I don't know steve quayle but I typically don't completely write someone off or accept everything they say.
Chuck Missler had a very interesting approach and I agreed with much of what he said in direct relation to the saving gospel. (can't remember even one large difference or disagreement off the top of my head not having listened to any of his work in over a year)
A lot of the other stuff which relates science or theories or history I may differ from more.
I expect to see Chuck in heaven because I believe his faith was in Christ.

In the past I've listened to both. Imo, Chuck Missler is a learned man and presents back-up for his hypothesis'. Some are very intricate and you really have to keep up with his presentations, but they are awesome, for the most part.
Steve Quayle I don't listen to anymore. He has gotten on what I would call a fear-mongering track with some scary scenarios. Last time I heard he doesn't believe in the rapture, and I actually called him on it on talk radio 'Coast to Coast' and he got flustered. Btw, I only listen to C2C if the topic interests me.

I go along with the Biblical stories re giants. It seems whenever someone, even here in the US, digs one up 'someone' comes and takes them....somewhere. Why 'someone' doesn't want this info out may be because of the reference to the Bible??? One thing, God made it clear we could conquer giants (by Faith) ie King David.

No. In his ministry, Chuck used to share the pulpit with Jews, as if non-Christians could impart Godly wisdom to Christians. This doesn't mean everything he said was wrong, but certainly his words should be diligently verified. He started believing in some weird stuff toward the end.
I listen to Chuck Missler occasionally on CSN. It's usually at 5pm EST here. I didn't realize he had moved on.
When I found the broadcast, it was a pretty cool feeling. I can't say I 100% agree with everything he said (that I recall), but it was certainly entertaining for me to listen to.
By entertaining I mean, hey you are actually teaching scripture precept by precept as you understand it and while I don't think anyone has the full revelation of the word, besides "the word" it was encouraging to know there are people out there that do that.
I'm 50/50 on whether it's just "dusty bible study" or "living word encounter", so there is that.
Both are appreciated, I feel like there is something to be gleaned by humanistic bible studies so long as nothing is in direct opposition, although that isn't everyone's interest.
The other guy I'm not really familiar with. Were they a team at some point? I know someone that listens to podcasts similar to what has been said in the thread so I'll ask them and see. Based off what they have said, I see anything having to do with giants as conspiratorial and irrelevant.
We know they lived. If they are being covered up, what does it matter? Giants weren't EVER spoken of in a positive light in the word. I've heard people illustrate their curiosities and I find that dangerous. You can also see this curiosity in media representations. At least CS Lewis in the silver chair (narnia) portrayed them more true to biblical form.
It is interesting that you can see even the portrayals in the media as vastly negative, but with some "chance" that some might have some "good" in them. Of course, clear issues can be seen with this mentality.

I said yes.. that that was to Chuck Missler. Well name the preacher you listen to that says "don't trust me. You search this out you find it in the word" I can't tell you how many times had had said that. Now.. not going to sit here and go on and on about what anyone has missed failed at. Praise GOD every preacher has done this. As for Steve Quayle. I have listen to him before but that was on something ..hmm strange he was talking about I wanted to get more info on. Other then that I can't say.
So to hear you go study you go search this don't just take my word for it. YES amen. To many of US just blindly follow someone that AGREES with how we personally believe. I know I can be wrong. So if its written in His word.. is what I look for.
I am very familiar with Chuck Missler (may he rest in peace in Heaven), and I believe his teachings had very good intentions. As Blade had said, he emphasized a great deal about not taking his word on anything and go read the Bible youself. Although he is not perfect, and I do not agree with some of his stances on Gap-theory, Torah codes, and the metaphysics of time, he had a way of stimulating your mind to ask questions you never thought to ask before and search for them. I recommend listening to his Learn the Bible in 24 Hours lectures.
As for Steve Quayle, I have heard of him and have listened to him once or twice, although it was awhile ago. I think he went more extreme compared to Chuck Missler did on a few things, although I can't comment much.
No matter what though, never blindly trust what any teacher tells you, always check all of their statements against the Word.

Chuck Missler was a smart man who gave a detailed analysis of Holy Scripture. I trust his teachings and with his background in engineering and the sciences, the Lord used him in powerful ways for apologetics. He was a dispensationalist, where i've learned you can get too carried away with "signs of end times" and the Lord's return. Chuck Smith was in that camp and his teachings went too far back in the early 80's predicting our Lord's return. But like Missler, I still valued Smith's teachings.
I cannot comment on Steve Quayle as I don't know who he is.
