Into the nothingness
My young mind goes
Seeking nothing but
What might gently
Appear like a breeze
Whistling through the
Pines of a lonely village
Where there is no one
But the mournful sound
Of a hollow echo and I
Wonder why I sense
Something far beyond
Any experience of my
Young human mind
And so many years later
While I reminisce I find
It was always God.
