Confuse with the true assembly. Never said anything like that.

Use grace being a license to sin as the problem. Never said that. Only that it is a problem with what you call churchianity,( I call it unsaved professers) and a problem for nosas people who wrongly assume that error

There was no accusation made about people using grace as a license to sin, other than a response to a post from you that said it was impossible. To which I pointed out that false professers attempt to use the CONCEPT of grace as a license to sin, whic is the error of an unregenerate heart, not a christian

Which was basically the point of my story question.
Okay ...
Next time just post this right from the start and never mind the questions in an attempt to teach us something....things might go better for you.

Well I can go back and find it however... questions that are leading like yours were still presupposes you have knowledge that others do not have.

Not going round and round on this.
Leading questions presuppose no such thing. People use leading questions all the time.

Very real scenarios. I know several cases of the same thing The scenario I presented was realistic. Don’t bury your head in the sand.

The scenario is less of an issue than how you delivered it and responded to the answers but desperately placing them in a yes or no box while not accepting any addition to your scenerio to help their answer be closer to a yes or no.

I just want to see how you all answer.

If the story was about me, is there a POSSIBILITY I was never saved? Can you give me a straight answer? If you can’t, why not?

Just about ANYONE can answer this question without a second thought.

And you can put any deliberate habitual sin in there that you want. They’re all the same, right?
Almost ANY OSAS proponent would say YES. I can’t think of one reputable osas teacher that would say no. Can you?
Before you openly revealed your hidden motive.

vv

Are people being so defensive and guarded that not even a point that CH Spurgeon and other OSAS teachers would agree with is creating such a controversy?

When you admitted your secret agenda.
vvv
The experiment is concluded.
My agenda was to stir thought.
I didn’t leave my wife. That was an example.

I wanted to see if people would get defensive about it, because I thought I DISCERNED something in your posts. And I was right

So in other words, don’t ask questions. Questions are dangerous. Think about what you all are saying

If you really believed this you would not knock grace by claiming it must be earned (can be lost)
That is not what I mean. Gods grace is so precious, we need to guard it with our life, and not go seeking this world's pleasures, for fear of grieving the Holy Spirit.

He said: you DO NOT have the right to tear up this thread arguing over something, so we can always Agree to Disagree, and get over it.

You were on a one way path to get Banned.

Titus 3:8-9 (NIV)
8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels
about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

BAD FRUIT:

Galatians 5:19-21 (NIV)
19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

NOT BEING CHRIST-LIKE

1 Timothy 6:4-5 (NIV)
4 he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions
5 and constant friction . . .

I hope and pray for you two to get back to being Christ-like.
I have already moved on. I’m discussing a different topic now. Thanks though

Boy you like to argue.
Ain't that the truth.

At least everyone can agree

we are saved appart from our works by the grace of God and our walk can be nothing more than evidence before man

God is the judge and the only difference between the saved and unsaved in regards to justification would be who is and who is not covered by the blood of Jesus .... which is by Gods grace through faith...

About a silly thing like leading questions presuppose I know something that others don’t know. That is an argumentative statement that I disagreed with.

If you guys are so afraid of questions, that’s kind of a sheltered existence, imo

Yes that is exactly right.....questions are not allowed under any circumstance.

They upset the cosmic balance of the Not by Works thread!

She made a wrong accusation and I responded. That is not being argumentative.

Brother.... would you suggest we never speak again even if we disagree? Just yesterday or the day before you disagreed with me because you misunderstood my post then posted something with all the same points I made....😅

The long winded many posts have stopped.

The debate about false accusations has stopped.

If you would rather I step away completely then fine.

I never had anything here aside from discord and dissensions and for that I am sorry to have bothered anyone here. I did it in hopes for the truth to be known.

People who are afraid of leading questions are usually trying too hard to defend something when the best defense of a proposition is to lay it all out and not be afraid of any questions. Because a question is always an opportunity for the responder to shed light in a civil and moderate tone

It is always easy to tell others to stop and be Christ like when one is not involved.
I have done this myself.
But for myself, please do not step away.

They are dangerous when asked with hidden motives as some sort of experiment too.

People will sense you are less than genuine.

Especially if you try to lead their answers into a yes no box you claim isn't there.

Sigh.
A leading question is one where the questioner already has the answer in mind and is bringing the respondent to that answer.

You have many people here who know as much and oftrn more than you on doctrine so ......
to place yourself in the position of teacher with leading questions to some of those people in my eyes was not wise.

Can we just drop this now. Signing off.

I am not allowed to test the spirits?

and The only reason I changed it to a yes or no was because people were dancing around the question.

If you can’t say the person in the story question may have been saved or may not ever been saved, I don’t know what to tell you. That is a biblical reality.

The fact that people took issue with reveals that they are afraid of certain questions. If you don’t ask questions, youre in a rut
