Um.. not a slightest chance Heb. 12.2 is talking about being "reborn" my friend. That's assumption!:)
John 13:18
I do not speak of all of you. I know the ones I have chosen; but it is that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘HE WHO EATS MY BREAD HAS LIFTED UP HIS HEEL AGAINST ME.’

Acts 1:2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving ...
until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions
through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

Matthew 22:14 "For many are invited, but few are chosen."
"For many are invited, but few are chosen."

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special
possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of...

Acts 1:24 Then they prayed, "Lord, you know everyone's heart. Show ...
... heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen .....

Revelation 22:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Amen. And the ones that come are foreordained, drawn, and chosen before the foundation of the world.

Same Judas here too buddy. Unless you care to refute it with scripture.

The word of God speaks from the simplicity of that is in Christ. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

The problem is that your "foreordained, drawn and chosen" were never used in the whole Revelation 22:) It's been assumed!:)

Well sure, calvinist people would agree with that, the problem is that those texts of the freeness of salvation, don't destroy election, because its by grace alone that a person believes or repents or wills God.

Romans 9:16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.

The point is that Salvation is of God and not of Man.

Great. But you are willfully omitting vast vast quantities of Scripture. Such is the case with the end time liberal Churches.

"Many are called but few are chosen".

BTW....the root word for the Church (ekklēsia) is those who are "called".

"So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills."

So your position is that settled doctrine does not apply to the rest of scripture?
Good luck with that. Parsing out and cherry picking is what the cults do.

You are making assumptions yourself, you are concluding those verses wipe out election, instead of assuming they go together.

Umm nice saying of 'cherry picking'

2 Corinthians 2:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Misdirection. Good luck.

doesn't matter

the problem is making no allowance, AGAIN, for the fact that God works with what He has

in other words, God hardened Pharaoh's heart but Pharaoh hardened his own heart so God blessed him in that condition...multiplied it (a bit sarcastic there but I am sure you get it)

I did a post on that exact thing today somewhere around here

Calvinists will not answer to that because it destroys all this preordained, predetermined, postage paid salvation peddling

Actually Christ did it once and for all. Salvation is full and free! and it is by God's grace we are saved. Amen! Would you agree with is one? Would you believe it?

I believe in election. Jesus Christ is God’s elect. Israel is God’s elect nation. There are elect angels. In no case are these elected for salvation but for service.

Yes i believe salvation is by grace (God's free choice to give to the hell deserving bankrupt sinners he wants to or doesn't want to), something we don't deserve and can't earn, AMEN, i agree :)

God bless you brother, salvation is by grace alone, keep fighting for the truth!

Not really expecting you from this my friend. All I believe is what the bible says in the context. All the bible verses you just cited and quoted can be very explained within the context.

1 Corinthians 2:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Absolutely correct.
