Eternally Grateful doesn't believe that continuing to believe is required. Because according to him you would then continue to thirst again (Post 117,993). So no, you don't all agree.
Eternally Grateful said a believer doesn’t stop believing.

I could care less about what anyone says....

JESUS BEGINS, Finishes AND COMPLETES the work of faith in us.

ANY and ALL gospels that state we can lose faith to the point of LOSING salvation absolutely, 100% DENIES the above verse and makes JESUS into a LYING INEPT clown that cannot keep his word.

ONCE he DEALS faith as a GIFT in MEASURE and it is received and taken hold of by acknowledging JESUS as the Savior and sacrifice for SINS it is a done DEAL....HE WILL, NOT MIGHT, but rather WILL finish and complete it in US.....

and the bible also answer these fools and clowns that say we can walk away, lose faith and lose salvation....

IF we BECOME FAITHLESS, HE abides FAITHFUL because HE CANNOT DENY HIMSELF..... <---THE APOSTLE includes HIMSELF in this EQUATION and FAITHLESS is FAITHLESS regardless how one spins it....

THESE jokers that say WE must maintain it or lose salvation absolutely DENY JESUS and the word of GOD by their stance
Jesus begins and finishes it. That is why salvation is of the Lord

The scripture says “everyone who is born of God overcomes the world”. Not some do and some don’t.
Lets look at that EXACT scripture according to the AMPLIFIED TRANSLATION

1 John 5 (AMP)
4 For [b]everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].

See. There is the answer.

DCONS whole premise of: If we are faithless He is faithful is based on the wrong premise. It was addressed but He refused to look. He is misunderstanding this.

Amen.... I get your exasperation with these people who create a fickle Jesus and argue against the finished work of faith.

These are his exact words:
if continues to believe is required. Then we will continue to thirst.
Well why would he contradict Jesus... if our belief does not secure salvation then of course we would continue to thirst.

Discern, do you acknowledge this scripture? You quoted this, and we see the amplified bible explaining what it means.

Salvation is not over a life time....therefore this "continued belief for salvation" is an argument we should be responding to.. it is a false premise.

So continuing faith is required.

There is a vast difference between these two statements

A. It is required that a person continue in faith to be saved.

And

b. Those who are saved will continue to believe.

Two very different things

Actually, its the other way around: Those who continue to believe are saved.
Which is first? Saved or continue to believe? I have saved first. If our salvation is based on our faithfulness, we’re all in trouble

Because they are born of God

You keep believing and I’ll keep believing, how about that?

This incessant arguing is not spiritually healthy for anyone.
