Once again, thank you, Tumnus. I do enjoy writing. I give all glory to God for the ability to express my imaginings, thoughts, and prayers in written form. I praise God for this post, which you started, that has served to remind me in recent days to offer praise in ALL things. I have needed that reminder. I praise God for placing reminders such as these in the appropriate places and times of my need. God, thank you for CC, this post, and for Tumnus. Amen.

I praise the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, the Alpha and Omega-for his majesty! What a blessed day that will be when we all get to see him face to face. How beautiful His face will be...surrounded by His glory...awesome

I will praise Him when my heart is heavy for the hope of tomorrow, and when the night is dark, for the light of a new day. I will stand amazed at the sunrise, even in the rain, at the significance of new beginnings and marvel at midnight how brief the hours. All glory to God who gives me a healthy constitution to achieve His purposes... Lord, help the spirit to follow.
Reading the posts on this thread has been a feast! I find that I am fully sated and must push back hard from the table to make room for my glutted soul. Happy, full, contented -- thank you for filling me up, too.

Thank you, Lord, for true help in time of need. Thank you that You see our thoughts and know our needs and carefully craft the care You will give to us. Nothing You do is haphazard or casual. Thank You for my awareness of Your provision, may it abound more and more.

I praise God today for supportive friends. The kind of friends you can call at 3am when the chips are down.

I praise you Lord, for fabfam12's post above. "Nothing You do is haphazard or casual". Excellent!

I echo the praise of fabfam12 and Tumnus- nothing IS haphazard or casual about the watchfulness of our Lord. All praise to the Faithful One who fills my lack of faith and amazes me with victory when I think all is lost. Oh God in heaven and of my heart, I praise you for your deliverance and for not forsaking me in my times of need. I stand in awe.

I praise the Lord today for bringing people in my life who TRULY love the Lord. I was fortunate enough to be able to speak to a long distance friend to catch up. This child of God has had medical crises and familial crises for most of her life, but she never complains, never says Why Me, she just emphatically proclaims to anyone who will listen: "Let me tell you how good God is". Every trauma that has happened in her life she sees as a life lesson or a blessing. She asks me all the time, "Tumnus", how do people get along without the Lord? I answer I have no idea.

I praise the Lord for giving her an attitude of gratitude! It's infectious! She has realized that in order share in Christ's glory in the future, that we must share in His sufferings here on earth. She helps keep my "attitude" in check. Blessings to you all.

A sacrifice of praise!
Setting one's requests before God with praise and thanks giving!
So many more scriptures about praise!
It is in praise that we know, and are willing to trust everything to the care of God Our Father!
Praising, simply because one sees, that in doing so, that one is willing to trust everything to the wisdom, understanding, power, knowladge, love and will of God Our Father!
Who greater can one trust in?
There is no greater God, than God Our Father creator, who out of this great love, gave His son Jesus, for our sake, sent His Holy Spirit, filled with His gifts for us!
If one can offer anything to God Our Father, I praise God that we can praise Him!

A good post Tumnus!
Thankyou.

God bless.

In every station, new trials and new troubles
Call for more grace than I can afford
Where can I go but to my dear Savior
For mercy that pours from boundless stores.

Grace upon grace, every sin repaired
Every void restored, you will find Him there
In every turning He will prepare you
With grace upon grace.

He made a way for the fallen to rise
Perfect in glory and sacrifice
In sweet communion my need He supplies
He saves and keeps and guards my life

To Thee I run now with great expectation
To honor You with trust like a child
My hopes and desires seek a new destination
and all that You ask Your grace will provide.

How beautifully moving and inspiring, fab fam12. Thanks for sharing that. My praise today is for the the beauty of the sunshine, the strength of the wind ushering in Spring, and the smell of fresh cut grass- that I didn't have to cut- thanks to my wonderful husband. Also for a the blessings of my children's friends and the warmth and laughter they bring into my home and to my family. My cup runs over; all glory, praise, and honor to the One who grants so many blessings.

Thank you for that post, fabfam12! I definitely needed to read that today. I have had a particular burden on my heart and that reminded me that the only one who could supply me with the grace I need is Christ

I am offering the sacrifice of praise today because I really need to do it today. I offer celebration of these verses in Psalms 16:7 "I will praisethe Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me." and Psalm 119:114"You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word."

May all praise Him in heaven and on earth!

Praising the Lord today because He knows my needs before I need them. I praise Him for answered prayer and unanswered prayer because He knows what is best for me.

I praise Him for the upcoming Resurrection Sunday which set us all free! I praise His sacrifice on the cross because He wants us to spend eternity with Him.

Would God call me a fair-weather friend? I hope not.
Why then do I find it a struggle to praise Him in spite of negative circumstances? The lyrics of this song have been good medicine for me. Blessed be Your name, all the time. Period. Good, bad, ugly -- no matter what the day brings, I will praise the Lord. Many times, it has been painful to offer that praise. Perhaps that's when praise truly is a sacrifice. It costs something.

Blessed Be Your Name, In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
, Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name,
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
, Blessed Be Your name

Every blessing You pour out, I'll turn back to praise

When the darkness closes in, Lord, Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord, Blessed be Your name

Blessed be the name of the Lord, Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name,
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
, Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name,
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
, Blessed be Your name

Every blessing You pour out, I'll turn back to praise

When the darkness closes in, Lord, Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord, Blessed be Your name

Blessed be the name of the Lord, Blessed be Your glorious name

Praising the very name of Jesus Christ! Psalm 148: 13 "Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens."

Today I spent hours in my childhood home surrounded by my father and sisters sorting through the belongings my dear, sweet mom left behind. Highest Lord of all in heaven, I praise you for the Godly mother I was so blessed to know and the beautiful memories I have of her. Words cannot express my gratitude and depth of comfort in knowing that she is with You. Please give her a hug for me. Thank you, Lord, from the depths of my soul, for the bond of family that draws us together and strengthens us. Praise to your name for each step toward healing. Amen and Amen.
