I just recently became aware of this song and watched and listened to Selena's music video...
When I watch Selena's portrayal of her emotions in this video while listening to her words - I can imagine how these are the same sorts of thoughts that somehow manifested in wife1.0's mind and perspective - that ultimately compelled and drove her to leave and drive to terminate our union...

For reasons I may never fully comprehend, she had to hate me, in order to leave me, so that she could find a way to learn to love herself...
