Many years ago, someone walked away from me....and there has always been that, *I wonder* bouncing around in my head. We were engaged to be married, and I guess he was just not ready? (his reasons for calling off the wedding and relationship were vague to say the least.) His family was all quite shocked as well, and he would never give them a strait answer either.

He is a wonderful person, and I have heard he has married and has a baby. I am beyond thrilled for him..and pray that all happiness is going out to him and his family.

I have always wondered though if it was something about me, or if things just moved to quickly, or if was just not ready?

Grace,

In my case, I was the one who wasn't ready. I don't think I am ready either now. I still DO need more time to be ready. The LORD knows why.

Yes i have experiance this but at the time ithought it was for the best(saying it was def from God). Have actually kind of been refelcting and realised i chickened out. But i dont regret it

If you continue down the path of seeking God for the timing of things, I do not think you will ever regret things. :) Good for you.

Honestly, there are many things that I don't understand about life, relationship, etc. I'm still learning. Learning to get up when I fall, learning to forgive when someone hurts me, learning to apologise when I am wrong, etc.

LORD, help me to be a helper comparable to him. Help me to be ready at the right time. I believe You will deliver me to him when You think I am ready.
