1. The gospel is "the good news" because it informs us how that we were delivered eternally by the sacrifice of Jesus upon the cross. The gospel also informs us how that we can live a more abundant, and peaceful life here on earth, if we will follow his commandments.
2. Romans 5:1-2, Therefore being justified by faith (faith of Jesus), we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. By whom also we have access by (our) faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3. Acts 11:26, And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people, And the disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
4. Paul was chosen, mainly to be the Apostle for ushering in the Gentiles, and also, to preach the gospel to the whole church, which includes a people from every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. Rev 5:9.
