From what I’ve learned the body has different parts with different needs, regardless if peter was preaching to the Jews or gentiles, peter healed others not of satan but of God, so the title I think is miss leading to say peter wasn’t part of the body of Christ would be saying Jesus never counted him as a disciple.
I appreciate your answer. I know you have understood what you believe for a long time.
What we believe and traditions always gets us into trouble. I was the same way.

We have to trust the written Word of God rather then our understanding. again I appreciate you.

Acts 20:24-25 King James Version
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

===The law convicts but Grace saves

Acts 21:20 King James Version (KJV)

20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

===Peter did not understand Paul writings as He wrote in 2nd Peter

2 Peter 3:15-16 King James Version (KJV)

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Jesus gave Peter a different commission.

Matthew 19:27-28 King James Version

27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Peter continued following the Law. the church in Jerusalem were followers of Jesus and the Law and they continued to wait for the second coming.

Paul was chosen by Jesus on his way to Damascus, He was to go to the rest of the world to preach the Gospel of Grace. The Lord revealed many mysteries which were not given to the Jews. At the end of 2nd Peter 3:15, 16 Peter said He did not understand Paul's writings.

It is a mystery that is not easy to understand, I am still learning myself. please continue to ask questions

What is the Gospel?

Matthew Mark Luke and John

A major part of Christians in the U.S. base there belief in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Their whole premise and doctrinal belief is in the 2nd chapter of Acts:

The Day of Pentecost.

I dare say 90% of American churches teach this, endlessly.

So are they Jews or members of the Body Of Christ?

Acts 3:25 says these are the Jews. ..

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Their statement of Faith is John 3:16.

Ephesian 2:
11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

==Because of His Shed Blood, salvation is offer to all races, All Gentiles.

==By Believing Jesus is at the right hand of the Father you will be saved from the wrath of God.

It is a lot to learn, though a example in the OT Exodus 40 that might be similar is. Moses setting up the tent of meetings, Moses built everything the tabernacle the courtyard set lamp poles even dressed Aron yet Moses wasn’t allowed in the tent once a cloud fell upon the tent and Moses could not enter but Aron and his sons. Is Moses not included.

And in acts 3 doesn’t sound like peter is following the OT law.

Peter Speaks in Solomon’s Colonnade
(Deuteronomy 18:15-22)

11While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade. 12When Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?

13The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You handed Him over and rejected Him before Pilate, even though he had decided to release Him. 14You rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. 15You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of the fact.

16By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.

17And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.18But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer. 19Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away, 20that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you.

21Heaven must take Him in until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God announced long ago through His holy prophets. 22For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to Him in everything He tells you.f 23Everyone who does not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.’

24Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days. 25And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers, when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’ 26When God raised up His servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

Notice peter actually offered the Jews the return of Jesus if they repent in vs20.

That is the offer of the physical kingdom.

Hmm in 19 seems to imply that turn back seems peter is following another way, so that appears to be disagreeing with what ever they were doing.

Why did Jesus Command His disciples not to go to the Gentiles

Matthew 10:5-6 King James Version (KJV)

5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the

Gentiles
, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
------

In the 2nd coming, The Lord will be established as King of His Kingdom. The 12 apostles will judge the 12 tribes as Jesus told them Matthew 19:28

people will be call from all over the earth to come and worship the King Zechariah 14:16

Isaiah 2 King James Version (KJV)
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 3:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

So you ask why, in John 4 does explain why salvation comes from the Jews, so I think that’s a reason why the intructions and the offer of salvation went to them first lost sheep because it comes from them.

John 4

21“Believe Me, woman,” Jesus replied, “a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. 24God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

25The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When He comes, He will explain everything to us.”

26Jesus answered, “I who speak to you am He.”

The word in salvation in Hebrew is Yeshua (Jesus' Hebrew name). So it can also say Yeshua comes from the Jews.... so He was a Jew :)

Hmm in 19 seems to imply that turn back seems peter is following another way, so that appears to be disagreeing with what ever they were doing.
Repentance means change of mind.

The idea of repentance is actually more for the Jews and can be viewed from the parable of the tenants, told in all 3 synoptic gospels. (Matthew 21:33–46; Mark 12:1-12; Luke 20:9-19)

When Jesus and the 12 were preaching from Matt-John, they need to repent of rejecting God their Father in the OT, and believe in his Son is their promised King and Messiah, as foretold by their prophets. The Jewish nation had rejected and killed many of those prophets.

God had mercy on them and now decided to send his Son to them now. But as Jesus told them in the parable of the tenants, they were wicked and decided to slay the son instead, thinking they can then take control of the vineyard. The words they told Pilate was really horrific from this perspective

Matthew 27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

When Jesus was on the cross, he asked his father to forgive them for this act, because they know not what they do, the Father agreed to Jesus request.

So when Peter urged his Jewish brothers at Pentecost to repent (Acts 2:38), they are to repent from their horrific act of murdering the Son of God, and accept him once again as the Son of God and their King, since Jesus's resurrection showed, as Peter stated, he is indeed the Messiah and the Son of God. (Acts 2:36)

But of course the Nation did not, only a remnant of them did, so God blinded the nation temporary, setting his secret plan in motion to save us Gentiles, independent of Israel.

Peter, unlike what so many believe, did not preach to the Jews that Jesus died for their sins and rose again as a sign that all their sins are forever put away.

Peter did not understand this gospel even until after Jesus resurrected, although nearing the end of his life, he seems to understand it a bit better, if you read his farewell letters to the Jews in his epistles.

Was Peter included in the Gospel of Grace.

Was Peter a member of the Body of Christ.
Of course Peter was included in the Gospel of grace, and a member of the body of Christ for he is one of the disciples.

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The saints are built upon each other like a building according as they are added to the body of Christ.

Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone and then it is built from there.

Jesus said He will build His Church upon Peter which means Peter was the first person added to the Church after Christ, and Peter was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven which he preached the first message to the Jews concerning Jesus and salvation.

Also Peter wrote 2 books in the Bible.

Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

The New Jerusalem, the new earth that Jesus went away to prepare for the saints the final destination of the saints the 12 apostles of the Lamb are written in the New Jerusalem.

Peter's name is written in the New Jerusalem so of course he is part of the body of Christ.

Peter was the first person added to the Church built upon Christ.

Was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and preached the first message to the Jews.

Wrote 2 books and anybody in the Bible that wrote a book sure has salvation.

His name is written in the New Jerusalem.

While Jesus was on earth nobody was saved yet and could receive the Gospel of grace, and be a part of the body of Christ until Jesus shed His blood.

Which is why Jesus said born of women there has not been a greater than John the Baptist but those that are the least in the kingdom of heaven are greater than him for Jesus did not shed His blood yet for anybody to be part of the kingdom of heaven.

None of the disciples were saved yet until the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, which Jesus said to Mary do not touch me yet for I have not ascended to my Father for when He ascended to heaven then the plan of salvation was complete, and then Jesus came back and showed Himself to them and then ascended, and then Pentecost where they received the Spirit.

Galatians 2:9 King James Version
9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

Paul was given The Gospel of Grace but not to Peter.
This is hyper-dispensational psycho-babble. I saw this on another forum, and would not be surprised if this is the same person there, just using a different username there.

What we believe and traditions always gets us into trouble. I was the same way.

We have to trust the written Word of God rather then our understanding. again I appreciate you.

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
