Ok so how do you deal with kids when they have nightmares?
I'm a softy I know, when my husband isn't home( he works night shift sometimes) i just let them crawl into bed with me.
My daughter woke up crying about "monsters in my eye!!!" when I asked her what scared her.
she's only just turned 3 years old and has a very active imagination. I did too but some of the things I tried to convince myself were imaginary weren't all in my head.
I used to have vivid dreams and conversations with beings that I at five years old should not have known or remember. I found things those beings taught me when I was older and studied other religions. That's what concerns me because I know now my imaginary friends were demons disguised as angels, kids, and every day people.
The danger of magic isn't just illusion and delusions, there are actually demonic forces behind some of the ritual and things. I've seen them and they say they are "angels" helping people towards the "Light" of "Truth"
I didn't say anything because the pastor at the supposedly Christian church I was attending believe in "other paths towards God"
it was very hard to discern the truth from the lies, but my heart was always troubled by their words and I say the fruit of their influence on the lives of my friends who trusted these beings and it was not good.
they were blinded by the lies, their minds kept to busy to see the truth, the spent hours chasing after knowledge, were never happy or just content to exist but busy busy busy, work work work, help help help others but never really stopping long enough to LISTEN and LIVE.
anyway maybe I'm over reacting and she just wants to cuddly with mommy and using tactics that she knows will work on me, but what do you think
is there any harm in letting kids jump in bed with you? i just keep thinking she'll be a teenager before we know it and probably won't ever want to come into our bedroom. lol.
