2 Peter 2:22
Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.”

Pure supposition on your part, and your wrong again.

It's a reference to what you do here daily.

Proverbs 26:11
As a dog returns to his own vomit, So a fool repeats his folly.

Here's another one for you...

Proverbs 26:12
Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
And this proves once saved always saved how?
Thanks for proving my point.

For a few years I worked with people who had physical handicaps and others with learning difficulties. How are they going to do any works? They couldn't get out of a wheel-chair without help.
The fruit of the Spirit is what it's all about.

its talking about dog not sheep i believe was his point
No, he was attacking instead of engaging our discussion.
He would have been better off utilizing the passage as once saved always saved does.
Which is what I addressed, and instead of engaging the discussion about it he chose to attack instead.

The Father draws us to Jesus, who then raises us to spiritual life, resulting in a new creation. And the object of our faith is Him, not in our act of believing
Yes, Jesus is the object of our Faith, that is the noun Pistis, a person place or thing.

Pisteuo the corresponding verb, is the specific act, based upon a specific belief, sustained by a specific kind of confidence to that object of Faith.

Which is just what it says on the Vines Greek dictionary, " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender."

We do this not Him!

There is no discussion to be had with you.

You are here for the sake of debate, not discussion.

Someone should have set you straight a long time ago.

We aren't your babysitters dude!

Actually, I'm here to offer those not directly engaged in the discussion the truth they are not hearing about the fallacy of once saved always saved. See, most in the church live in the box of their own little doctrinal constructs that their particular denomination has taught them, and they never get to hear any other possible understandings and insights of these kinds of subjects. I was like that to some extent once, though it was really more of a self imposed doctrinal restriction. Then I saw, thanks to the internet, how there are other honest and reasonable interpretations to various scriptures for which I was sure there could be no other way to look at them.

People in the church have to understand that their denominations exist to carefully insulate and protect their $congregants$ from being exposed to, and losing them to, competing understandings of doctrine. The true servant of God is not afraid to let believers be exposed to all thoughts concerning the scriptures. He knows that he not need fear having true believers who are only interested in and want the truth finding that truth. But leaders who themselves are not like that will not allow others to hear alternate understandings and will usually go for the juggler vein of those who offer those other understandings.

whats the difference between debate and discussion?
I think the implication is that 'debate' is emotional and combative, while 'discussion' is calm and scholarly.
I will let my behavior here speak for itself regarding which one I've been engaged in.

Then you are in the wrong thread.
Ralph is as false as they come....When he stands in the many group and is denied entry he will find out the hard way how wrong he was.....he will beg, plead with tears and boast of all he has done in the name of Jesus to no avail.....

BY DOCTRINE he does not believe in and or promote the JESUS CHRIST of the bible.......one that dos not fully trust CHRIST to complete the work of faith in then denies JESUS and promotes self regardless of how they spin it....HIS false gospel is about as dangerous as it comes and is traceable all the way back to CAIN who was of that WICKED ONE.....!!

FAITH saves eternally.....to say one can lose it or forfeit = being of the wicked one because it devalues JESUS, his promises, power and work on our behalf....

Then you are in the wrong thread.
Maybe I am. That had occurred to me.
Because I think most people do avoid this thread like the plague.
And not because there's honest, calm discussion here, but because there is a lot of narcissistic abuse going on here towards people who dare to have a different view of scriptures than they.
It does seem to be controlled by a handful of people who are protecting their territory.

Here, this may be helpful for some people here:

Man its not a out wining the fight.
"If a man does not bridle his toungue this man's religion is vain." If you cant bridle your toungue, there is mo way you would have self control. Self control is a fruit of the Spirit from dweling in God, and you agred that we would have a fight.
Go look in the mirror hypocrite..I oppose your dogma tooth and nail and YOU are the one mouthing about BEATING ME UP pal.....and to use sarcasm, pointed derogatory names, heat, pointed comments IS BIBLICAL when one is opposing false blather that leads one to hell......JESUS, PAUL, John the Baptist, Elijah and others have set this example...and make no mistake...YOU peddle a false gospel and I will oppose you and the other clowns until the cows come home, the chickens roost and hell freezes over!

I cannot see who you are talking to because I have some on ignore, all I know is that there are some who do the same to us, as others did to the apostles. One thing I do know, is that the Bible tells us, "they are not one of us."
Thank God I am not of YOU..................the truth has set me free from all the false dogmas that lead to the pit!
