During summer, I order and stock up on stuff that I need, especially during winter. I always buy in multi-packs so I've got 3 each of paper towels and toilet paper and 5 or 6 boxes of Kleenex. A TON of cough and cold products so if I get the Corona virus, I'm set.. (y)

I looked up reviews on the travel website that I some how got in touch with that was listed under and posed as Southwest Airlines and there were numerous complaints from people who said they were ripped off and it was a scam. Praise the Lord they were unable to rip us off. :) We also just found out that our cruise was completely cancelled so now we are getting a "full" refund from Carnival. (y)
That is why you NEVER, NEVER EVER give out your credit card info, especially over the phone!! Glad to hear you got it all straightened out though. :)

I’ve been wondering why everyone is buying up products like toilet paper and stuff for corona virus, when the vast majority of the symptoms are

Fever
Cough
Headache
Muscle pain

increased bowel movement is no doubt not a symptom of the virus and a running noise is not at the top of list for the virus isn’t like having the flu in that since of a lot of fluid secretion.

it’s kind of boggling why all the paper products are moving off the shelf when in reality those things are not what is mostly needed for the virus. fever headache muscle pain how is toilet paper good for that.

The worse symptom that is killing people is the fluid on the lungs that you can’t cough up.

Yes, once you get pneumonia, it does take medical intervention to help clear the problem and maybe people are thinking they can cough into a tissue?

I didn't order any of what I mentioned, because of the virus. I'm somewhat disabled and don't have a car, and I hate going out on bad winter days, ever since I slipped on ice and got sciatica in my back and left leg.. So going out in winter scares me to death, since I certainly don't want to fall again.

Last year, I was on the bus and the person in front of me sneezed. A day later, I got a wicked cold with a 101 degree fever, lasted two weeks. After that, I chose to get a good stockpile of cold products..

I order from Walmart.com and it usually arrives to my door within 2 or 3 days, so that makes me very happy.

it’s the high fever that is killing people as well but I think the world has gone mad in buying up all the paper products I just don’t get it and how that mentality has started, if a person gets the virus they won’t be increasing their use maybe a little might get a running noise but I’ve read that isn’t a common symptom it’s the fever and lung infection that is at the top and muscle pain headaches not fluid secretion.

Back in 1991, I had very bad pnuemonia, and landed in hospital ICU for 2 weeks. They had to pound on my back every couple hours to loosen up the crap in my lungs. IT HURT very badly when they did that. :(

I completely understand why you would order products or even stock up like you mentioned access to stores is a issue for you along with the disability and I’m sorry for that.

In South Africa, they bought up all the hand soap and sanitizers... Wonder what it will be like during the rapture?

I need to go to Walmart tomorrow for a few things. It will be interesting to see how full or empty the aisles will be...

This had me thinking, what people are doing who can get to stores with no problem etc. by buying up all the paper products hurts people like yourself who have a hard time getting products already without any pandemic going on, I hope it doesn’t get worse because the less fortunate people always take the brunt of things like this.

burning buckles and shoes for fuel won’t be pretty, a complete break down of morals and mentalities no doubt.

What I don't like is the extreme couponers who buy 2000 of each product, even if they'll never use it. They buy it ONLY because they have a coupon for it.. THAT hurts other customers who might truly need what those couponers are greedily hoarding..

The world went through 2 world wars, several conflicts and atrocities, yet they persevered and survived despite the odds... now we are a society where a pandemic hits us and we crumble... It's actually sad

No doubt this issue right now is creating greed paranoia fear worry and slew of other things that I think are not of God this mentality that is on the news in the stores I don’t know what to say.

I’m single I haven’t gone to store for anything, I need to start cooking for myself and stop eating out most of my meals I rely on others to cook my meals I could save by not eating out a lot though I work a lot so I guess it’s been the convenience to buy ready made food but I do need to change that lol.
