Revelation 20 and the 1000 years

What is harvest mean?

Joel talks about this:

"14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the Day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. 15The sun and moon grow dark, and the stars no longer shine. 16The LORD will roar from Zion and raise His voice from Jerusalem; heaven and earth will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for His people, a stronghold for the people of Israel." (Joel 3)

Every Generation takes the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14) The early church took the good news to the ends of the Earth in their day. They were finished by 70 AD. My generation took the gospel to the ends of the earth. Today, this generation will be the last to do this. They say that one billion people are going to be saved in this final move of God. Moses talks about this when he said: "I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil." (Deut 11:14) "May God give to you the dew of heaven and the richness of the earth— an abundance of grain and new wine. 29May peoples serve you and nations bow down to you." (Genesis 27:28)

The anointing now is greater than the anointing at the beginning when Peter was preaching on the day of pentecost. With the plagues and the epidemics we need more of the power of God today to rescue, save, heal and deliver people. Even it is difficult to believe that people can be set free from the sort of bondage they get themselves into. All praise - honor & glory be unto God who is able to set the captive free and release those that are held in bondage: "bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners" (Isaiah 61:1)

The gospel preached to the Gentiles. Satan bound by the gospel.

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20:1–3 (KJV 1900)

Satan rallies the unbelievers from around the world against Israel the church.

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:7–10 (KJV 1900)

1000 years? A sketch would be;

The angel = Greek for messenger

the chain = the message (gospel); The gospel sent to the whole world.

1000 years are Satan's binding. When they end Satan is loosed. So the 1000 years are not the kingdom. When they end, Satan is loosed, and he attacks the kingdom.

Satan loosed = the Post Christian era (we now live in = imminent return of Christ) the gospel message falls on deaf ears, the world assails the Church from all quarters ushering in the end.

When did the binding happen?

The binding happened in Christ's ministry. This includes preaching the gospel to all nations fulfilling God's promise to Abraham.

“Jesus said, “This voice has not come for my benefit but for yours. Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out.” (John 12:30–31)

So in essence, Revelation 20 is a panorama of the entire New Covenant era. Not a physical kingdom of the future.

The disciples asked Jesus if He was going to restore the kingdom to Israel at that time, and He said the Father will do it in the future.

Which God will make a full end of all nations their ruling governments, but will not make a full end of Israel although they will be punished in part.

God has not cast His people away that He once foreknew.

And Israel is blinded in part until salvation is no longer available to the Gentiles, and so all Israel shall be saved.

Which all the Jews will be back on their land in the future when the New Age Christ establishes peace in the Middle East.

God's plan is to restore the kingdom on earth to the Jews which Jesus and the saints will rule over the heathen that God spared when He fought the world and defeated them and saved Israel.

Jesus said one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass from the law until all is fulfilled, which Jesus is a sinless man and had to fulfill all the roles of Israel being perfect in them, King, High Priest, Prophet.

But Jesus has not fulfilled the role of perfect King for He came as a humble servant and it must be done on earth.

That is what the 1000 years reign is about restoring the kingdom to Israel and Jesus fulfilling the role of perfect King on earth.

Which in that day there shall be one LORD, and His name one, and the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, and the heathen have to go up year after year to worship Jesus and keep the feast of tabernacles, which animals will not fight with each other, and people and animals will not fear each other.

You are adding to scripture. Jesus answers the restoration of Israel in several places. I'll launch a post explaining it.

At the time of the reformation when Christ said it is finished the Holy Spirit stopped using Jewish flesh to represent the whole of mankind. And restored the government to the time of Judges . The time period promised to Joel. A new priesthood of believers from all nations of the world ..

God is not a man as us .Neither Jew not gentile

The one time outward display was never about the flesh and blood of one nation against another as if we did wrestle against corrupted flesh (dead)

Christ is ruling on earth . On the last day the kingdoms of this earth will become the kingdom of God in the new heaven and earth As new creatures,Neither r male nor female Jew nor Jentile.

Problem is, people don't want to be strong like Jesus. They don't want to show love and patience to those who hate them. They have no knowledge of how Jesus reigned over the ungodly and how believers reign with Christ in th them same way. Thank you dear Lord.
