Luke 6v46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? 47 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:
Amen

Those who have no faith yet call him lord will not be saved.

If one looks at the note on this verse, or in the greek. The word (take away) is not the correct translation

The correct translation is LIFT UP.

it is a common known term in those who take care of these vinyards. When branches tough the ground, they die and do not produce fruit. So what they do is LIFT UP the branch, CUT OFF THE DEAD PARTS of the vine, so that the part that remains alive will not die and begin to produce fruit again.

It is not lose of salvation. It is cutting off our bad parts. so that we can grow and start to produce fruit.

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 9:30‭-‬33 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.9.30-33.KJV

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 11:1‭-‬6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.11.1-6.KJV
Notice how Paul seems to contradict himself:

1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. -Romans 11:1-2 KJV

15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? - Romans 11:15 KJV

Did he cast them away or did he not cast them away?

it's actually the opposite of what you say. We are saying the power of the cross far exceeds what you are acknowledging. It has the power to change the person into a new creation, with victory over sin and the flesh.

If this was true, You would acknowledge that a person WILL be changed, and not continue to persist a person MAY NOT bwe changed, or fall back losing salvation.

Your conclusions do not fit what you are saying.

The cross isn't just a forgiveness of sins. It's forgiveness + change.
Yep. Thats why Gods children WILL CHANGE (not might) thats why it is IMPOSSIBLE for a man or woman born of God to live in sin (1 John)

but you do not preach this.

if you only believed what you just said, You would understand WHY I believe the way I do

I trust God to save and change

You do not.

We do not ignore the living part. We endorse and preach it through discipleship.
I WONDER if these loser spiritual BUMS only obey their parents and try to please them because of the CONSTANT THREAT of being disowned hanging over their heads? Or is it because they LOVE their parents and want them to be proud that their son made it?

Just thinking out loud btw I seasoned my insults with love before I typed em out so it should be AIIGHT

Even though the Israelites believed in God, they backslid.

They were not eternally secure.
THEY DID NOT BELIEVE FROM THE BEGINING ALL THEY DID WAS PROVE THEY DID NOT TRUST GOD BY THEIR COMPLAINING.

THEY WERE NOT SECURE BECAUSE THEY NEVER HAD FAITH

Yes, I don't disagree with anything you have just posted.
Where we diverge is that you are of the opinion that:
1) a One Time Belief is sufficient, whereas I believe that you are to Continually Believe.
2) a lifestyle of disobedience is no risk to your eternal security (because you cannot become unsaved), whereas my position is that you are to repent and put to death the misdeeds of the body.
3) you (possibly) believe that sin doesn't actually exist anymore, whereas I believe there is a war between the flesh and the Spirit, by which your Soul is faced with a choice daily to live according to the Spirit so as not to fulfill the lusts of the flesh
4) You believe apostasy (falling away) is not possible. I believe there is scriptural evidence that apostasy can occur.
5) You believe in eternal security NO MATTER WHAT someone does thereafter, I believe in Eternal Security to those who continue in the Faith.
Can you please respond to the passage

I am not going to respond if you are not going to respond to my comments.

I respond to yours. are you able to respond to me?

Al you just proved in what you just said is you do not understand john 6 at all.

Can you show me those verses? If you did not see the message I sent to Bill, I want to send this out here to you so you see it as you were a target of my too snappy messages. Bill's message caused me to delete one I just sent, previous ones I could not delete, I had no issue with me dealing with the topic at hand, but I wish to take back how personal I took it and how I spoke to you as if I was dealing with a non-believer, that was out of line, despite doctrinal disagreements we are all Christians here.
I just gave you a whole passage where Jesus himself PROVES it Care to respond?

Ahhhh. So please quote the James 2 passages please. Lets get into it.
We must discuss John 6 first

Or is that too hard for you?

You continue to ignore and refuse to discuss a passage. why is this? Then you expectme to discuss another passage with you?

Sorry my friend, but thats prety low.

Here is a FUN exercise:

With the premise that salvation CAN be lost, BE HONEST when reading Hebrews 10:26. It says ONE WILLFUL SIN and its GAME OVER. Pair that up with Hebrews 6:4-6 and you can never get it back. IN OTHER WORDS: 100% of Christians are LOST

So you got two honest answers left:
1. Either no one has ever entered the faith to begin with and Hebrews 10:26 dont apply
2. Everyone done lost their salvation.

I had one family member twist Hebrews 10:26 to say Its like WILLFUL meaning not if you just succumb to temptation, but if you just decide OK I will go and do it right now I dont care, no temptation no nothing.

People gotta twist Hebrews 10:26 a LITTLE BIT if they believe they can lose their salvation and YOU GUYS always quote that as a proof-text so we know you believe thats what it says

IM A WARRIOR
You should wait until this happens! And then "reissue" this commentary.:

Isaiah 28
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

Ya see? I had no idea of that which had happened to me after THAT had happened to me!
Which sent me scouring through the Bible, in search of: "Did this "event" that I experienced, actually come from God?"

Yes, it did!

Believe it, or not!

When, not if, this happens? You'll be looking for a rock to hide under and finding none. You'll be crying out to the mountains to fall on you to escape His "Great" love, which reveals how "Terrible" you are, and just how "short of the mark", you have achieved!
You'll be looking for Jesus, but not finding Him!

This "event" spoken of in Isaiah? Is different from being "pricked to the heart", or "convicted."

God goes after the lost sheep. This is likened to the Holy Spirit convicting of sin and drawing back. The prodigal son came to the realisation that it was better in his fathers house.

Not every prodigal son returns to his fathers house. He had to repent, and return. He WENT back.
Luke 15: 4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

John 10 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice

25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, [e]as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”

why do sheep not follow?

25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep,

Your nose is getting out of joint, and you are getting hyped up. Relax. No offense is intended. You are allowing the scriptures to get under your skin. Perhaps it might be doing its intended work.
Your refusal to acknowledge your own sins is your downfall

I am not getting out of shape. I am calling out a liar. who has to lie about others in order to make himself seem to be true, Because you are unabe to listen to people to see what they really beieve.

Just like you are unable to look at John 6. It would have been easy for you to refute me on yet you did not because you CAN NOT.

so what do you do? You attack others with false truths. because it is all you have.

Once again, Stop bearing false witness against others. If you want to discuss the word. Prove it by discussing it. If you want to continue to bear false witness, that will be on your head. and will put to an end any frueitful discussion

Both of these ideas are expressed in class. Grk. by the mid. αἴρεσθαι.

I hope all my brothers and sisters in Christ have a lovely holiday season and new year.😁

God is wonderful and despite all the hardships we may face, He is here for us and provides many opportunities to do good and to learn.

Kinda off topic but many of those I have spoken to the most over the years check here....

Let's do our best to show how grateful we are to Him who saved us and made us new this next year by showing His love in us and doing our best to remember all the blessings we have had and who we are in Christ.

The thing is, I think we're BOTH right.

You believe you can lose your salvation. I believe you can too.

But I CAN'T lose MINE! Because I KNOW the One who gave it, holds, and keeps it, and He KNOWS me! Jesus Christ. My Lord and Savior, who told me there is NOTHING conceivable that can separate me from Him. That NO ONE, not even ME can snatch me out of His Hand, that has SEALED me unto the day of redemption with the Holy Spirit.

So congratulations! YOU, are right!
:) Yep? That's what they all say!
Right?
