I think a lot of it has to do when you hear the older people and how they attack other denominations and how they are of satan and all. You trust these people because they are your elders and leaders. And thus you assume they must be right,

that’s what happened to me.. I was blindly following them

In the NT Jesus is Israel. He was from Judah. This means he is Israel unified with Judah.

Good old KJV translational English poor choice. The congregation would have been a better choice.

It will lead to an argument if I answer, based on your eschatology. I'm just saying numbers in Revelation are symbols not to be taken literally.

Did God reveal to you, that numbers are symbols in revealation? Ore is it man wisedom?
