OH man, if we all got to know each other pretty well, this would be a super fun idea for a future thread: Give a scenario and then ask, "What would such-and-such CC member say about this given situation?"

And we'd all answer as other CC members. :D

We've done things like that in the past and it was hilarious!

Maybe someday. :)

i think its a good idea. But I suspect people would be offended if I tried to imitate them. Especially the ladies . This forum is surpisingly loose for a Christian one.
Ive been totally roasted on Twitter so nothing much surprises me these days.

Yeah, threads like that are a lot of fun, but unfortunately, also seem to offend a lot of people. :(

We had a thread like the one we're talking about (in which members were asked to impersonate other members) and someone impersonated me by saying, "Well Seoulsearch would say... blah blah blah blah blah" for about half a page!!! :D

He was a friend of mine on the forum so it really had everyone laughing, including me. :)

But I think most people would be really offended by something like that. :(

And the new/quiet people would be hurt that they weren't mentioned, but I tend to only mention people I know I can get away with poking a little fun with (or at least, I THINK I can joke around with them, at least.)

This means I wind up mentioning the same people over and over again, and then people get upset because they says it's forming cliques, which I understand, but...

Yeah.

Trying to have fun.

It's complicated. :(

Ha!!!

Oh man, we have another match-up!!! :D

The only thing is that it gets kind of tricky...

People who are newer/more quiet might feel left out :(, and some people might feel offended even if they are mentioned. :(
There would have to be a consent statement, like 'I won't lose my temper and I won't tempt anyone else to' haha.

Let's live dangerously and give it a try!

What's the worst that could happen! (My inbox will be bombarded with coal.)

See you all in an upcoming thread. :)

As a representative of the easily offended people on here, I find it to be my honorable act of duty to declare, in advance, that you are hereby granted permission to offend the entire community of easily offended people.

He seems like a nice person, but I donโ€™t think I would say I like him without knowing him better.

Thatโ€™s a good question. Iโ€™d probably just like to keep it cordial at this point, so my feeling would be neutral. Neither upset nor relieved.
I think that is telling of all. If he stopped pursuing you, you wouldnโ€™t be bothered. That is a heart check for you and a great question StrugglingTilMyReward gave you to reflect.

And between us (inside joke), whatโ€™s his name? ๐Ÿ˜ โค๏ธ

The EOP group. Got a ring to it .
I might start a splinter group. VEOPs. Very Easily Offended People.

Good heavens.

I had no idea that Easily Offended People were organized enough (and could agree on something long enough) to break off into their own denominations!

We're all in trouble if that's the case.
