So for all you gals what are some traits (especially biblical ones) you look for in us guys? Just wondering.

Loves God,Understanding,Passionate,Wants A Family, and Loves me fo Me

Scriptural: Follows the teaching of Christ in LOVE; full understanding of what it means to "cherish as Christ loves the Church"; fidelity; belief that marriage is for life and is between man/woman/God, boldness in faith

Non-scriptural: humility, compassion, wisdom, humor, strength of character, willingness to learn/try new things

For me someone I can attend church with, someone to talk scriptures with.

Thanks for the reply. Now I know some of the qualities I need to work on.

Cassie, Jenjen, great thoughts.

Julianna also great thoughts, but I'm confused some if not all of your non-scriptural look like scriptural ones to me.

They do kinda look like fruits of the Spirit, don't they? ;)

not sure if this is scriptural but ive dated some guys that were not assertive...if a guy is supposed to b the head of the household, he has to put his foot down and make decisions. now that ive had experience with passive guys, assertiveness is one of the top qualities i look for.
i would also like a guy that i could pray with. its intimate in a way, to b able to share that with ur significant other, to share the presence of God together. and it also shows the more emotional side of a guy. kinda balances the two qualities out.

someone who exhibits the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5)

If I had to do it all over again, I'd look for laughter and optimism.

What really makes me notice a guy is if he takes notes during sermons (:

traits mmm ok well one ..

Positive really what i mean its hard to be with someone that is always negative theyll get tooo you and drag you down..iam not saying hyper all the time.. but common you get the picture..my ex would always said he was not good guy bad person that he had no clue how too changed it and blah blah.. he said this for the longest time ever almost whole relationship.. lol.. it ended up making me feel down... to

Another trait- a man that is sure of him self and what he is and what he wants..not saying have all life down already just be sure of your self.. like they say a positive attracts positive..

man that means what he says.. like goes too honesty and all that..

A strong believer who is willing too grow religiously with me together work on each other weaknesses..

A honest man that is up front about all his feelings..

A family person... I would love too be able too invite bf too family gatherings or just dinner with the family get him involved..

takes notes during a sermon huh...well thats a darn good one!! i like that lol

A Christian one, from a Christian family, passionate, loving, who wants to build a family, honest :)

excuse me forgiven66,
But you must first submit your life to God to expect any blessing from Him. A man of God who does His will, IF it is in the will of God, will receive from God a woman of God. You can try to mimic these traits, but unless you are truly committed to Christ you won't find fulfillment in any relationship whatsoever because you are the one trying to attract someone instead of praying and asking God to reveal to you who it is. If God truly is Lord of your life, don't forget He must always be your first love. Putting anything before Him is idolatry.
