I just read a site that says Jesus preached through the Holy Spirit and not His own Spirit and the Holy Spirit raised Jesus who was sleeping and had died. like the Holy Spirit was acting on behalf of Jesus. that completely is false if that was the case then the Holy Spirit conquered death not Jesus.
I would offer. The work of salvation is not accredited to human hands in any way shape or form.

Even in the Garden the beginning of the three day labor of the love of God. The father put the disciples asleep so that they could not be accredited as working with the Son. . . suffering in prayer for strength to finish the good work . The gospel is limited to the two working as one.

Nothing is attributed to the sin inspired crowds . The gospel key I believe binds that kind of spirit of lies with eternal chains.

I would think the cutting off the ear in that parable represented no faith that comes as it is written.

They were not given ears to hear what the Spirit says to the churches (believers) .He cut off the ear of the servant of the high priest to signify a deaf Adler .The one Master Rabbi as High Priest that lorded it over the faith of others. You could say he took away the ear of his messenger. And they with the focus on Judas were used to represent those under the "spirit of judgment" as those who fall backward slain of God . The kiss of Judas like the poison of a Adler, pronounced death upon his own self .

The number twelve a remnant of all the apostles is used in parables to represent the bride of Christ coming down on the last day , Judas was replaced with Matthias .The tribe of Dan for the same reason was used to represent the gates as tribes. as apostles do foundational walls . The cutting off the ear would seem to fit the understanding as a offering I would offer.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me? Mark14:48

Twice to emphasize the witness of God. The words I am he show the power of the gospel to appose the oral traditions of men that fall backward slain in the Spirit.

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.ohn 18:5-7 King James Version (KJV)

Christians bow forward. Like John leaning on Him .
Some of this is a breach of sound method to seek to multiply additional hypothetical possibilities where they are not necessary. Example is one ear doesn't make a person not hear both ears would have to be cut off the Flesh outside ear didn't hurt the ear drum inside the ear, you may not hear full range but the ear is still functional

I read scripture, that’s how I know Christ paid for our sins.

So when was that?Jesus ascended some 40 days after
Nope. He first ascended after his resurrection. He told Mary not to touch him for he had not yet ascended. Later, his disciples could touch him because he had ascended.

Later, he would ascend for good until his second coming.

There are difference with reading and understanding...
Seems you do not see the Uniqueness of Christ resurrection.
See most of the resurrection in the scriptures shows someone raising someone...
Christ do not need someone to raise him...
So to compare him to Jonah os to bring down the power of his resurrection

So when he descended to the lower parts.

Do you know what’s at the bottoms of the mountains? The heart of the earth.
There are probably roots under it...then underwater passages like caves where the big fishes can swim..

Even if you use it to symbolize, when scripture says those who have ears, if someone has one ear and the other missing still doesn’t fit the statement of ears, it would take both ears cut off to be equal to a deaf Adler not just one ear for the servant still had the other attached

Well I would be careful saying his spirit remained in the body, you believe His spirit remain in the lifeless body?

when people die the spirit departs that is a out of body experience
Hi thanks for the reply.

Not a salvation issue more what I would call how do we hear God who lovingly commands us to study rightly dividing as seeking His approval Another private interpretation as a personal commentary. In one way I would liken it as fingerprints.

Not lifeless as no Spirit but life of the Spirit. Both of the father working and the Son to both will and do the good pleasure of each other. The work that brought the peace of God surpasses our understanding, one. . . not seen, the understanding of faith

I would agree with the latter. It departs on the last day never to enter again, dead.

Just like the letter of the law, death, It departs never to enter again, dead.

The devil was bringing into the fleshly mind of Jesus a lying wonder or illusion spoken of in Colossians 2:18 . Jesus . . . .not moving one inch was given the word of His father and as the Son of man, a prophet and high apostle declared the word of God not seen, rebuking the devil . as it is written. . with the word it representing the unseen source of the faith . the father of lies departed

The alternative form of faith accompanied with as strong delusion .

Some people enjoy acting as if they are humble and love to worship angels. They always talk about the visions they have seen. Don’t listen to them when they say you are wrong because you don’t do these things. It is so foolish for them to feel such pride, because it is all based on their own human ideas. Colossians 2:18 ERV

"No faith" as it is written alone(sola scriptura) or all things written in the law and the prophets. The two witnesses of God, the gospel.

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Mathew 4: 8-10

Watch the video...it has nothing to do with translation
If the video is consistent with the Bible, then it will speak of Sheol/Hades as the place of departed spirits. Sorry, I do not watch posted videos.

Not "hell". Hades is not Hell. Sheol in the OT is Hades in the NT.
We can call it whatever we want, hell, hades, the grave, the heart of the earth, the pit, it’s all the same place.

Since when? If you do not know the difference between Hades and the Lake of Fire, kindly take some time to study the subject.

How many different places do you think dead people can go to? Also I did not include the lake of fire in that last, the lake of fire isn’t the same.

Hell in the KJV is not the lake of fire. It’s very clear that hell is temporary, and the lake of fire is permanent.

Ghena, hades and all the original language names for this one place has created all kinds of confusion on this issue.

Hell is GEHENNA and it is called "hell" in the KJV. And Gehenna is the Lake of Fire.

MARK 9
42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell [GEHENNA], into the fire that never shall be quenched:
[THE LAKE OF FIRE]
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. [THE LAKE OF FIRE]
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell [GEHENNA] , into the fire that never shall be quenched: [THE LAKE OF FIRE]
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched [THE LAKE OF FIRE]
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell [GEHENNA] fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.[THE LAKE OF FIRE]

And Sheol/Hades will remain until the Great White Throne judgment.

Hell’s fire shall never be quenched. Hell is eventually cast into the lake of fire. It is clear that there is a difference.

Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
