All my trips I was using borrowed gear. I have very little money and work 80+ hours a week. I haven't went out for "fun" since 2009ish.

Though I have slowly bought the gear I need to camp so once I get enough time I can do it with little prep.
That is a lot of work hours.... I am tired just reading it.

Lessons do go a long way to learning, even one or two... so save some money for that.
Some day you will get back to it I am sure.

I'm yet to hear those who push law keeping for salvation admit they push law keeping for salvation. LoveGodForever (previous member of Christian Chat who was a throughly indoctrinated SDA) once made this statement to me below:

The counterfeit Gospel is out there. What is the other Gospel? It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's Law (10 commandments) from the Cross. It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's 10 commandments from the plan of salvation. God’s Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it. God's forever Law (the 10 commandments) is the foundation of both the Old and the New Covenant and the very foundation and basis of the true Gospel of Christ.

When I confronted him about perverting the gospel by teaching salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works," he remained in denial. :cautious:
Yes some should just be upfront with their monikers...

"MostlyMeLittleBitofJesus"

"GospelDenier101"

"JesusAndMeforSalvation"

"JesusStartsIFinish"

"LawSavesForever"

and of course

"KeepBelieving"

and I could go on and on....

I saw someone on my FB who said
" If we can be bad enough to lose our Salvation , then we can be good enough to earn it "

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

A simple truth for sure.

Notice how the the salvation loses always deny they are earning or working for salvation.

Yes I do...
We either are saved by grace , or earning our salvation , there is no inbetween...

Those who have accepted Jesus as their LORD and Savior are those who have eternal life , and stand on the Rock , but those who add anything to their " salvation " is standing on the sinking sand...

May God open their eyes to see , for we are not promised tomorrow...

I don't know about his beliefs specifically, but the problem is you're just not getting the argument.

Just like you, they believe the purposely sinning person will not be saved. The only differences being 1) the commands they think constitute 'not sinning' vary from what you think they are. And 2) they believe the purposely sinning person is not saved because the waqes for willful sin is eternal death, while you believe the willfully sinning person is not saved because he was never saved to begin with. This has nothing to do with good works earning salvation. Of course, you can bring up the rouge exception but that does not change or negate the general beliefs of these people on the whole.

I am replying to this message, but I still feel like you're stretching so much.

It is like you are calling the blue sky, green and then asking me to look at the grass to see your point.

Born of water is being born. Not one think you have presented has even dented that fact once.
The Bible interprets itself:

"That which is born of the flesh is flesh" - John 3:6

"the son by the bondwoman was born according to the flesh" - Galatians 4:23

"he who was born according to the flesh" - Galatians 4:29

It's okay if you don't get it at first.
Some things just take time.
Are you are a regular Bible reader?
You really won't see these kinds of revelations in scripture unless you read the Bible for yourself on a regular basis away from the narrow bias of popular teachings in the church today.
