It's supposedly planned, or in the works, but I believe there's been more difficulty in making an iPhone app work. And that increases the cost to make it. The site owner is the only one that creates the site and apps, so that can allow things down a bit as well, versus an outside team.
The app is only for thr chat rooms and not the forums, though.
