have diplomatic immunity, which makes them very dangerous, and could create a very messy situation, if you know what I mean.

Maybe you should check into that...

I suspect that if the election result had been Hillary, we would be at the same place today with the republicans in charge of impeachment. We have become a nation of sore losers.
I beg to differ. When the GOP has lost a race, they did not act up, incite a riot, &c. When Gov. Bevin lost, he should have conceded that night. But he's the only one who I know of on the GOP side that raised a ruckus. 3 + years later and the Democrats are still in an uproar.

The impeachment of an incumbent president is no light matter. But the Democrats have made a TOTAL MOCKERY of the meaning and the reasons for impeachment. In fact they all should be prosecuted for abusing their positions and making a circus out of government.

Because the Democrats do not have a SINGLE credible and viable candidate for president, they believe that abusing the concept of impeachment will open the door to one of those clowns who wish to run for office. Shame on both Democrats and Republicans for allowing this farce and witch hunt to go on and on and on.
Why lump the GOP in with the Democrats? I ask this sincerely. What steps can they do to stop the Dems?

President Trump is far from perfect, and I was never under the assumption of him being a Christian. I liken him to King Cyrus in the book of Ezra. He was good to the Jews, and even allowed them to go to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. President Trump has been kind to us Christians, but him selecting Paula White as his 'spiritual' advisor?  That's impeachable. ;)

I had to look up Paula white. I don't keep up with televangelists or mega churches. When I look into those I end up shaking my head and walking away.
I have a buddy that loves Steven Furdic, and he sends me messages the guy preached. I will some times listen, but nearly always wonder what on Earth was his message about? I have told my friend that I don't much care for this guy's preaching, because I never know what he is talking about.
I need a preacher who teaches arch principles, theology, Christology, and conviction.

You haven't heard of our SNC Lavelin scandal....or about the repeated breaches of Canada's ethics rules. We don't have an impeachment type mechanism though, we're stuck with Trudeau for another couple years anyway. With a parliamentary system and the Liberals only having a minority of the seats (the most, but less than half) we'll probably be voting in the next 18-30 months.

As for the geese, when they come over you can keep them....annoying hissing nasty things.

The so-called Republicans in office have been capitulating to the the evil Democrats for so long, that they have forgotten their responsibilities to the country and its citizens. And that is why they lost the House.

The Senate Republicans could have sent Schiff a strong warning at the start that they would simply DISMISS this bogus Impeachment Witch Hunt, and then take legal action against those who are abusing their powers in Congress. See Mark Levin's comments in Breitbart News from a couple of days ago.

The Republicans in Congress could have scheduled a press conference in which they would have systematically and in detail condemned both the Mueller Witch Hunt (which was based upon illegal abuse of power) and the Schiff Witch Hunt (which is also based upon the illegal abuse of power) and called for an independent investigation into both witch hunts.

They could have produced their own report about how millions of the tax-payer dollars have been wasted over the course of three years, while churning out bogus allegations against the President. And then called for an independent investigation into everything related to attacks on Trump.

The Leftists have been unjustly accusing President Trump of abusing his powers, but he has been denied due process by this bogus Democrat impeachment effort, which has ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTANCE. Even the use of the term "whistleblower" has been abused, since he committed no crime or wrongdoing. In fact it is the Bidens who should have been investigated.

As regards the Mueller Witch Hunt "A very important principle related to the 4th and 5th Amendments is the “exclusionary rule,” which established the principle that evidence gathered illegally cannot be used in a trial. Illegally garnered evidence must be “excluded.” " Those FISA warrants were obtained illegally but no one has been prosecuted for this. Add to that the partisan shenanigans of FBI personnel which have all been exposed. Surely there are plenty of laws to stop this kind of malfeasance.

I was wondering if there were any legal remedies they could have sought, as in getting lawyers to stop their abuses. But I agree with EVERYTHING you said here. Mark Levin is a good guy to listen to.

I am sure there are many Constitutional experts out there who know the laws in depth, and could build a solid case case against the Democrats. But someone should show some leadership, and stop these shenanigans while the business of government goes down the drain.

I really like Lindsay Graham, but he wasn’t like this until after McCain passed away. I believe too many are afraid to step on other’s toes. They’re there to represent their district, not to be afraid of hurting ppl’s feelings,

i think Americans should have a say in removing the MUCH more wicked Trudeau!
That's an excellent idea. Trudeau should be taken captive by Special Forces and dropped off in Cuba. After all he praised the Castros to high heaven. But chances are they would put him in prison for being so moronic.

Impeachment is not removal from office. It is the process of due diligence in order to determine the actions of a sitting president warrant the due process of prosecution under the high crimes and misdemeanors statutes of our Constitution. In other words it is merely a pre trial. If a decision is made that there sufficient evidence for prosecution then another trial must take place to determine whether or not the alleged crime is punishable by law. Bill Clinton was impeached, but no evidence was brought forward of high crimes and or misdemeanors. Therefore he was never officially charged in court. No warrant was issued. Only Andrew Johnson
has ever gotten past this preliminary stage, however he had already been replaced by U. S. Grant thus; It was a waste of time and money.

If it can be determined that a sitting president is to ill, disabled or incompetent (mental illness counts) then he can be relieved of duty like a captian at sea. No criminal prosecution would be required. No harm, no foul. He (or She) may simply go home.

Well, I have always enjoyed traveling through Canada by car, or flying with my father or via sea.
I live up north, and wilderness travel through the Yukon and British Columbia is a very scenic and enjoyable challenge.

I plan on resolving my Canadian citizenship, and like my late parents, especially my mother, have always felt close to Canada. I would like to learn more about Canada, which seems like a quiet, friendly place where my family has a long history, and a welcome vacation from the hectic pace of America, and the remoteness of Alaska, even though I am grateful for living here as well. Why does everyone dislike Trudeau? That's
usually a sign you're doing something right. Like all the hounds on my @#*
But, you are talking to someone who appreciates all kinds of birds. Never been attacked by a goose. Can't say the same about my ex-wife.
But, Come on. Snakes are nasty, hissing things, not loveable geese! I could blast a @#snake into smithereens without missing a sip of Canadian beer, but I couldn't shoot a bird. But if people want to go duck hunting that's their business. But, I don't think there's any guns in Canada. They don't even let alaskans bring in bear spray, let alone guns. Canada geese are protected too I think? Except for Eskimos, at least here, or anyone who's stranded camping and runs out of food.

But, a wild goose looks just like a domestic goose, once you get it on the dinner table. Turkeys are pretty expensive, and no true Canadian would buy a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. There were no pilgrims in Canada. And pilgrims were pretty strange anyway. I can see why they got kicked out of England.

And just who determines this?
They tried to throw the Apostle Paul overboard too--
Right up until the point where God intervened.

Amazing that the only 2 "yes" votes are foreigners!

i think Americans should have a say in removing the MUCH more wicked Trudeau!

You think that'd be ok for us to muck around YOUR elected officials my Canadian friends?

oh brother

well no secret that I am Canadian and no secret either I support Pres. Trump

it's nonsense to state that Trudeau is much more wicked. that simply sounds like a 'you hurt me so now I'm gonna smack you back'. it is also a comparison to Trump and there is no comparison

further, this forum is open to anyone.

do you think there is actually any effect of a Canadian or any other sub-species (as compared to the perfect Americans) on whether or not someone is removed from office?

so touchy

Canadians can state whatever they want.

too bad, ay?
