God can revoke and pull one's cord on any day he so chooses. Many men's names shall be struck from that great Book at the end of time. We must not point a bony finger at God and tell Him what He can and cannot not do.
Not hardly pal.....irrevocable means exactly that.....you guys absolutely call God a liar everytime you post crap like the above!

GOD IS ALL KNOWING, HE GAVE SALAVATION to those who HE KNEW would not fall away, before time began.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Revelation 17:8 (NKJV)
8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Nice twist.....

BELIEVED

OBEY

What part of those two words make them the same thing....

ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD and it was put to his account for righteousness

This is one reason why you and your pals peddle false gospels....constantly conflating words and denying the definitions of the words given.......sickening....!
You do not understand how faith in God leads to our obedience!!

Goodness gracious me. How peculiar.

I understand fine how you cannot grasp the truth that faith is what God is looking for genius...and Abraham was justified by FAITH...carry on with your conflated false gospel pal....most already know you are off mark by a mile!

that is what religion does, it produces a constant fear of losing salvation.
Who's afraid?
You only have to be afraid if you turn away from trusting in Christ.
As long as you're trusting in Christ nothing can touch you.

Hebrews 7:25
Consequently, He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
That's right.
That's why we are exhorted to keep believing and trusting in such a great High Priest.

"14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess." - Hebrews 4:14

Since Christ's ministry is so much better (compared to the ministry of the Levites), don't give up on it. Keep believing in it. If your faith in Christ ends, his intercessory ministry for you will end to. Don't throw away your confidence in such a great hope.

Those who have faith without works have no faith because it is dead therefore James goes hand in hand with Jude.

You have to use the volume of the book or look at everything on a macro level and not micro.

Abraham was not Justified by works but by his belief however it was his belief that stirred works and /or obedience which was added to his faith and completed it or made it whole.

Rom 4:1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
Rom 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Rom 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Jas 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are to live by faith and works is what complete our faith. At a certain point or maturity nothing is obtained or maintained without works which is a fact of life or the sum of my life experiences and observations.

Seems like your using sins of the past as scapegoat to justify faithless works of the present and future.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Rev 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Abraham did not earn his salvation by works. Niether has any other person whoever walked the earth.

james and Judes condemnation was against people who claimed to have faith, but still lived like the world. Showed no change in life. Claimed they followed Christ, but in reality followed their own selfish ways they may “believe” Jesus lived and died, but they have no faith in him at all

true faith makes us new creatures. They will be som type of change, many things we used to do, we will no longer do. Because it is against our new nature, that’s why true faith works

people want these works to be part of their means to maintaining their salvation. They are trying to earn the salvation that was pain on the cross. And mock the cross of Christ.

sorry, to say works are required is to mock paul, mock Christ, and to mock the gospel of salvation,

works are not required. They are a byproduct of faith.
Ie, if I CLAIM to have faith and works are a byproduct of faith, yet I do not have any works, in essence, I had no faith

since salvation is through faith, if I never had faith I never had salvation,

I may be a dog who tries to act like a new creature, but I will always return to my vomit. Why? That’s what I am.

How hard is it to grasp...WORKS or GRACE...ONE or the OTHER......and for SURE not blended to gain the eternal life afforded by salvation when one believes......
If people would stop worrying about what everyone else is doing, and start worrying about their own situation, they would wake up and see true grace because they would finally see their own sin, instead of hiding behind the fact they are not as bad as these others so they must be ok

thats a lie fabricated by satan himself

the greek word for apostasy - apostasia- only used 2 times in N.T.

meaning- defection, a revolt, a departure from previous standing.

in other words, a purposeful turning away, as in one at one point believing , then turning away from believing .]

so, a willful act. no losing salvation, no salvation being taken away.

like most Bible thumpers, you toss around words with no clue as to what they actually mean.

maybe take a break from empty threats of loss of salvation and learn some theology...
You reject the plain scriptures. You assert that a person can stop believing in Christ but still obtain salvation. Despite the volume of scriptures warning about this.

The one who giveth the gift can taketh the gift away.
Only if he is not a righteous person.

a gift is freely given and asks nothing in return,if the giver takes the gift back, it was no gift.it was a down payment.

our salvation is by grace.not by works, God did not give us a down payment, he gave us the real thing.

Then God can not be trusted. And his “love” he claims to have is no love at all, and in reality God demands we love unconditionally when he himself does not follow through doing the same.

What is worse, they deny they fear. But let’s look deep. How can they not fear. They have again lied to themselves.

Sure ...that makes sense.....find that in scripture.

Oh wait you can't because it is not there.
Hebrews 6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 [c]if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Made it a big font for you.
