But now that we have a new Priesthood the law has been changed to accommodate worship according to the Priesthood of Jesus.
And please, lightbearer, do not think I'm talking about the change in law the Catholics instituted by their own presumed authority.

If you want, we can talk about what the Bible itself says has changed.

so, here you are, pushing law keeping (which would include Sabbath keeping) for salvation.

do I get an apology for all the times I have told you that you push this, and you deny it??
I'm yet to hear those who push law keeping for salvation admit they push law keeping for salvation. LoveGodForever (previous member of Christian Chat who was a throughly indoctrinated SDA) once made this statement to me below:

The counterfeit Gospel is out there. What is the other Gospel? It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's Law (10 commandments) from the Cross. It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's 10 commandments from the plan of salvation. God’s Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it. God's forever Law (the 10 commandments) is the foundation of both the Old and the New Covenant and the very foundation and basis of the true Gospel of Christ.

When I confronted him about perverting the gospel by teaching salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works," he remained in denial. :cautious:

Even though I totally disagree with most of the twisted anti-gospel blather he posts (judges).....we cannot alleviate this truth that was inspired by God and or the other inspired phrases that say the same thing or imply similar truths......

MANY that witnessed the miracles of Jesus and the apostles gave glory to God and even said things like WE have never seen such things.......even lost men on occasion THANK GOD even though they do not know JESUS by faith.

It really troubles me that you stand against these truths.......and or question these truths just because YOU have not seen it....NOT everything is seen or heard, some may think it or say it under their breath or tell someone about it days, months, or even years after the fact.......

Judge NOT before the day.....we just do not have the full story or picture at times and all will come out in the proverbial wash in the end......
I agree...
When we plants seeds before unbelievers , God may grow that seed into their heart many years after He has taken us home...

I am always looking for that open door with my unsaved children to plant a seed , sometimes I have thought " They just don`t get it " , but then I remember , it is God who does the growing , so I pray and ask God to protect the seed sown in their hearts before the evil one snatches it , I know never to give up praying for my children...

Amen!
As false as false can be.
How many on here trying to correct him.

One would think a person would wonder why he has a different Gospel than everyone else.
Every time a heart is trusting in oneself to keep salvation , it grows a pebble to the point our hearts become hard as stone , that is scary...

Unless we become humble before God with emptiness , nothing to say " Look what I am doing God " then He will humble us , pride comes before a fall...

I have thought of that....why give him an audience?
Sometimes I think we respond just to show the falseness of his beliefs.

But point taken.
It can be very frustrating to keep reading over and over the post of those who claim that we can lose our Salvation , and very tempting to put them on ignore...
But also we never know when the seed may be planted in the hearts of those who are in error...

The ones who claim we can lose our Salvation are normally the ones who put us on ignore , that speaks louder to me...

Thankfully, I was instructed correctly with sound teaching by the man who led me to the Lord.

Agree whole heartedly.... Grace is the source that empowers us.

If we look to ourselves we will falter.

It is like the air we breathe.. moment by moment keeping our eyes on Him.

Yes perhaps, one day when they come to the end of themselves they might see the light.

Few know him personally.
And it's almost impossible to pin him down.
One day he's skiing in the Alps.
Next day he's big game hunting in the Serengeti.
Few want to know him personally, and pinning down hot air is quite the task.

One day wiping out on the slopes and the next missing a sleeping deer from point blank range...

There is a lot to be thought about when Jesus said be like these little children...

My little grandchildren believe me in all I say because when I look after them for a weekend , they are vulnerable and trusting in me to feed them , they hold onto me for their survival , they are trusting me to supply all their needs , and that is how we are to be before our LORD always , like these little ones , depending on Jesus for everything...

It's not literally water baptism.
It's the repentance that water baptism represents (you get water baptized for repentance).
Water is being used as a metonymy* for repentance.

The fleshly effort of repentance via the old covenant births a fleshly man, not a spiritual man.
Faith in Christ via the New Covenant births the spiritual man.

"...the son born according to the flesh (the son birthed of the old covenant) persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit (the son birthed of the New Covenant)". - Galatians 4:29

*A figure of speech in which one word or phrase is substituted for another with which it is closely associated, as in the use of Washington for the United States government or of the sword for military power.

I am replying to this message, but I still feel like you're stretching so much.

It is like you are calling the blue sky, green and then asking me to look at the grass to see your point.

Born of water is being born. Not one think you have presented has even dented that fact once.

When he climbed Mt. Everest he took his skis with him.

In the Serengeti if you miss your prey at point blank range you don't live to tell about it. ;)

So true... how much a baby has to rely an adult to care for them.

Hard as adults to make ourselves so vulnerable to God.

This is why people miss the Gospel....they think they can go it alone....so often when I tell people the Gospel... they will often state that they are a good person ....see relying on self!!

I tried to learn to snowboard for two winters and I tried to ski three times.

Love the winter, not the most skilled at slippery winter activities.

I was just playing on how two people can see the same thing differently in my reply to judges. (who I personally believe is someone who's name sounds like granC)

I love this Proverb , and it is my go to for times when I have trials...
A great reminder for when the evil one strikes us , or when we do not know what to do...

Proverbs 3:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

it is a reminder that we can do NOTHING in our own strength , and it is a healing balm to know that the LORD our God carries us always...

Really GranC... I personally do not think so, that person had a very different style of writing.... but some people can be clever abut how they disguise themselves... Discern did very well with that.

Snowboarding it looks so fun... but scares me

Skiing .... all about shifting your weight.... once you get the hang of that .... it is a lot of fun.
Don't give up.

All my trips I was using borrowed gear. I have very little money and work 80+ hours a week. I haven't went out for "fun" since 2009ish.

Though I have slowly bought the gear I need to camp so once I get enough time I can do it with little prep.
