"There remaineth no more sacrifice for sins" is not a reference to Jesus....
Sure it is.

For if we (the Sanctified) are sinning wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins ( the blood of the covenant wherewith he, the willful sinner was sanctified) , But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God (the Sacrifice for sins), and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
(Heb 10:26-29)

Reading with understanding makes for a
more coherent and correct doctrine.
Amen to that sister.

No, we have talked many times before ... this is nonamemcgee, not sure if you remember me but I know how conversations go with you.🤦‍♂️

You are objectively wrong about what so much of scripture is saying....

I have tried many times to help you see what God wants you to....
I remember you and No you haven't. Answer the post please and prove the points one way or the other.

To say I am wrong without proving it is ridiculous to say the least. But to say I am wrong and talk smack about me is a another matter all together and not necessary. May the Lord have mercy on us all.

@EleventhHour , I found this video you may enjoy. It is Corrie Ten Boom. I find the story of how she kept the bible with her during the concentration camps really interesting.

That is not her FULL testimony. After the WWII, she start to tell her Testimony, at Christian Rallies in Europe. Then at one of the Rallies, she recognized a face in the audience. It was one of the Nazi Guards that had been so MEAN to her sister. It was the hardest thing, but she knew that she had to get down off the stage, go to ex-Nazi Guard, and FORGIVE HIM, and Hugged his neck.

Did Jesus Christ die for all sins, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit notwithstanding?

1 John 2:2 (CSBBible)
2 He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.

The FREE GIFT OF FORGIVENESS is available to EVERYONE. It is remarkable, most are not willing to RECEIVE that FREE GIFT of SALVATION and FORGIVENESS.

Jesus is Lord and Savior. It is God that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. We are His workmanship created unto good works through Christ, which HE has before ordained that we should walk in them through His Spirit. For it is certain in Him we live, move and have are being.

Amen!
Great verse and Nice thoughts! However I see you have nothing in relation to what was posted in regards to Hebrew 10:26 either.
Poor kid, you base your entire theology on one misunderstood verse. I’ll do the same thing and take comfort in John 3:16.

Scripture saith not,
Heb 10:26 For if we are willfully sinning after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
heb 10

1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

____

9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

(vs 10 "we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all)

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

_________

23-23Not a warning but encouragement to His children who are sanctified and perfected forever through CHRIST

_________

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

_________

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
_____________

If you truly believe this is saying willful sin will make you lose the once and for all forever sacrifice of sin, you must also believe if you sin once on purpose you lost salvation forever.... He sat down, also read hebrews 6

_______

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
________

We are His children... not adversaries.... like vs 13 who He will make His footstool AFTER SITTING DOWN and perfecting us forever through Jesus

_______

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

____________

Romans 5:10-11
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

.

This reminds me of stories of people forced to renounce their faith at the point of the gun/sword and stomp on the cross to save their skins. Undoubtedly many felt terrible and damned - but they still never lost their salvation.
.
Exactly.......100% agree.......anything that is not of faith IS SIN and yet....for the believer....Where sin abounds, GRACE abounds the more.

Many cannot grasp that a genuine believer is placed into a standing of GRACE....AS OPPOSED to lost men that are CONDEMNED ALREADY....!!

We all have shortfalls brother.
I have so many but I press on, even when I doubt that God does not love me and is about to kick me out.

I have had to learn and boy it's been hard and painful but at some point we need let the person go. Always leave the door open as I do.

I suppose my mind thoughts have been romanticism.
But the reality is that it's not.

And that is hard.

I'm going to say that if I lived where you live and I knew you and if I was struggling you would be my first point of call.

You are kind, loving and accepting and only want the best for those that God has given you.
Thanks brother, your words are very humbling, and my door is always open. There’s nothing like fellowship with believers who know their need for the Lord. I know I need Him more and more every day.

Sometimes when I hit a bump I read the Gospel according to John. Every chapter in that Gospel screams God’s love for us and His saving grace in Jesus Christ.

Since January 1st, I read all four Gospels, finishing John today, and feel refreshed!

keep In mind, lightbearer thinks the Law of Moses is divided into parts, with some still in effect and some not, and also that one has to keep the Sabbath to maintain salvation...
Ole Lightbar thinks he keeps tha law or the Sabbath helps him stay saved....I forgot that Lightsaber peddled that rigmarole

blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is unforgivable in this age and in the age to come. so i dont think Jesus died for that. otherwise it wouldnt be "unforgivable" sin
A cursory read and honest evaluation equates blasphemy of the Holy Spirit to Unbelelief Into the work of Christ as being from God....hence a state of unbelief. A man that will not believe that Jesus is who he says he is cannot be forgiven!

We all have them.....I rarely expose my prayers, but last night I told the Lord that I am unworthy of everything he has given me, I am worse than the man that beat upon his chest while not lifting his eyes to heaven, I am more unworthy than the Roman Soldier and like the thief on the cross. I am the worst sinner in his kingdom and unworthy of the least of his mercies.........

No I had it right the term "willful sin" is a reference back to the Levitical system.

If the writer was referring to our salvation then the first phrase of that passage has disqualified everyone who has ever lived from ever going to Heaven because no Christian has ever lived a sin free life.

If you look at the whole thing in context it is the same theme throughout all of the letter.

Hebrews 10:26 -29 says that there’s no longer any acceptable sacrifice for sin in the Levitical system, and that looking for one is a sin that has the effect of “trampling the Son of God underfoot, counting the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulting the Spirit of grace,” and that going back to the Law of Moses after Jesus had come to fulfill it was a worse insult to God than disobeying it before He came.

Amen Sister and a literal translation of Ephesians....In the GRACE WE ARE, having been saved out of faith, and that NOT OF OURSELVES, it is the gift of God and not of works let any man should boast!

we have nothing to boast of....except JESUS
