(Jeremiah 1:12)God said: "Let there be light" then He "saw the light, that it was good" (Genesis 1"4) In some ways even we play a part in God's Creation story. He uses us to accomplish His purpose. Those who destroy the earth will be destroyed. Those who build up and strength will be redeemed. I had an issue with going off to fight a war when I was young because I did not want to be a part of doing harm like that to others. Even Jesus teaches us we are to love our enemy.

I use to deliver refrigerators by myself. It was not difficult when you learn how to balance them. I could still do that stuff but I do not want to take a chance on something going wrong and pulling a muscle. My reflexes to move and get out of the way are not as fast as they use to be. The challenge was to teach my wife how to do that stuff. She would look at me and say you want me to move that? Little by little I would teach her how to do it.
I am not wild with people that do magic because they like to trick our eyes. I worked in theater on the lighting crew. If we control the light, we can control people's reality. Color is actually in the light and the object has the ability to absorb or reflect light. With the light we can make a ballet dancer look like they are jumping a lot higher than what they really are jumping.
Scripture does not say that the earth is no more than 6,000 years old, but in the beginning (doesn't say when that beginning was) the earth "was", and at that time the earth was formless, dark and empty.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
The first thing God did to it was put goodness in it, and scripture translates that Hebrew word meaning goodness as light. The sun and moon, or light as we think of it, wasn't created until the third day.
That when scripture starts speaking of the people of the earth.

Science confirms that you can go into the bone marrow of a rib with a needle and extract DNA. I am not sure how they cloned Dolly the first animal. I was very surprised at the time that they were able to do that. I wonder what sort of a conversation Eve would have with Mary. We are told that Mary supplied a lot of the DNA for Jesus. Only women do not have a male chromosome, so that had to have come from God. If Eve got her mitochondria from Adam then it would be identical to the mother or sister of Adam.

Yea I saw that same vid on that, he used a rock under the biggest swinging door in that rock castle. it was sent to a university and it is said they couldn’t match it with any known rock on earth. I am not completely buying that idea but the door swung extremely easy it weighed tons and a 8 year child was able to push it open.

As in we are already here so why worry about it. And as in how long it takes God to destroy the world, why worry about that when we have no control over it? There was creation and there will be a end. Good enough for me. Technically we have been in the end time birth pains for centuries so world destruction is in a patient course of God's timing and will. Either way everything you had listed was a bunch of maybes. No point in division over maybes.
You have replied as much as anyone on this thread and you support OEC .. Now you say why worry .. I don't worry except for those who are going to hell and OEC/evolution helps no one , where's the persecution when they side against the truth ..

We have 32 verses to work with in Genesis chapter one. Even all the books in the world could not show us all we can learn from the first chapter in the Bible. "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written." (John 21:25) All time and all history can be summed up in 32 verses.
There is so much information packed into the first three chapters so that we have the rest of the Bible to help us to understand those first three chapters. We have creation (ch1), the generations (ch2), the serpent and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (ch3). I get stuck on the word "evil" and trying to understand what that is all about.
