Is Ezekiel’s Temple literal or spiritual?

Any temple comes not from scripture but is self-fulfillment of false prophecy. Ezekiel's temple can only be built by God, the temple made without hands. Which Ezekiel symbolizes Christ. Any return to animal sacrifice denies Christ. Even if you teach it without it ever happening.

Hello! How are you? I hope all is well during this time.

Tell me, how many various offerings other than a sin offering are you aware of that Jews brought to the Temple that pleased God (hence why he desired a Mishkan and King Solomon to build a Temple)? Furthermore, are you not aware that Paul after the death of Jesus brought 4 animal offerings to Jerusalem when we ended his Nazarite vow? Are you aware that everyone offered sacrifices until 70AD when the Temple was destroyed? Please read Leviticus and Acts and you'll see there is much more to the Temple than "Jesus died and animal sacrifices ended".

I would offer we must careful how we hear when seeking the approval of God

The temple is made up of the temporal as that in which the eyes see. The temple again as the temporal is used in various parables to represent the unseen new order of heaven and earth of the hidden glory. It is described as having no temple.

The destroying of the abomination of desolation. It was transferred over to another temporal temple the believers having the treasure of that temple in our earthen body having the power of God working in us with us to both will and perform his good pleasure.

In that way beauty is in the eye of the Faithful Creator not seen the eternal . Therefore to behold His beauty we take the things seen, the temporal to give us ears and eyes to hear the unseen understanding.

To most of mankind the temple could of been considered a wonder of the world. Great historical value.

Personally I think it is amazing to show his long suffering turning those faithless Jews over to do that which they should not of as the abomination of desolation ( pagan foundation of Kings as to the temple seen ) . Using that period of time as a parable of the unseen glory until the time of reformation.

I can imagine Jesus walking out of the temple for the last time showing his detain. An abomination of desolation that stood in the holy unseen place of God's hidden glory. We walk by faith .

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Revelation 21:22;23

Hi there. I'll try and make this simple and light.

The Temple is an extremely holy place and a Holy and Awesome God commanded it of Israel to build. Yes, many Jews at that time unfortunately sinned in it, but that doesn't rid of its sanctity and Jesus was very pained to have to condemn it. For if not, then the Romans who destroyed it should have never been punished and greatly afflicted after 70AD. God commanded King David and King Solomon to build a Temple, so heaven forbid would God be a liar or hate His own creation. But instead of destroying the Jews, He took His wrath out on the Temple and caused Jewish exile (without a Temple, there are no Priests, no Kings, no Israeli rule and total exile). A good parent takes away the "toys" when a child is bad, but the last thing he wants to do is hurt the child.

Last point. If Jews who directly SAW God Himself and are God's chosen people, could be prone to fall of the way of God, how much more prone would previously pagan, uneducated Gentiles be prone to the same fate if not worse? I would be careful on how to negatively place anyone else down. Especially Jews who are still 1st not because they are greater than, but because they still have a higher responsibility.

The phrase 'he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease' in verse 27 is referring to the occurrence of - and the ramifications of - this:

Mark 15:

38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

It is the middle of the 70th week. Christ dies on the cross. The veil of the temple is rent from top to bottom. Sacrifice and oblation cease.

After the temporary shock was over - I am pretty sure they repaired the veil, cleansed the temple, and it was business as usual...

It says that He shall cause . . . to cease - and, He did.

It does not mean that . . . wouldn't start up again.

Ezekiel says it is for sins = Denying Christ even now if you preach it.

Why would he say it would cease ? Rather than it would cease for a time? How long? And what would be the purpose seeing the veil was rent signalling the time of reformation the last days had begun ?
