Kirk Douglas dies, gets a thread.
Kobe Bryant dies, gets a thread.
Reinhardt Bonnke dies, haven't seen a thread as yet.

And yet you don't post condolences out of respect in any of them. Hmmm
What purpose does it serve if I did?

And it's not out of disrespect for those who have passed, more of an observation of the collective.
Politics and celebrities.

One of my favorite all time movies is 'The List of Adrian Messenger' w/Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis, Robt Mitchum, Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra, Geo C Scott and Dana Wynter. It is b&w but an excellent story plot mixed with these greats and free online:) . Yes Mr Douglas may you RIP!

Indeed.

The music score in the oldies was easy to recognize as far as the timeline of the films. Same with classic TV shows. Can you imagine the faces of audiences when "talkies" were first at their theater? :giggle:

Spartacus still breaks my heart when I watch the classic replay on TV. Especially the end.
