Is sex and sex related issues now the unofficial religion of America? Seems that it’s everywhere and it certainly has its disciples. Some of the biggest political and social matters coming about are the following:
> Abortion
> Contraceptives
> Gender identity
> Same sex marriage
> Infidelity
> Sexual education via public institutions
> Entertainment and social media

There is many more but I thought these would be sufficient as we are all exposed to them. Many Americans have given themselves over to this old but new doctrine of flesh mixed with religious practice.

How can Christians preach to those that become hostile when confronted with this? As we all know, people invoke emotionalism when these topics are brought up. Again, I welcome all opinions with regards to this.

Sexual immorality in the New Testament is a big one.

Share the Word with them, tell them to Repent and Believe on Christ Jesus, God has appointed a man whom we will all be judged against and he has given assurance of this by raising him from the dead (Acts).

Share the Word with love, kindness, and compassion, not with judgement and shaming.

Up to the early 20th century in America, contraception was not only illegal, but the law was as vigorously defended then as extremist anti-abortionists example today. Contraception helps to reduce the transmission of STD's, and it also helps to reduce the number of women who may think to seek an abortion.
Although we all know that contraceptives are no guarantee to insure either as absolute. (reduced transmission of STD's & pregnancy)
Gender identity is not in my view a sexual issue. It is a mental health issue.
Case in point, in the DSM of the APA, Body Integrity Disorder, is similar to what is now labeled as Transgender, only in the American Psychiatric Associations Diagnostic and Statistics Manual it is called, Gender Dysphoria. The former mental condition is when a person looks at a body part of theirs and believes it is not actually their own. Or part of their anatomy.
The same can be said for what are Transgenders today. A man will consider his genitalia as wrong, not his own, and thinks he is actually a woman in the wrong body. The opposite is the case of women who believe they are meant to be male.

What is interesting in the case of the males with this disorder is, while they'll often seek to mutilate their body with breast implants and even what is called, jaw shaving, so as to make their facial structure more soft and feminine in appearance, allegedly Bruce Jenner had this procedure done, rarely do the afflicted males go all the way and have their male genitalia augmented into the female form.
The same in those lower regions with women who suffer the affliction.

Therefore, I do not see the Transdisorder as a sexual issue. It is purely a matter of mental illness.
As is homosexuality. And was so identified in the DSM's of earlier years until the APA were coerced to augment their "findings" on the matter due to terroristic threats and fear for their lives. A memo to this effect was once published on-line, released by a whistle blower who wanted the world to know the real cause behind the future publications of DSM, starting if I recall correctly, with DSM5.

Infidelity is as old as the scriptures. An outward sign of an inward decision. The adulterer no longer wants to be with their spouse. But the comforts marriage affords, or a faith system they actually don't respect or they wouldn't be sinning as an adulterer, lets them remain living the lie of fidelity. Jesus did not say it is absolutely forbidden to divorce. And even if He did, God forgives. Best to get out of a marriage that is killing you in every way but physically, and sometimes the really bad ones do go that route, and ask forgiveness than adhere to the vow, till death us do part, while dying daily on the inside because you're living in Hell with someone you despise.
Love yourself first! Get out! (my advice) When you hate him/her, you know you are no longer "in" love. And conversely , when you know they hate you, you know they aren't either.

Sex-Ed, I have no problem with. I've sat in on enough cases where stupid uneducated teens are on trial for murdering the baby the girl kept a secret from her extremist parents right up till she gave birth in a school John. And then strangled the baby, hid them in the trash and returned to her prom with the baby-daddy as they danced to their favorite song, then went home and acted as if nothing happened.
I'd rather have a girl give birth in a hospital, without her parents consent, and then sign the baby over to an adoption agency than tally the cost of a trial for Infanticide. Anyone, anyone, who thinks Sex-Ed in school will lead kids to have sex are so old they forget what it was like to be young, hormonal and frisky! Sex-Ed doesn't lead kids to have sex. It leads them to the understanding of what sex is, and what they can do to protect themselves and live through it in these times. Especially when super strain AIDS is in the world and kills victims in little less than two years, and there is no drug cocktail that extends one's life so as to avoid that inevitable end. You die! Fast and in horrific suffering.

Entertainment and Social Media= It is said that TV was first invented for the purpose of selling soap. Hence, early beginnings of what were called, soap operas.
Today we know TV programs our psyche. Visual and audio stimulation enter the subconscious that continually records every aspect of our life and without prejudice. Even when we're asleep the subconscious is recording everything in the room. Sounds, etc... This is why those who indulge themselves in deep drama will cry at the oddest times. Because a subconscious trigger earlier deposited in their emotional centers, physically, mentally and emotionally, responded again like unto what first enabled the recording.
This is why we're seeing an uptick in school shootings. First person graphically real video games desensitize a developing young mind to the horror of slaughter. Something they've never seen before in person, they're now committing by their own hand and right before their own eyes. And they're rewarded for it.
It stands to reason after hours and hours of this stimulus those mentally overrought, such as being constantly bullied, seek that outlet in real life. Because it is so satisfying in the game.

Social Media began as a mind control and passivity inducing experiment. The passivity range was the uptick after years of chemical alteration in our physiology due to the side effects of Fluoride. In all its delivery vehicles. Toothpaste, mouthwash, which draws the Fluoride chemicals into the bloodstream while in the mouth, and municipal water supply.
Social Media's evolution in popularity and influence is in direct accounting of Fluoride saturation in the affected populace. As well as other factors, such as the chemical agents in manufactured foods. To name just one other.

Basically, this world is following almost to the letter the end times prophecy of most every religion that teaches any measure of Eschatology to its faithful.
There are some who say Hell, as anyone would define it, is this world. And Salvation, is death.
Look at our "idols", our "gods", on any continent, in any culture. Their identity first and foremost most visible? Celebrity. And in America, like unto the Greek's pantheon, they too live on a Hill. Beverly Hills. The untouchables, that live better than their faithful (fans), and yet in many cases, are far more depraved in private.

It's life.
Don't worry, you'll get over it. ;)

Sexual immorality is but one of the signs of a society that is either corrupt, not godly and or falling....History teaches this truth.....TEMPLE prostitutes, sodomites filled the ancient temples, Greece, Rome, etc. all had deepening immorality as they grew base and fell....a sign of the times for sure. Even Islam through polygmy, beastiality etc. shows how sexual immorality is tied to a base, corrupt society and or religion.....Why is pedophilism seen rampant within the RCC....Why do priests that are not allowed to marry constantly being arrested, charged or having assaults, rapes etc. being swept under the table or making the news....EVEN within cults like Mormonism we see sexual immorality with polygamy......it seems obvious....!

Your Word for Today

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the House of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them who obey not the Gospel of God? And if the Righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? (I Pet. 4:17-18).

After the horror of 9/11/01, when the lives of some 4,000 Americans were snuffed out due to Muslim terrorism, two Preachers of my acquaintance were interviewed over Network Television. They were asked why the Lord allowed this to happen to America.

Their answer was most interesting! Both agreed, “It is because of the homosexuals and the abortionists in this nation!”

That is basely incorrect!

While the two sins mentioned definitely are abominable, as should be overly obvious, that is not the problem in this country. According to the Word of God, the problem is the “House of God.” The Church in America has failed, and failed miserably! The Gospel is little preached from behind fashionable pulpits. The Cross of Christ, the very heartbeat of Christianity, has been relegated to the dustbin of antiquated doctrines, no longer applicable, or so it is said, for this modern age.

What I have just said is, in effect, the same as what Jesus said: “Verily I say unto you, that the Publicans and the harlots go into the Kingdom of God before you” (Mat. 21:31). Jesus certainly wasn’t condoning the sins of thievery and harlotry. What He was saying was that while the publicans and the harlots would repent, or at least some of them would, the religious leaders of Israel would not repent (Mat. 21:32).

Judgment always begins with Believers, and pertains to their Faith, whether in the Cross or otherwise; the Cross alone is spared judgment, for there Jesus was judged in our place.

If God will judge His Own, how much more will He judge the unredeemed? The Cross alone stays the Judgment of God. That must ever be understood.

The modern Church in this country is little preaching the Gospel. If it was preaching the Gospel, i.e., “the Cross,” which, as stated, alone stays the Judgment of God, then this nation would escape much punishment, and could very well have escaped the horror of 9/11/01.

Because it is so important, let us say it again:

If the Church faithfully preaches the Cross, most Judgment can be spared, for there Jesus was judged in our place. If the Cross is little preached, the nation is opened up for Judgment, and that’s exactly what is happening! The Cross of Christ alone stands between man and eternal Hell. We must never forget that (Eph. 2:13-18; Gal. 6:14). “

We must remember, it was not the thieves, the drunks, the harlots, etc., as wicked as were their sins, who crucified Christ, but rather the church of that day.

We are seed planters, so when we plant the seed of the gospel into someones life, the Holy Spirit convicts them - not us. If they become hostile, then we back off and pray for another opportunity.

I’m not American but I also live in a western world, I think we need to be bold and courageous and be willing to be used as a vessel by God.

I know I’m not bringing up anything new, but I have to say a lot of our cultural aspects are attached to bullet points I listed. Even young children are not immune from them.

I heard many times from a post modernism perspective of “How we humans are evolving our minds, body’s, and souls(If one believes in a soul) to this new Age of Enlightenment” My observation is humans haven’t changed at all. Sure we are technically advanced, but our innate nature is the same as it was in the days of Noah.

Actually the religion of unsaved Americans on the extreme Left is godless Communism (presented as Socialism to make it less offensive). On the extreme Right it could be godless Nazism (but these are a very small minority). However in general it would be either Hedonism or Materialism.

You can thank the irresponsible mainstream media for making Transgenderism a big deal. And you can thank the feckless and spineless politicians for allowing it to become a big deal. It is demonic to the core.

There is a reason the phrase sex sells is a well known phrase. In so many commercals they use sex to intice buyers in every place you look all over the world what do you see on almost every kind of digital device? Porn boobs and unmentionals I mean the corruption is very deep even on my favorite cartoon spongebob they show hidden sexual references and also imply spongebob getting drunk several times. Did you also know the statistics show that over 70% of porn originates from America? Perverseness is at an all time high far more than ever in history

This is not true. There was the Synagogue and there was the pagan Roman's who occupied Hebrew lands.

Furthermore, it is irrelevant as to whom is responsible for Jesus being crucified. No one took Jesus' life from Him. Jesus could have saved Himself every easily as He was God and could have commanded the angels of Heaven to His rescue. But He did not.

Jesus gave His life for all people and took the sins of the world upon Himself on the cross. As He came to do. The Book of Mark chapter 10 and the Book of John chapter 18.

We have to be very careful here because many Christians think if they're not snared by the big five (gambling, drugs, alcohol, nicotine, immorality), they are home free. We must never forget that there are other sins, as well, such as greed, covetousness, uncontrollable temper, malice, pride, etc. Satan doesn't care with which he ensnares us, just so we are snared.

This may come as a shock but if the Christian has to be snared by something, it would probably be better were it one of the big five, so to speak, because it's much easier to bring such to Repentance than it is sins of pride. Jesus said as much (Matthew 21:31).

Nicotine? Certainly a bad habit and not good for your health, but a sin?

According to our Teacher, nothng, nothing by entering into the boy corrupsts. However what is kept in the heart, if it is evil will produce evil. Smoking is not a sin, but the habit has its own punishment.

Romans 1:25 King James Version (KJV)

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

This is the same Ancient story of worship and service to the Creature more than the Creator that is repeated from generation to generation manifested in those that forget Elohim/God.

Phallic architecture

The ancient Greeks and Romans celebrated phallic festivals and built a shrine with an erect phallus to honor Hermes, messenger of the gods. Those figures may be related to the ancient Egyptian deity Min who was depicted holding his erect phallus. Figures of women with a phallus for a head have been found across Greece and Yugoslavia. Phallic symbolism was prevalent in the architectural tradition of ancient Babylon. The Romans, who were deeply superstitious, also often used phallic imagery in their architecture and domestic items. The ancient cultures of many parts of the Far East, including Indonesia, India, Korea and Japan, used the phallus as a symbol of fertility in motifs on their temples and in other areas of everyday life.

Immorality is rampant in the church because believers think they can fall and not suffer consequences. I'm not talking losing salvation but paying a severe price for abusing the great liberty we have in Christ.

We see the great price of suffering in broken families and wounded spirits in those who have had first hand experience in the transgression of infidelity. Great shame that is never completely erased from their life.

The adulterer no longer wants to be with their spouse. But the comforts marriage affords, or a faith system they actually don't respect or they wouldn't be sinning as an adulterer, lets them remain living the lie of fidelity.
no word of a lie ive seen some harlot actually say that "just because im gonna sleep with someone who isnt my husband doesnt mean i no longer want to be with my husband.. a woman has needs too."

my generation is so evil to the core that nothing is respected anymore. these people and i use people word sparingly are defending adultery at every turn and making excuses my wife didnt make me dinner so now i can cheat on her. my husband left toilet seat up now i can cheat on him. its crazy this human trash. i wonder if they like to be cheated on themself or if they only like to dish it out and not take it?

i personally try not to worry about things like that but it really makes me angry because someone very close to me had their husband cheat on them while they were in labour giving birth can you believe that "man"?

i believe best thing to do for people in my generation is to let people know that if you cheat its so severe consequences that its better to just say i want to leave and not cheat behind someones back. this works really good for people i know who are from turkey. muslims "laestadianism lutherans" and gypsies are also really good with this, very rarely do they cheat because if you do, the entire family will destroy you completely its over for you. sad that muslims have better success rate in marriage than professing christianity. we need to step up our loyalty. but i also realize that most people are only christians by birth to some church etc so its probably not real christians only regular europeans who are atheist.

i want to add to what i said before also that i think best way to combat this is to be close to the Lord and find a wife or husband thats also close to the Lord so odds of success go up massively. i know personally that two people commited to Lord they always have lasting marriages from what i have seen. Jesus is faithful and thats why His servants are faithful also

i also believe Jesus knew what He was talking about that some people just arent built for marriage. like im getting into a marriage right now, if it doesnt work out and we end up divorcing for reasons other than adultery i would not marry again because i would believe ok this isnt something im meant for. im a very loner kind of person lone wolf but i do like company of certain elect people.

best to trust until given evidence to contrary.
