My, my, no one, ladies, is saying the one thing cliche'd by so many of you so often in life . I am so surprised its not yet been mentioned, so surprised. Are you hearing me? Hint, hint, lol. On a lighter note, I think girls look for a guy who is not afraid of speaking his love for God in groups. Am I wrongo or right on that, ladies :)

Well, anyway . Are we PAYING ATTENTION to what your saying is my answer to his. Are we listening to you ?

Really, Juliet, does that mean you and fisher could be to lovers kissing in a tree, k-I-s-s-I-n-g.

There! That there, myladies, is listening.

And for other traits I would add, just from a sanctity of wellness perspective, t'would be:

Lead me with strong hands.
Stand up when I can't

Lead my children with strong hands
Stand up when they can't

This ALL should be done with the Lord leading Him. It will be done if you ask Him to lead him. God can do wonders, ladies, IF you ask Him to andthen you must simpler listen to His answers through events next happening in your life awake, and, even, if you listen like Mary's Joseph did.....in your dreams, too, will answers come. :)

Of course, those two traits come from song I'll paraphrase some but the points remain the same in this ballad by Sanctus Real.... I look around at my beautiful life, almost perfect from the outside. I look at my beautiful wife....but I can hear her saying from the inside, Lead....strong hands. Stand.....can't.

Guys need to be leaders and if they have a life devoted to Christ they will be great leaders for Him , and, consequently, maladies, you :)

I was being facetious some there, Juliet, about what fisher has trait-wise that has hooked you, but my point remains the same and just doing a simple example of listening trait and your post was easy to make an example of , have a little fun with too. The Lord leads, no irrelevancy intended.
Yes, Julianne, SAnctus Real is with a moral-strong song there, just be sure that he (guy you like) leads with Him(God) was my biggest point there. Do NOT be sucked in by a guy's great traits IF the guy does not have his foundation of values biblical found and bound by the teachings and actions of one following Christ . :)

The book of Titus is full of good character traits a man should have:

Titus 1:7 blameless, not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.
Titus 1:8 hospitable, loves what is good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined.

and, of course:

Titus 1:9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

hmmm.. He MUST be God-fearing and love God above all else... Sweet, innocent, funny, loves sports (especially football), music, handsome obviously lol.....

ya know, that reminds me. some people thinks its shallow if someone says that the guy/girl has to b handsome, that u should only look at whats on the inside. but i disagree. there has to b some physical attraction, in fact most of the time, that is what makes us interested in that person in the first place because we havnt gotten the chance to talk with the person. so i dont find it shallow at all. also what one person finds attractive, another does not. so really, everyone on earth is attractive in some way to some person. although, physical attraction should not b the focus of course, i dont find it shallow when people say its a one of their requirements.

I totally agree. Somone has to be attractive to you in order to want to date them.

But being attractive is different for everyone. Guys that friends of mine are attracted to I am just not, even ones that most people would say are really hot, like young, thin and trendy types. I just don't go for that.
